Chicago, at first dubbed The Chicago Transit Authority, immediately stood out due to their unique, horn-driven instrumentation and top-notch songwriting, a combination that quickly found a home on free-form FM radio in the late '60s. After 45-plus years in business, Chicago's music has never left the airwaves and the band remains on tour more often than not, playing concerts in every corner of North America. With a catalog of hits including "Saturday in the Park," "Beginnings," "If You Leave Me Now," "Baby What a Big Surprise," "You're the Inspiration," and "Hard Habit To Break," fans are always eager to snap up tickets to catch one of the most successful American rock bands in history. Four members of the group's current lineup -- vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Robert Lamm and horn section members Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider -- date back to Chicago's formation in 1967. Even today, the band isn't just about nostalgia; Chicago continues to record new singles and albums regularly.

Hard to Believe that these guys are in their 80s. The singing and horns brought me back 50 years. Great music, great venue and lots of energy.
Not a great show neither musician, most famous songs were not sang properly to create an impact in the audience.
Excellent Show!! Everything I expected and even more!!
We loved the Chicago concert and the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater is a great venue for big name concerts. I think almost every seat in the house is good and the giant screens are outstanding. The group with their 3 originals and the new guys were all excellent. It was one of the best concerts I have ever attended.
Band was good. Lead singer screeched and voice was too high. Venue is a great place to watch a concert.
I would see the group again. The band gave all they had in singing and playing. The band still got it.
I just can’t say enough about the Chicago concert! Incredible musicians, incredible vocals ,just amazing!!!!! I’m still on a high after seeing them.
Wonderful concert. The venue was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend attending events at this venue.
This band never disappoints you. Amazing talent. Brings back wonderful moments of the past. Highly recommend seeing them!
LOVED LOVED LOVED!!!! They still sound AMAZING!! I can't wait for them to come back so we can go again. This was our 2nd time. I left early last time because I didn't feel good. So glad I had the chance to do it again.
We have seen Chicago 23 times, guess you can tell we like them. I will say this event was great! They sounded wonderful. I don't know if it was the venue, Hard Rock in AC as opposed to a NJ open air concert venue, but they were Amazing
Went to see Chicago at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City, NJ . There are only a few of the original members of the band . The new members of the band did a good job of keeping up with the music set. There’s a new lead vocalist, saxophone player, Bassist and guitarist . They played a list of their hits that really took me back in time . There were a few songs where the vocals came through very low. Seems like the sound system operators weren’t paying attention until some of the songs were almost over. Other than that Chicago put on a great show and we had a great time .
The Chicago concert was great they played all of their hits & sounded as good as ever would definitely go see them again. Love the Hard Rock I prefer smaller venues. Everything went smoothly, quickly with the check in & was able to access my tickets on my phone with no issues. We also had great seats. Already planning my next concert in Ocober. Thanks!
It was a 2 night Concert of the band Chicago The Venue is great if you stay away from side seats. It was originally set up for boxing. But we sat up front and had so much fun with band members smiling at us and throwing guitar 🎸 picks There is good choices for drinks and snacks which you can bring to your seats Have been to this venue often
I enjoyed the band, Chicago, at the Hard Rock, Atlantic City. Good ambiance, graet music, light show, retro scenes in the background with excellent sound system. DFownside was a very long intermission/
We really enjoyed the show, they sounded great. Crowd was in to evry song. People were so friendly. Disappointed that 2 of the originals was not with the band but its like they never missed a beat. Would see them again in this great venue.
The show took me back to my teenage years. So much fun.
The lines at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City moved very fast. Excellent job also from Ticket Master. My wife and I have been to about five Chicago concerts over the years. I bought these tickets on a whim months ago. WOW, AM I GLAD THAT I BOUGHT THEM! This was the best concert ever!!! There is only one original band member. He played his instrument, sang and narrated about the band through the years. The current band members are so strong in their vocals and instrumentals that you soon forget that they are newer to the band. I would definitely see them again!
Chicago is my favorite group. Been lucky enough to see them about 75 times since August of 1978. Unfortunately I never saw Terry Kath. I went to their HOF induction in Brooklyn and was very disappointed when Peter Cetera wasn't there. Right after the induction ceremony, woodwind and founding member Walter Parazaider retired. This left 3 members of the original 7 still with the group. Unfortunately, health reasons have caused trombonist Jimmy Pankow as well as keyboardist and guitar player Robert Lamm to not be on this current tour. Not hearing Robert play Beginnings was a travesty. Neil Donell made a feeble attempt but he couldn't fill Roberts shoes. I had seen on a recent YouTube video that at one show they had a handful of women playing violins, obviously this was probably a one and fine since they weren't at the Atlantic City concert at the Hard Rock casino. They played shows on Sat and Sun and the Sun show was about 90% full. It was an OK show, but very frustrating that Lee was the only original member there.
Saw Chicago in July 2025. There were 9 musicians on stage. Only 1 was an original band member. So basically we paid to view a tribute band. The songs were enjoyable but the old original Chicago musicians’ “tightness” in playing together was not there. The trumpet player even sang the words to “Color My World”. What?? And not so good either. Oh, and he was the only original member on stage that night. Unfortunately, this was the last time I’ll pay to see Chicago. Sad.
