Peg did a stellar job of telling about the buildings and at an appropriate time. I appreciated her knowledge of the history of the buildings. I wish the Architecture Foundation had a means of collecting tips to go directly the the Foundation.
The tour was great thanks to the guide who was well informed. I would recommend it to everyone who visits Chicago!

Seriously, who would think an architecture tour could be so totally engaging? This immersive experience is worth every penny. Chicago’s architecture is truly remarkable. I love that this is a not-for-profit organization and that the tour guides do it because they are passionate about Chicago architecture. And rightly so! They volunteer their time to tell us all about Chicago’s storied tales of urban design, planning and growth. Totally fascinating. My teenagers even enjoyed it!
This was my second adventure with “Chicago’s First Lady.” Just be prepared to look up…and up…and up. And you don’t need to duck down under the bridges either. A fascinating look at the Chicago story. This trip should be a must for all visitors. It’s a “class” as well as a party. Thank you Chicago Architecture Foundation…and your wonderful volunteers.
Our guide was incredible - he was very knowledgeable about the city and easily shared 150+ names, buildings, dates, and other impressive details. I've lived in Chicago for 12 years and learned so much! HIGHLY recommend.

The docents who give the CAC Foundation River Cruise are well trained and knowledgeable. I've done this cruise many times and wouldn't think of going with any other company.
From the time we arrived to board the First Lady the guide didn't miss a beat with the names and history of the buildings that she pointed out to us. Would highly recommend this cruise to anyone interested in Chicago history. Thank you

I have taken other tours in the past with visitors. This was my first tour with The Architecture Center and it was fabulous and SO much better than the others. Our guide, Dan J., was excellent - so knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend it.

The boat ride was fantastic. What a way to see the city. The tour guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Went in the afternoon, which was a perfect way to end the day. Taking the boat ride early in our vacation was great so the rest of the week we had references for all the beautiful buildings we saw. Highly recommend
Wonderful detail of architecture, answered all my questions about Chicago's buildings.
We loved our cruise. Our docent Lori was wonderful, great knowledge, history and sense of humor. We went at 5:30 on a Sunday and the boat was not too crowded but the crowd was engaged and fun. Lori shared lots of facts about the River, Chicago, and the architecture and architects. We learned so much!
Everything was great. The volunteer docent really knew his stuff and had a great delivery. The boat experience would be great by itself but the speaker made this really unforgettable.
