Cher in Concert
Often referred to as the "Goddess of Pop' Cher is more than just a singer. She is also a Grammy Award, Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actress and artist. The talented singer began her musical career at the tender age of sixteen and went on to form the duo "Sonny and Cher" with Sonny Bono. In 1965, Cher released her debut solo album "All I Really Want to Do" and in 1966 she had her first live performance with Sonny Bono at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. In total, Cher has released an impressive twenty-five studio albums, three live albums and nine compilation albums since her start in the 60s. The talented singer-actress has completed six worldwide tours throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Her first solo concert tour, T ake Me Home Tour, debuted in 1979, and her last concert tour, Living Proof: The Farewell Tour, lasted from June 2002 until April 2005. In 2017, Cher headed to Vegas with the show Classic Cher, set within the expansive Park Theater's 5,200-seat Monte Carlo venue. Fans of Cher live and in concert note that her performances are filled with equal parts high-energy "Believe" moments and emotionally-charged romantic ballads along with multiple set and costume changes for an all-around impressive experience. Aside from her musical career, Cher has built an impressive career for herself as an actress, starring in the award-winning films Moonstruck and Silkwood. In 1988, she won the "Best Actress in a Leading Role" Academy Award for the film "Moonstruck" as well as the Golden Globe award.
Cher Background
Born in El Centro, California, to an actress mother, Cher began her career at the age of 16 when she decided to move to Los Angeles with her best friend. She enrolled herself in acting classes and worked as a dancer to earn a living while getting her start. Cher's life changed in 1962 when she met fellow singer Sonny Bono, not only because he would go on to be her performing partner and future husband, but because he introduced her to producer Phil Spector. Spector gave Cher her first job as a backup singer and also produced her debut single "Ringo, I Love You."Stay updated on Cher's personal life as well as tour dates and individual tickets by following her on Instagram or subscribing to her newsletter.
Cher on Tour
Following the completion of 82 shows by the end of this year, the Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Golden Globe, Billboard Icon Award recipient and Kennedy Center Honoree shows no signs of slowing down. The Here We Go Again Tour began September 2018 in conjunction with the release of her Warner Bros. "Dancing Queen" album which landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Charts. Cher recently performed in Europe for the first time in 15 years and received many standing ovations nightly, several five star reviews along with the unanimous raves for her previous U.S. Tour dates.
Due to overwhelming demand, Cher extended her phenomenally successful Here We Go Again Tour, announcing additional dates in 2020. Nile Rodgers & CHIC continue as the special guest for the North American outing.

She did not sing live, because of her health at that moment
Why do you sell seats that are totally blocked from view of the stage! I could've stayed home and watched Cher on tv a lot cheaper! Shame on you!!!!!
Security at the event could have been better. We arrived at the concert 1 1/2 hours early but did not get through the doors until 10 mins. before the concert. This event was disorganized and not planned out correctly. Concert was amazing but need to plan accordingly by the coordinators.
She still has it, and proves that age is but a number. Such a great entertainer who game me a second chance to take her off my bucket list of artists I wanted to see. This show is a Vegas type of road show with so much to see and so much to hear. I was truly entertained by her and she is so charismatic. I am glad to have had the chance to see her open the tour in my home city of El Paso, Texas and after learning she was ill a few days earlier and still came out and gave it her all I will truly remember this concert forever Almost all her hits were performed, but still was a very enjoyable show and oh that tribute to Sonny was remarkable and touching. If you get a chance to see her please do she will not disappoint!
Cher was amazing in spite of having just recovered from an upper respiratory infection. She did her best vocally with many songs but did let us know there would be some " technical assistance", and i respect her for telling her audience the truth about her performance that night. She puts on a great show, with so many costume changes, some simple dance moves, and lots of witty banter and stories. I enjoyed every minute of the sjow and wish i could see her again! This was Cher concert #5 for me, so i won't complain. Worth every last cent for the ticket.
Cher is as awesome as ever! She did not disappoint even though she had been down with a cold and had to cancel other performances. Her energy is electrifying. Her numerous wardrobe changes, her incredible voice and gorgeous all over - among the Best top performers ever! One beautiful person. So grateful to have seen her!!!
It was very great experience to see cher live on her farewell tour. Have to do something about the bathroom especially the females long lines
Very glad I went to this concert. The production/showmanship was amazing. Cher had cancelled concerts in the days prior to this event; due to illness. As such, it appeared to me that she was lip synching - although it was not really a deteriment to the show. Why I cannot give this event a, "Five Star" is primarily due to the lousy operation by the University - poor parking choices, long waits in lines to enter, substandard food in concessions, poor organization of floor seating (rows numbers that jump).
Small and intimate venue making it pleasant for such a great icon like Cher. Entering the facility was extremely hard due to long lines. Wheelchair accessibility was confusing in that everyone we asked for guidance provided different information.
I was so excited to see Cher, however couldn't "see" her except through a TV screen. Could have saved myself the money and maybe seen it later on You Tube. The stage was really forward from all other events I have attended at the Don Haskins. I've never had this happen before. An obstructed view warning should have been given. I enjoyed what I could hear, but horrible to not be able yo see for $180.
Cher is a class act! I can only hope to have that much energy when I'm her age!
But I was sitting in Section A row 37-5 and I couldn't see the videos cher was showing, it was unfair for us sitting there we saw half of the stage. It took away what could have been a AWESOME concert to if only.... but CHER WAS FABULOUS. ,next time consider all seats have the same view, we paid for our tickets they were nor FREE.
We enjoyed the show. Thought is was well put together.
Great show! Cher is a legend, but the lines were so long, a lot of lines for everything
Cher is amazing. I enjoyed the concert, her song choices and all her costume changes. The venue needs to be better prepared with parking and the large crowd attending the concert. The doors should open sooner so there won’t be a long line.
Event coordinator for venue has to re-group. Opened doors way to late. At 7:30 for an 8:00 event. Lines went all the way to Taco Tote on Mesa. North side had 2 lines going to mesa as well and 1 lined up on Sun Bowl. It was somewhat windy and chilly. People had to stand in the elements way past the beginning of the opening act because 1) they didn't gave enough staff 2) security was scanning everyone front and back, checking purses. No issue with doing this but they have to let people in earlier. There were so many people waiting to get in by the time of the performance that they just quit scanning and let people in. 1/2 of the people missed most of the opening act. There were a lot of seniors and that wasn't taken into consideration.
Once inside, the concert was amazing. Worth every penny. The lines to get in was ridiculous. Not all doors were opened and it seemed like Security was taking their sweet time clearing everyone. They did not have the Security manpower they should have for that event, hence the long lines and wait to enter the facility.
What’s not to love about a talented entertainer that STILL puts on a great show? Cher is an amazing storyteller, a genuine heart, and the only icon worth splurging to see nowadays. Her touching tribute to Sonny left my heart in pieces, but not long enough to leave me broken for long. The dancers were amazing, the sets and costumes were brilliant, and Cher is indeed a rich man!
GREAT show - all I'd hoped for. Incredible music, exceptional dancers, and having Nile Rodgers and Chic as an opener was a great treat.
What an beautiful woman, the experience was inspiring, seeing someone create such an performance entertaining for everyone. Thank you for coming to El Paso!
