A riveting performance. I’ve seen the movie a dozen times and knew what was coming next the entire show, but Chazz was so incredibly captivating that I hung on every word. His Q&A with the audience after the show was just as entertaining! Simply put…WOW!

  • A wonderful night with Chazz

by JC on 10/4/22Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was really remarkable watching Chazz bring the characters of "A Bronx Tale" to life in his one man show. You have to see it to believe it. The cherry on the cake was the question and answer session he had with fans after the show. It felt like a deeply personal experience to us fans of the show and movie.

Lifetime experience. I would go again and again. Man is Humble. Generous with his time. Stayed 20 minute after performance for Q&A.

  • Cheers to Chazz

What an incredible soliloquy of his own story. I was mesmerized from the beginning of the evening. His talent for playing different characters with his vocals and body language made the tale come to life. And not to say that there was no intermission withcontinuity that was flawless. I saw the movie and the Broadway musical two times and everyone of these versions showed interesting, amusing and relatable characters. After thirty-five years not a beat was out of step.

I've seen his one man show in Florida twice, this was by far the best plus a Q&A afterwards. Chazz is the man..

  • What an awesome talent

by Jeri Dayle on 5/4/22St. George Theatre - Staten IslandRating: 4 out of 5

My husband is a Bronx Tale fan and saw both the movie and musical. We signed on for this one man "prequel" and were amazed. Chazz transforms from young C, to his dad, to Sonny quickly and with panache. He also hand punchy lines that elicited way more laughs than I had expected. Glad that I make sauce, must be the key to our happy marriage. (That and theater dates.)

  • Beautiful theater, great staff.

Oh Chazz. It was our third time seeing him. We have been to his One Man show off Broadway, Broadway production, and now in St George, and every time it gets better and better. This guy is a great story teller that knows how to capture his audience and keeps them entertained. And if I get the chance, I’ll see him again. BTW: his restaurant in White Plains is fantastic. Check it out.

The show exceeded our expectations. It was amazing how 1 person could present a play that had multiple characters. His comments about this true story was heartwarming. The theater was beautiful. Glad they have been able to keep it open.

I took the family to see the show, Chazz was incredible! I dont know how he was able to go straight through in his one man show (1 1/2 hours) without a break or drop of water! His portrayal of each separate event which took place was fascinating! It was his 1000th show, he also gave us some history of how the show became "The Movie" with Bobby Deniro sitting a watching in the audience at one of his earliest performances of the show!
