It was as much as could be expected for a one man show. He covered ALL the parts of the movie. He knew it all. He enjoyed himself as did the audience.
I wasn't sure what to expect before the show, only knowing it was a one man show. I did think there was going to be visuals and sound effects to keep you interested. Some props!? Nope! That wasn't the case. It was just Chazz clapping his hands from scene to scene reciting the whole Bronx Tale from start to finish with only the light on him and a chair. Once realizing this was going to be the whole show I have to say that myself and my family were ready to leave. It was great seeing Chazz there in the theater but that was about the only excitement this show had to offer.
Chazz Palminteri’s one-man show A Bronx Tale is an absolute masterclass in storytelling. Palminteri’s performance was nothing short of amazing—effortlessly transitioning between multiple characters, each with their own distinct personality and voice. His energy, timing, and delivery made the show both entertaining and immersive, holding my attention from start to finish. One of the highlights was how he spoke directly to the audience about the journey of this story—from its origins as a play to becoming a hit movie and later a Broadway musical. Hearing firsthand how A Bronx Tale came to be added a deeply personal and inspiring touch to the experience. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the story or experiencing it for the first time, Palminteri’s one-man show is a must-see. It’s gripping, heartfelt, and filled with the kind of storytelling that stays with you long after the final words are spoken.
Chazz was incredible! Drove 1 & 1/2 hours and So worth it. We were blown away by this show. I could see it again and again. Only drawback at the Richfield theater in CT is the seats are child size and ZERO legroom.
Chazz Palminteri was great. Worked hard to tell the story and was impressive. The venue was clean but the seating was way too tight in section 101 and 102. The seats could be spaced out better. When someone showed up late and had a seat in the middle of the row, everyone had to get up and walk out into the aisle so they could get to their seats.
This one man show is breathtaking. I saw it 36 years ago in Los Angeles and now here in Huntington. Phenomenal both times!

Chaz is a great story teller and it comes from passion and from living the story being told. I’ve been wanting to see this show for a while and I’m glad I finally got there.
