Charlotte Hornets History
The original Charlotte Hornets franchise joined the NBA in 1988 and, thanks to players such as Larry Johnson, Alonzo Mourning and Kendall Gill (and later, Glen Rice, Anthony Mason and Jamal Mashburn), enjoyed substantial success in the 1990s, starting with the 1992–93 season. Owner George Shinn moved the franchise to New Orleans in 2002.
But the NBA returned to Charlotte for the 2004–05 season with the expansion Bobcats, led by owner Robert L. Johnson, the first African-American majority owner of a team in one of the four major sports. In 2010, Michael Jordan took over majority ownership of the franchise, and in 2014, Jordan's team re-adopted the Charlotte Hornets name after the previous New Orleans Hornets became the Pelicans.
During the 2017–18 season, four-time All-Star Kemba Walker became Charlotte's all-time leading scorer, surpassing original Hornet Dell Curry.

The game and the atmosphere where awesome, the entertainment kept the crowd going; I got my money’s worth and left the game in good spirits.
I thought there was an error on the price of the seats because they were courtside at a low price. I enjoyed visiting charlotte and spectrum theater to see the game. They had a lot of different food and drink options, getting in before and out after was fairly easy.the staff kept asking to see our tickets which was really annoying and kind of insulting but It was an overall great experience.
The view was good the atmosphere atmosphere was fantastic. Can’t wait to get back.
Outstanding. The bathrooms clean the stadium clean the workers nice and pleasant.
NBA games are always amazing, and I was so proud to watch Hornets win the game.

Music was at a deafening sound ... should be lowered a bit!
Check in was easier than I thought and the experience was amazing.

The experience was amazing! It was my sons 13th birthday and our 1st ever nba basketball game we’ve attended & I couldn’t of asked for a better time! We loved it and look forward to many more trips to nba games!!! Safe to say his birthday was a super success!! Thank you sincerely!!

Took my son and he loved it, we will be back for more
My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. Our seats were awesome, the crown club was very welcoming everyone was polite and friendly… We will definitely be visiting again
I wasted 16.50 to see the Charlotte Hornets win a game and still get to enjoy the postseason at home.
2 adults and a 6 year old grandson, tickets, parking. eats, drinks and 1 basketball souvenir, total cost 265.00 dollars for 2.5 hours of fun. Upper deck tickets by the way.
I enjoyed myself. The city of Charlotte is a hidden gem. The Spectrum Arena is really nice. I absolutely love the team store. I have nothing bad to say other than I wish Michael Jordan put some more talent on the team.
Good time. Inexpensive tickets. Good variety of snacks and food. Would go to another event definitely.
Awesome game great environment. Wish we could get the crowd more involved during gameplay but overall an awesome experience for a weeknight.
The game is fun. The team lost but, eh, that was expected.
I mean I haven’t been to a game since the team switched back from the Bobcats. But my experience wasn’t pleasant. The price for my level X seat could’ve been lower. And then the food I ordered at a self kiosk was sold out, after I had waited 20 mins to receive it. Felt like the stadium wasn’t prepared to be full that day
