We had an amazing time and got to see all if our favorite players up close. Will definitely be back for more games!
We arrived early to match and entered the venue about 20 min before the kickoff. We went to browse the concourse and find some food before the game. First vendor we were interested in did not accept debit/credit cards and we had to cash app them. No worries here! The tacos were excellent! We got a few beers to start the match and then went back about 20 minutes into the match to realize they were selling out!! How is that possible!? We walked over the other end to be met with the same fate. Not even 30 minutes into the first half and there was no beer left. I was at a loss for words given the large fan base that CLTFC has that this venue was so under prepared. I’m happy to support small vendors of all kinds but this seemed like poor event management. I would like to add that we attend Charlotte Independence’s US Open Cup match and their vendors were exceptional and fan base was almost the same given the away Appalachian FC fans.
Great energy and enthusiasm from the fans at the Plex. Was very pleasantly surprised at how great the atmosphere was. Lots of camaraderie amongst the fans and it didn’t hurt the team was also rocking it. Wish I could make it for the Orlando match.
Wish there was a bit more todo. Not much food to choose from and they only served one type of beer... Definitely was hoping more players would come to autograph the items for the fans . The employees of the place kept rushing the players to hurry up. That they only had a few more mins. There were so many fans looking forward to the players autographs. But having said all that my son got his jersey signed . He had an amazing night . Best time ever he said . The young woman working the merch stand (shoulder length brown hair) was absolutely amazing such a kind and wonderful person ❤️ . I will say for our 1st time there for an FC game it was pretty fun 😊. My child said best night ever!
Great time. And great game. Beer was flying when Charlotte fc scored . Had to take a shower when I got home!!
I like the action of the players and the crowd. I didn’t like the calls or lack of calls the referees were making. Also we sat in a section with a group of young kids that the parents weren’t supervising so I was getting hit with ice from the sodas, popcorn, and pretzels that they were throwing at each other. The parents sat away from them instead of near them to supervise them. I think when there is a group of kids like this, the parents need to stay with them. Other than that the experience was good.
The first time in 9 years that have went to game. It was a great experience.
It was a great experience for my daughter and I as it was a first time that we had been to a MLS match. The atmosphere was amazing!! The group of people behind the soccer goal that was playing the drums, singing and dancing was awesome!! Definitely enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to attend another match.
Charlotte FC games are always tons of fun, however, you must get there way early if you want a shot at sitting in the supporters section. We unfortunately were late due to an accident on Independence and uptown parade traffic so barely got to watch the first half of the game while we looked for a place to sit. We ended up having to ask the ticket office to give us seats in a completely random section.
Overall I enjoyed the experience. I would have like to have known the time that the stadium opens and if there were any promotions. I went through the stadium entrance before the staff passed out promotional caps.
Great experience buying tickets. The staff stadium and game were nothing short of awesome. We wish our team had played better it will come in time. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
The concession stand ran out of sour patch, and the person working had to go on a hunt for them. Left us standing there for like 5 minutes. Also, the I would’ve bought more beer if the beer seller stop at each isle. They sort of just walk down halfway and yell out “COLD BEER” I’m sure I’m not the only one that would’ve bought more beer if they did a bit better. Maybe some eye contact down the isles? Other than that it was a good time. Wished Charlotte FC played atlanta better. What can you do though?
As always such a fun time. A party and game all in one!!!! The season opener was off the charts! Can’t wait to go back!
Great atmosphere, great venue, awesome family fun.
Fc game was easy to get into and fun while there. Bathroom was clean. Lines moved quickly. Only complaint was when asking for assistance was constantly passed along.
Our kid is a huge soccer fan and wanted to come see Charlotte FC play. Man, did we have a blast! First, we live close to 3 hours away, coming from the Fort Bragg NC Area and as soon as we hit Charlotte we start seeing ads for The team- “Defend the fortress!” Next the excitement really builds up on the walk from the parking lots to the stadium, Hats, Jerseys, scarves, drums, and crowds of people everywhere. The excitement was palpable and you could feel it guiding all the way in to the stadium! 65000 people packed Into the stadium and the “bleacher creatures” were rocking! Then For the National Anthem, the mic cut off and the entire stadium sang the National anthem beautifully. The game was awesome though we loss 1-0, it was definitely worth the trip and the cost of concessions (Beer and Food)! 10/10 recommend!
We enjoyed our first Charlotte FC soccer game. The energy and the support demonstrated during the game made the event a lot of fun. We personally light setting up high so that you could see the whole field and one given time.
The game and atmosphere were great. It’s a shame that a plain hot dog, bag of peanuts and two waters cost around 23 dollars.
It was great time, easy to get in and out, had a blast!
No cleaning and no toilet paper in either men’s or women’s restrooms, at the home opener, when they’re expecting a capacity crowd with $15 ticket specials. Not a ton of fun fan interactions in or around the facility. Oh, and the team sucks.
