This show was a trainwreck. The show was scrapped and no longer part of the Tour. His new show is more on the mark. Wish the WARLOCK had "brought it" to the fans in Detroit like he did in Chicago. Long live the Rock Star From Mars!!!

  • Worst Show ever

by DominicB on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I have an awesome story to tell people. I was at the worst show ever produced. Nobody can come to me and complain about how bad a show they have seen is--I have them beat by saying I saw Charlie Sheen in Detroit. Everything Charlie did failed! And I loved every bit of it! We were treated to 2--yes TWO--Q&A segments, with answers such as "No, that was Emilio," "AA stories are boring," "yes, you can have a hug," and "I'll think about that, [telling a story about porn stars]." We were teased with a story about how his car was stolen in LA--he said it involved crack, but he didn't tell the story. We saw part of a film Charlie directed that was so bad, Charlie got up and had the movie stopped. This was one of my few disappointments; this film was "Ed Wood" bad and I wanted to see the end. The show ended quite abruptly. Possibly the worst Snoop Dog music video was played. Then Simon Rex, the former MTV VJ--who looked like an extra from Jersey Shore, came out and rapped an awful song. Rex left after finishing, and the house lights came on. My cousin and I stuck around for a while and Charlie and friends came out while the stage was being cleaned up, did a curtain call and said, "you guys in the balcony come on down and see us." By the time we made it down, they had left. A fitting end.

  • Not worth the money

    by Laurie48154 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I know alot of people have complained how horrible the show was. I am not sure what anyone expected. I did expect something put together much better than it was. Charlie Sheen is an amazing actor. I did think there would be alot more to the show. I personally was expecting some stand up comedy bit. The show had short movie clips that were better than when he was on stage. He lost the crowd when he told one heckler "Hey I already got your money". Also he put down Detroit in the skit and ANYONE that knows REAL Detroiters knows the LOVE we have for our city. The worst was he started with a LONG speech. That lost the crowd. If he cut that down and did some jokes I think it would of been ALOT better.

  • Charlie Sheen: WEAK

by DickEd on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I was very disappointed with the show. It was poorly organized and executed. I didn't have any expectations before the show and I somehow seemed to leave the Fox Theatre extremely disappointed anyways. For the most part I was clueless as to what the actual point of being there was. Nor did I have any idea where the show was going. The worst part about it was the abrupt ending. No "thank-you", "good night", "thanks for coming out"... Just cue the house lights and music and start breaking down the stage. What a disappointment.

  • Forgettable

    by SRay19 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

From starting late, to being unorganized to the 10 minutes rants and rages it was horrible. It was boring, it was put together by a 2 year old. I think Mr. Sheen truly underestimated how hard we work for our money in Detroit. I was so disappointed. My husband and I actually left early. Charlie was not only obnoxious and cocky but a complet and udder bore. I would never see him again. What a waste of money.

  • Losing, not Winning.

by gladlerfox on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Before the show, everyone around me was excited, just as I was. The show was nothing that I expected it to be, or that was promised by Charlie Sheen. Rather than the heroic rebel I thought he was, he instead revealed himself to be a spoiled brat. I never booed him, yet I was robbed of the parts of his show that he refused to do because others were booing, including saying "goodbye" at the end. Then he had the audacity to produce an "I hate Detroit" poem at his next show in Chicago, I heard. I hope it was a misprint because that is the straw that breaks the camel's back. He completely changed his show for Chicago and then blamed Detroiters for their poor review of his show the previous night, which was extremely horrible. Snoop Dogg was not there as promised. "The TRUTH" was not there. Way too much senseless video. And his presidential monologue was indecipherable and painful to sit through. Humor poked it's head in about twice during the entire show. It was really sad, and I would have felt sorry for him, but instead I left angry. Angry that he did not fulfill his promises and angry that he insulted Detroit with "crack" remarks and a degrading population remark. I think he owes myself and Detroit a HUGE APOLOGY. A HUGE APOLOGY. Hopefully we will get it someday when he grows up.

  • Headlines correct

    by Umich1 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Charlie Sheen bombed in Detroit. At one point, I told my date that it was so bad that it "felt intentional." the crowd did not have it out for him from the star. Rather, he turned 5000 fans from a standing ovation to early departures. At the beginning of the show, the goddesses kissed each other- at which point I told my date "well that was worth $70 right there- the rest of this show is gravy. How little did I expect that I'd have to question those feelings by the end of the night. I hope he turns it around.

  • Charlie Sheen

by spikeman on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

If you haven't heard by now, it wasn't pretty. The opening act was bad and he got the evening started with rounds of boos. Charlie Sheen had a rehash of what we had seen on TV already, and nothing really new. Rumored/Expected extra guests never appeared, show ended early. People had too high an expectation, and the show didn't meet what expectations should have been.

  • Unstructured

by RNNZ on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

I had front row seats to this (Detroit), I enjoyed his videos he played. I didn't understand why he couldn't have done the 20/20 video live on stage. That would have been funnier than just watching it. The stage people weren't good at their jobs, they were really slow on everything, like rolling the video clips or what have you. I agree that the audience was HORRIBLE, I would have liked them to shut up so we could have heard what Charlie was going to say, but it just didn't happen. The opener comedian screwed the mood for everyone. He got booed so bad people were just pissed from that point on. Charlie should take responsibility for how poorly it was set up. Its great he revamped the show by firing the comedian, the rapper and doing a better job but don't blame Detroit for your show being horrible. We are Detroit if we don't like something, we will tell you. We work hard for our money. I think Charlie should come back to Detroit, for the people who had tickets that night, make up for it. Put on a better show for us. He owes us an apology. I would have supported Charlie to heck and back, but for that, he just looses my respect!

  • Charlie

by njoylife on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Started out with a comedian that was not funny at all. Got a little better at first when Charlie came out, then went downhill from there. People could not stay focused on what he was saying because it was just rambling and complaining about his bosses and life in general. Too bad because he is a millionare and it could have been great.

  • Pretty much what I expected

by Mitchka on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

I'm in the minority of thinking that the show was not that bad. Could he fine tune it and shorten segments up? Yes, but the audience never gave it a chance. I'm disappointed in my city. Detroit is a great concert crowd, but they were not present on Saturday. The booing started before the opening act comedian even delivered a joke. By the time Charlie came on they were worked into an angry mob. The first minutes were cheered, but it went downhill from there. I don't know what people were expecting. He asked if they wanted to hear crack stories and everyone said no! So, he didn't do it. He could have just told them anyway, I wanted to hear and so did many people around me who were annoyed by the hecklers. All in all, we got a show. Don't listen to all of the negative people. Seeing him live was still worth the money!

  • by Anonymous on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

I agree with Charlie that some booing fans created a hostile mob mentality environment that destroyed the show for everyone. I was not one of those fans. I wanted to see and hear whatever Charlie wanted to share. I feel cheated that I was not afforded the opportunity to do so. I wish there were a way to allow fans like myself an opportunity to see the show again.

  • Really, now?

by Carrrmen on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I can't believe there's actually an option to review this event. There really wasn't even an event. Detroit was very unwelcoming to absolutely everyone who performed. The opening comedian was booed and heckled before he even finished a joke, Charlie Sheen wasn't able to get a word in before the audience started heckling him. The show wasn't awful because of the performer, it was awful because of the obnoxious, drunken audience who apparently felt it was acceptable to drive the man that they paid money to see of the stage within 45 minutes of showtime. Thanks, Detroit. Thanks for ruining the expensive show for everyone who actually wanted to see it. Whether you booed or not, you're not getting your money back.

  • The trolls tried to kill it, but Charlie wins

    by agent5959 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

From the very opening, a handful of very loud and obnoxious hecklers did their best to destroy the show. The crowd decided to join in with the hecklers, but for those that were able to contain themselves, the show itself was phenomenal. It's unfortunate that people were so disrespectful.

  • worst show ever

by Anonymous on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

An absolute train wreck. Sheen had no clue what he was doing and the whole things felts like it was thrown together.

  • Sheen was a bomb

    by Malachi280 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

1st comedian was a joke his jokes were not funny and the one joke handed to him from off stage was timed so horrible that it lost everything Charlie then came on over 20 minutes later and put his brand new app on the fore front ok so you got an app, not impressed. His video from the 80s blew and it seemed like he was fed up because the crowd was telling him how bad the show was. Too many videos too much advertising because it was obvious tecante, gieco, pepsi, and nike all had sponsored this train wreck. It could have been funny it could of been an epic but it seems Chicago got the show and we got the torpedo oh well. Then the final performer a stereo typical white rapper with a gold chain and does cocaine are you kidding me, were the town of eminem and kid rock, he went over as well as Charlie asking the audience smoked crack.

  • terrible

    by bigdon22 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

This Charlie sheen show was the worst show I have ever witnessed. They need to give out a refund or something. You couldn't pay me to go sit through that again

  • by Anonymous on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

This event was terrible and everyone deserves a full refund. Paying this much to see such a terrible show is a crime.

  • Sheen is brilliant, Detroit crowd not so much

by Kentuckyguy on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

This was Sheens first show so he tried out different material. Some hit , but some missed. The Detroit crowd was impatient, loud and rude. He attempted his spoken word poetry. The trolls of Detroit couldn't comprehend any of it.They apparently like face value shallow entertainment. Sheen was a showman handled the situation great. He was warm friendly, brilliant, charming and funny. Detroit seemed like the kind of place that would have yelled and car called at a ballet or an opera. They all had short attention spans. The Warlock picked the wrong city to start his tour. I would recommend going to see his "Sheenius". He has opened his heart to America and deserves America to embrace him with open arms.

  • Not winning!!!

    by SuperDave78 on 4/4/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

What a trainwreck! No apparent plan, but the ramblings of a mental patient. I had high hopes, as I loved his TV and movie career. The show was summed up in the first 15 minutes. The crown went from a standing "O" to booing and jeering. His response, "I already got your money, you might as well listen!"
