About

Charli xcx is a pop singer-songwriter from Essex, United Kingdom. Born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, the artist grew a cult following with the release of her 2013 debut studio album True Romance. After releasing the single “SuperLove” in 2013, Charli’s commercial breakthrough arrived the following year with her sophomore LP Sucker (2014) featuring the single “Boom Clap,” which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and marked Charli’s highest-charting solo single to date. Ahead of the album’s release, the singer also collaborated with Iggy Azalea on the No. 1 hit “Fancy.” Further projects in Charli’s discography include the EP Vroom Vroom (2016), mixtapes Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 (both 2017) and studio albums Charli (2019), How I’m Feeling Now (2020) and Crash (2022). Charli’s sixth set, Brat, was released in June 2024.

  • Excellente

by Anti on 6/15/22Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

She put on a good show, the music was good, and she looked great. I was skeptical to go at first since I never heard much of her music, but after watching the show I felt like I made a good decision on going. Did I mention she's smoking hot? Well yeah, she was jaw dropping. Money well spent.

  • Great show, venue needs work

by DeanSailey on 5/2/22Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Thought the show was great, but the venue was A) incredibly stuffy and hot and B) an insane fire hazard after the show got out. Trying to push thousands of people all out the back of the venue and down the stairs was a nightmare.

  • Amazing performance

by Terrellian on 4/29/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

10/10 Charli is an amazing performer and put on an awesome and hyped show

  • Charli XCX is the Madonna of our times

by J Liner on 4/28/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic sound, set list, stage presence, set design, and typography. The dancers were stunning, and the opening acts complimented Charli's experimental and inclusive tendencies embedded in her dark and haunting pop music. I will make sure to see her each time she comes around.

  • It was a banger

by Fran on 4/27/22House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

  • Not providing access to water is unethical

by Musician/ Venue worker on 4/26/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

You need to provide access to drinking water at shows. Charging $6 for bottled water is unethical and creates an unsafe show environment where people can't afford to buy water when they are too drunk. Especially at a venue where water bottles aren't allowed and there is no re-entry, essentially trapping patrons without access to free water is extremely dangerous. I've worked at venues over 10 years and this is unacceptable.

  • INSANNEEEE

by ted on 4/26/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGH SHE IS EVERYTHINGGGGG SHE IS THE MOMENTTTTTT

  • Just ok

    by H. W. on 4/25/22Rating: 2 out of 5

The shows was ok. no live band and only 2 dancers!? Not sure if that worth $100+ floor ticket. The house of blue in Boston is a ghetto venue with the worst layout, you can barely see the performer if you are not 6’ or taller on the floor.

  • INSANE

by ouijadaddy on 4/25/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The best to ever do it if we are being honest. Energy, hype, detail. Insane.

  • Unmatched Energy

by LiveMusicLover on 4/25/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment Charli came onstage, the entire room was shaking. From the balcony to the center of the pit, you could feel the audience trying to match the energy onstage, shouting every word as the dancers gave us life. I’ve seen Charli before but this was easily her most polished, thought-through concert/tour. She played songs from several albums, making space for fan favorites and giving us life, performing choreography flawlessly, which was impressive considering she’s never danced at previous tours. Overall I wish I’d gone to both sold out nights in New York because one was not enough!

  • amazing

she literally slayed love her so much it was one of the best nights i ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Could not see

by Soph on 4/25/22House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

While the concert seemed great and Charlie sounded amazing, I could not see the stage. I watched from a monitor, unable to see behind the one row of people standing on the balcony. There was open seating in the box seats, but no room on the balcony. I would love to see Charlie again probably at a different location.

  • Such an underrated performer

by EG on 4/25/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Charli deserves a 4 hour set she has too much music and too much talent to give it all in 2 hours. She's one of the best dancers I have seen in a while and genuinely loves her fans and her crowd!

  • Awful staff and experience

by Jonathan on 4/25/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

I have been multiple times to the venue but never had an experience as bad as this one. Apparently, vapers and poppers were available at entrance and security did nothing about it. My friend fainted and the staff took over an hour to help us at the venue--no artist was playing at the time anyway! It was so disappointing and infuriating that we had to beg the venue staff for help and missed the show as well.

  • Exhaustingly Amazing

by Bri on 4/25/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was everything I wanted it to be and then some.

  • Great Moment

by Oh Yes on 4/25/22Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Charli was very entertaining, the trick about the boxes at Hammerstein Ballroom is that everyone jumps to the front of the box and if you don’t you can’t see! But I squeezed in and really got to appreciate the concert and the choreography. So much bombastic color!

  • Fantastic Show All Around!

by TJ on 4/24/22House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Charli XCX is only getting better with time! The CRASH Tour was phenomenal. She sounded amazing, her choreography was very impressive, the dancers were superb, and the visuals were so cool. The production was so well done, I would absolutely see her again. This tour show focused on the latest album with some of her old hits sprinkled in between.

  • Xcx CHARLI!!!

by Aaron on 4/22/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

She was amazing, loved her for so long now and finally got to see her. Set list was amazing. Energy out of this world, and the fans are incredible. Would 10/10 recommend and see here again.
