  • Celtic Tenors are beyond amazing!

by mariah42 on 3/20/12Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium At Marin Center - San RafaelRating: 5 out of 5

The Celtic Tenors have been together for 12 years, and have honed their act to perfection. I couldn't have asked for more. They have personality and are relaxed, and interact in a fun way with their audience. We loved their banter and jokes, and their voices soared to the heavens. It was pure joy listening to them, so much so that I choked with emotion as they performed "The Holy City" and "Danny Boy". This is music at its very best. The only negative thing is that it had to end! I could listen to them all day, and still not get enough of their talent!

My wife and I throughly enjoyed this show and enjoyed meeting two of the three tenors after the show. Can't wait until they return again.

The Celtic Tenors were very entertaining. I was impressed with the quality of their voices. Their diverse selection and variety of songs showed their broad range of vocal skills. The acuostics in the venue suited their performance.

We were delighted with the quality of the singing and selection of songs by The Celtic Tenors. They started on time and gave a very spirited performance through out the program.

This group was amazing. The voices truly beautiful. O Holy Night -- WOW. Could have done more traditional Celtic songs.

  • Disappointed.

    by Jumpin1 on 12/12/11Stiefel Theatre - SalinaRating: 1 out of 5

    1. I thought that the quality of singing was less than I expected, except for the tall, thin singer, who was excellent. 2. The selection of music was strange and in many cases outdated with too few traditional Irish songs. 3. It was the worst concert that I have heard by any group of Irish tenors. 4. I would not recommend paying to hear this group in concert.

It was an evening of joy for us. A great mix of music selections and delightfully presented. Invite them back again next year!!

  • Bring them back!

by BirminghamBrit on 12/12/10Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 4 out of 5

Danny Boy was amazing & when I heard them sing without mics, I wished they had sung all evening that way - the blended sound of their voices was so beautiful. The variety of music was excellent and a good mix of hand-clapping, seasonal, pop and Irish. I had expected more traditional Irish music, but was fine with their selection. I would definitely attend another performance of the group. Bring them back!

Very enjoyable evening. These gentlemen provide entertainment from many arenas. The blending of their voices was beautiful and the accompanying piano superb!

  • The Celtic Tenors are magical

by QVCgirl on 12/6/10Ryan Center - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

For those few hours, all my problems went away. All was well in the world. The most perfect harmony mixed with a little humor and story telling. They are fantastic. There is just nothing like a li ve performance. Our seats were great too. The final joy came from watching my friend have such a good time too. If only I could hold on to that feeling forever.

  • CELTIC TENORS

by Gwenith on 12/6/10Ryan Center - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

An unforgetable evening of delightfull music. They are wonderful, diverse and so very involved with their audience. Thank you for the opportunity for us to attend and bring our 90 year old mother (in a wheelchair) to a holiday event that was so exciting and upbeat for her to see and hear. There is so much going on in our world, it is rare to have the opportunity to enjoy this type of venue so close to home. URI was a great place. Let's do more! Again, Thank you and happy holidays to you and yours.

  • Celtic Tenors Rock!

by tomandtommyandjoyce on 12/6/10Ryan Center - KingstonRating: 4 out of 5

The Celtic Tenors were really terrific. We secured the tickets, but I was a bit uncertain about how listening to three guys singing without electric guitars and a stage show would be, but it was a very pleasant surprise. These guys were great entertainers, genuinely talented without the benefit of voice enhancement and synthesizers. It was a throwback to a day when people paid to listen to the quality of others' voices and the delivery of a good performance. Overall, it was a refreshing change from the usual ear splitting rock concert, and, again, an usually good, authentic performance by three incredibly talented people.

  • Celtic Tenors were rousing and personable!

    by KayLa52 on 12/6/10Ryan Center - KingstonRating: 4 out of 5

The Celtic Tenors show at the Ryan Center was most enjoyable. After opening with an Irish lilting ballad, the rest of the songs were well performed and well organized. The men themselves alternated in solos, repartee with the crowd, and introductions to the songs. Their pianist could have performed solo, so gorgeous was his accompaniment. It was mentioned that they usually play in a theatre-type setting, but nothing impaired their delivery.

  • Loved the Tenors!

by kathybmurphy on 12/6/10Ryan Center - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

The power of their voices filled the stadium. There were times when they didn't even use a microphone! It was a beautiful evening. I 'd love to see them again.

  • Awesome show

show was good but not all of the songs were celtic origin which was a little misleading from the name of the group

  • by Anonymous on 12/6/10Ryan Center - KingstonRating: 4 out of 5

Great show, one comment- could have used a few more Irish songs.

I went to this event more to be a driver for my parents and mother in law, but was not expecting to be too impressed. I was so wrong! I was so moved by the Celtic Tenors voices, songs and humor. This was a truly enjoyable experience.
