THE CELTIC TENORS
Touring Australia – 2019
When you put together three brilliant Tenor voices with natural Irish charm, singing spine-tingling Classical, Folk, Irish, Gaelic and Pop favourites in stacked three-part harmonies, then mix them up with quick witted banter, you have THE CELTIC TENORS.
The charismatic, globe-trotting trio are the most successful classical crossover artists ever to have come out of Ireland.
They just sing songs they love and they most certainly don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s all about the music, the harmonies and the fun.
Three unique solo voices, but when called upon – one tenor sound!
The Celtic Tenors will perform The Irish Songbook on their Australian and New Zealand tour with such classics as Finnegan’s Wake, In The Gloaming, Song For Ireland, Danny Boy, The Dutchman, Caledonia, You Raise Me Up and many more favourites.
With a polished international reputation and just over a million album sales world-wide, The Celtic Tenors offer something truly unique. The skill, range and ability of world-class tenors combined with the personality and fun of genuine Irish performers.
Great talents in a wonderful show of a variety of songs. Highly recommend
The concert was great. The venue is excellent. We had a great time and would do it again.
A very enjoyable evening. The tenors performed many great Irish classics, as well as many opera renditions. Their vocal range was excellent. Yes, I would recommend attending their concert. The venue, And acoustics, were excellent as always.
Great group of people, very talented, but most importantly, very personable.
Enjoyed the show. Easy to get tickets on line. Parking good. Seats good.
Expected more IRISH songs considering day before St. Pat's but the boys put on a great show and would see them again if got the chance! Their SetList was nicely varied across the board from familiar Irish tunes to Oprea to Josh Growgan!
The Celtic tenors are wonderful, talented, professional performers. They sing a variety of songs and keep the audience entertained
A really great performance, their voices are amazing. The show was a great mix of styles as they incorporated contemporary with classical, opera and even humor. their versions of "Danny Boy", "You Raise Me Up", "Time To Say Goodbye" and "Nessun Dorma" were show stoppers. The only reason I cant give this show a 5th star is because the price point of the seats was $10-$15 too high.
very enjoyable. Hope they will be returning for a 4th time
I bought tickets for this show for my mother. it was the perfect event, nice mix of music and comedy. the Tenors are a great event to enjoy with family..
celtic tenors are always entertaining and always enoy seing and hearing them
This was my third time to see/hear this group, and I will go again the next time they are here.
The Celtic Tenors were fun and had excellent music. Ronan Tynan sang excellently, as usual. However, his part of the program was too short. Second, we didn't pay the ticket price to hear Tynan's accompanist singing solos. The Tenors had a great deal of exciting energy and a mixed repertoire that was thoroughly enjoyable. Quality of music of both Tynan and the Tenors was excellent.
Ronan Tynan was upset with the sound system. Melody Tent did not provide a non static mike for him. He only sang a few songs. His voice is spectacular and he let us enjoy it ever so briefly Did not appreciate his pianist singing two songs Celtic Tenors did not stop for a moment with a nice variety of songs and getting the audience involved in their music. Would recommend them for any performance
Music was wonderful. Too bad thast the sound system did not operate properly. If the sound system was working correctly, I would have rated it 5 stars.
Feel bad, couldn't go because of the weather. Maybe next year, I know they were good because have gone before.
Great evening !! Both acts were constantly entertaining with no gaps !
The Celtic Tenors did a wonderful job, their rendition of Danny Boy with zero background music nor microphone was an awesome display of the human voice. A wonderful mix of culture, they sang Irish tunes, sang songs in Spanish and Italian. A Must see.
I enjoyed The Celtic Tenors. I loved their harmony and variety of musical selections.
What a great show! We enjoyed the mixture of the old standards along with the new songs. "Galileo" was particularly .
