Cats (NY) Tickets

I regret buying tickets for this show... I don't even know what the plot is - I think it's because I can't even understand what exactly the actors/actresses are singing. They singed great but I can't decipher the lyrics. This show was very disappointing because I actually really looked forward to a musical. A musical as in a show that actually has some lines in between the songs and some smooth transitions, but this show is just continuous singing and dancing. I couldn't tell which cat was which! I don't even know their names! It was just a talent show showing cat after cat. -_- It was seriously the most boring show I have ever been to. Even the people next to me were sleeping during the show. I seriously don't understand why this show is such a famous broadway musical.

The entire show appeared to be a serious of introductions of not particularly interesting cat characters with virtually no plot or character development and lots of singing and dancing about unknowns subject since even 13 rows back the words of the songs were incomprehensible. Didn't help that the main song was a direct reproduction of the main song from Phantom of the Opera. A total waste of time as far as I was concerned. Stunned that the audience thought it deserved a standing ovation.

Absolutely a good choise, I went to see that musical and I enjoined the time ! Very cool atmosfere and great music and dance. Absolutely to see for turist in NY to capture the best of Broadway and to keep in your country a memory of Broadway. You will remember that event for all the life and if you decide to go for a dinner in a good Steakhouse you have one just outside the theatre. Cheers

Amazing performers!! And that's all what was positive. Oh, you could bring drinks and food to your seat, also a plus. So here the other side: No live orchestra, only a small band so strings and horns came out of the synths, horrible! Glass of wine: 25$ .. Theatre had it's best days, hopelessly outdated. Small stage. Rude staff (get in liiiine!!! ..but that's in almost all of NY).

All people who visit NY should go to one Broadway show and this one is the best i´ve never seen. Incredible music and dance.

I last saw CATS on Broadway in the 80s. I had this opportunity to share this wonderful show with my son. He thoroughly enjoyed it, also.

So...Cats...yeah. Not a great show. The sound was bad. Vocals overrun by the music. Could not hear most of the lyrics. Cats in and of itself is a confusing story with no real plot or direction. It's almost like trying to herd a bunch of cats! There are characters introduced for no reason at all other than to sing another song and do a dance routine. The end is abrupt and completely telegraphed and expected. On the flip side, the cast is very talented and I can say I was at least partially entertained. I'm just glad I didn't spend the money to sit up close.

Finally got to see Cats! Loved it. Went with my daughter visiting from Florida.

First show that I went on Broadway, that don't ask for donation in the end.

This production eliminated most is Eliot's verse and what was spoken was poorly miked and whispered by breathless dancers. The choreography dominated the show-Martha Graham, Martha Graham, Martha Graham. And a nod to Lloyd Weber with the locomotive scene. And how many times need we hear a badly sung Memories. Sorry no one was Betty Buckley

Thoroughly enjoyed "Cats" NY. The actors were great! Our seats were in the Orchestra section and very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Amazing scenery and colors. Sometimes the musical is slowing down with the movements and music but still great. Good for all ages.

I have listened to the album off and on for 35 years and was finally able to see CATS live. It went beyond my expectations!

CATS was simply amazing. The cast was unbelievable and truly brought each character to life. It is a must see show!

Simply fabulous. Funny, beautiful, moving, original. We remained dreamy for hours after the show ended. Impossible not to love this incredible atmosphere. These artists can do absolutely everything! One word: bravo!!!

Cats, really simple drama but there is more deep something.

I saw Cats originally about 25 years ago and I just recently saw it again on 8/5/17 and it was just as amazing. It's a wonderful production and you really almost believe they are real cats on stage. This is a great show to see

wonderful show my mom says she would see it again and I love how they came around to the audience
