need to improve the dances, most of the dances were simuliar
This is an average musical. The actors and dancers were good. Songs where very forgettable. Sets where ok not very impressive (probably because of the small stage). The story draged alot but at least it was a little interesting. Does not have a good messege. The actors were great but the characters were also very tiresome (there are some exceptions). In conclusion if this is your first musical this is not the best to watch but if you get a good deal in tickets go and you will be entertained but not amazed.
This was my first musical experience and I must say that it was a great one! Catch me if you can had everything my girlfriend and I could ask for. The acting and singing was superb. Definitely a must see!
CMIYC is the most entertaining shows I have seen in quite a while. That includes Billy Elliot and Book of Mormon! The story is not deep, but the direction, set design, on-stage orchestra, and individual performances were first rate. I was not bowled over by the choreography, but it served the youthful fantasy that is the basis of the book.. This show does not purport to be an "important" theatrical event; it does however present two starkly contrasting characters, both of whom we can sympathize with.
This was a gift for my GF. She loves Broadway shows and has never seen this one. She wasn't very impressed. I'm not gonna say it was bad but I wouldn't see it again.
We loved the Show. And all agree Mr. Stephen Anthony is a new STAR on the Horizon.
I loved it. The musical numbers were fun and colorful. The cast is very strong and the lead role of Frank Jr is perfectly cast. I may just have to see it again!
me and wife enjoy musical first time and very satisfied at all.
With great dancing, costumes, and songs, "Catch me if you can" is not a show to miss! I wasn't familiar with the music going into the play, but it was written by an author whose film work I enjoy. I smiled my way though most of it, and had a thoroughly good time!
I thought this was a wonderful performance by all the acting was superb and the music was great.
I found the play to be entertaining, but very slow in some parts.
I enjoyed every moment of this musical. The music was great and the actors were top-notch. I loved the set design too.
This show was adorable- a little slow in places but thoroughly enjoyable. The cast worked very hard and each of the characters had their own song to 'bring home.'-- which they didn. Great show.
I got a half price ticket during a special so I can't complain but so much. The team that brought us Hairspray created this show. Not half as good. This is a non-equity tour so no names. Everything was ok but nothing was especially great either.
I'm a big musical fan, and was really looking forward to this show. However, I was not overwhelmed. In a musical, the songs are the thing, and to me, none of the songs were really knockouts. I can't recall a specific "wow" moment from the show, and I just saw it yesterday! The lead actor was terrific and has a tremendous voice, and I thought that the entire cast really worked hard, but I just wasn't enamored with the material.
Sorry to have missed this show on Broadway and was so happy when we saw it was coming to the Pantages in LA. This production was Great!!! Although not familiar with the cast, they were all amazing!!! Frank, Frank and Carl were exceptional.
The show was fast moving and fun. Loved the book and the music. Knew the story and still enjoyed the ride.
the best show that I seen so far, excellent performance
Great show! Fun romp through the 60's. If you loved the movie, you'll enjoy this show.
