Additionally, they have received numerous RIAA certifications: one RIAA 2x multi-Platinum® album, five RIAA Platinum albums, two RIAA Platinum DVDs, seven RIAA Gold® albums, four Gold DVDs, five RIAA Platinum singles, and 12 RIAA Gold digital singles. The band has also been honored with four American Music Awards, a GRAMMY Award® for their 2005 album Lifesong, and eight additional GRAMMY Award nominations. In addition, the group has garnered 18 GMA Dove Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and 13 total Billboard Music Award nominations.
Love this band and the messages they sing.They really care about the people stopped show for medical emergency and had everyone pray for person.They also gave up dates and skipped the compassion hand out but instead said there where tables in the lobby. Very christ centered concert.
I think they spend an excessive amount of time presenting Compassion International. But other than that it was very enjoyable.
Great concert as always. We saw the first concert of their 20Th Anniversary tour schedule in Albany NY last year on Sept 28, 2023. Format remains the same, still good to hear each of the members story of how they got involved with/in the band. Had VIP tickets at both shows including meet & greet the band plus extra perks.
The concert was amazing!! I enjoyed every minute of it. Worshiping with my christian believers was a wonderful experience.
I have seen casting crowns many times but this was the best concert ever. I liked the way they told all their history. The choice of songs was amazing. I can't wait to see them again.
The venue was nice though we sat in the balcony and it got very warm up there so much you need water to drink and wear light clothing. We were there for 3 hours the concert was nice though acoustics in the venue was not the greatest and was surprisingly not as good as we thought it would be looking at it from our seats. Parking was good and easy it was a Sunday so we didn't have to pay to park on the street.
I have been to quite a few concerts, but this one was different. The focus was truly on ministering to the body of Christ with encouragement, personal testimony, and worship. The team's primary ministry is already in serving in their church, and so it is just a natural outflow when on tour. What a blessing! They are a group of "nobody's", yet extremely gifted with their words and music. Certainly God has given them the giftings and energies to be able to do so much!
Excellent concert. Casting Crowns always does a phenomenal job. Enjoy the music and the message they convey.
I've been blessed to see Casting Crowns at various venues over the past seven or eight years. Each time, my sisters and I comment that THIS was the best show so far, but the concert this past weekend in Syracuse was powerful beyond measure. The band members from Mark on down are talented, humble, encouraging people whose love of God is tangible. Each time I hear them, a different lyric stands out for me. All of their music is Biblically grounded, so it's as though God wants me to focus on a different part of scripture each time. The message in all of their music resonates with all who are in attendance. No matter where you are in your walk in life, God loves you, and He wants you to know that. How amazing that we get to be reminded of it with such powerful and beautiful music! Thanks, Casting Crowns!
I didn’t know what to expect because I have not seen the Casting crowns before but what a wonderful surprise of a well put together event! The band is so gifted. I feel so blessed to be apart of that worship night!
It was a wonderful concert. Casting Crowns are extremely personable and down to earth individuals who put on an incredible show. All are very talented. Thank you!
The whole experience was amazing. Great songs and the stories kept you listening. I would suggest this concert to everyone especially those who are feeling lost. The songs bring you a greater understanding. I passed out do to an illness and they stopped the concert and checked on my wife and myself and prayed for me when I left in the ambulance. I will definitely attend more of their shows.
Absolutely the best night of fellowship and worship I have had in many years. Was great to be in a large venue full of God fearing people all singing some of the most awesome worship music!!
In a world filled with hopelessness and strife, the Casting Crowns band reminds us that our hope is in Jesus and that a life in Him leads to peace and joy for eternity! The music and stories were so uplifting and encouraging! The song lyrics are so powerful and meaningful and most certainly inspired by our Heavenly Father! What a blessing to be able to spend an evening with Casting Crowns!
The only negatives for me were venue related; the snackbar being cashless is inconvenient and extremely unorganized exit from the parking lot. But as for CC themselves, everything was perfect. Excellent 'show', inviting worship, awesome music. Would definitely see them again.
Never disappointed! They are wonderfully talented and humbly sincere!
It was a great concert. I felt that the orchestra took away from clearly hearing the words in some cases, and would have prefered to just listen to Casting Crowns but at least I got to go to the concert for which I was very thankful.
Casting Crown concert was great and happy to see the band. But we are disappointed with venue there is no middle aisle in orchestra area which is very hard to get in/put from your seat. The security was not good the line was so long and end up 45 minutes in the line to get in the theater. Not happy about that and the concert already started 15 minutes when we get in. I hope, Oncenter will do a better job with their security and physical set up of the theater.
I brought my husband Bryan to the concert for his birthday that happened to fall on this concert date. He was surprised and so filled with the Holy Spirit going in and out of the concert!!! We both enjoyed and loved hearing them live. We both host a Christian radio program called the Truth and play Casting Crowns often!!! What a fantastic opportunity seeing this band Thanks again for the message of our God and spreading it through out the world!!!!!
Fabulous concert! An amazing group of people living on purpose to spread the name of Jesus and his love for all people. The best Christian concert I have been to. Casting Crowns is a talented group of "real"people who are down to earth and perform without pretense. The venue was perfect, however the people in charge of the venue failed to plan for the number of people who attended. Doors opened too late and there was a line of people all the way around the building! The concert started with hundreds of people standing outside waiting to get in.
