Carly Rae Jepsen in Concert
After multi-platinum Grammy, Juno and Polaris Prize nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen released her critically acclaimed album E·MO·TION in 2015, it became "a modern touchstone for a new crop of pop-leaning artists and legacy acts," as NPR noted. The album also inspired an abundance of memes — extending the cultural cachet that Jepsen earned from the ubiquity of her GRAMMY® -nominated blockbuster hit "Call Me Maybe" (from her U.S debut album Kiss), which not only climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in over 47 countries, sold over 20 million singles worldwide, and was certified Diamond in the U.S., but was referenced by everyone from former secretary-of-state Colin Powell to Cookie Monster.
Jepsen's most recent album, 2019's Dedicated, retains the joyful, hook-filled feeling of its predecessor. But where E*MO*TION was an '80s-influenced synth-pop classic that Rolling Stone called "a pop masterclass" and Stereogum called "indisputable, unfuckwithable pop genius," Dedicated has a more '70s-inspired feel at times, though the album defies categorization as a whole, with Vulture stating, "Dedicated is both stranger and freer than the last record, but it also feels more confident and considered." Working with a crew of trusted songwriters and producers, among them John Hill, Jack Antonoff, Captain Cuts, Patrik Berger, and her longtime collaborator Tavish Crowe, Jepsen indulged in more sonic experimentation than she had in the past. Dedicated features the fan favorites "Party For One," "Now That I Found You," "No Drug Like Me" and "Julien."
Jepsen landed the lead role in the 2014 Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and later starred as the iconic Pink Lady, "Frenchy," in FOX's four-time EMMY award winning musical GREASE: LIVE. Jepsen voiced the character of Odette in the animated movie "LEAP!," which also featured Jepsen's song "Cut To The Feeling."

Following the release of Dedicated Jepsen embarked on a global tour playing to audiences at venues like the Arizona Federal Theatre in North America, as well as crowds in Japan, China, Australia, Canada and Europe. Jepsen will return to the U.S. later this year for performances at Coachella and Governor's Ball.
She dazzled us with her charisma and charm. She was actually a really great performer and sang very well! I knew she was good going into the concert, but she still impressed me a lot! And she is just so cute with what she says and does!
Ms. Jepsen was amazing! You can tell she poured her heart out as she was singing to the audience here in Anaheim. It was really cool how she had Fairground Saints and CardiKnox open for her. Another thing that I liked about her was how she gave an explaination of each song and how it started before she sang them. I can't wait for another Carly Rae Jepsen concert!! (:
The entire concert was open standing space, so getting there early was a huge plus! Solid opening performances and Carly was terrific! Would definitely recommend to a fried and am sad I was only able to make it to one of her shows for this tour. The venue was also really nice and well taken care of.
Carly Rae Jepsen was amazing at the House of Blues. Despite the small crowd, she gave it her best as it were a sold out stadium. Her energy was reflected by the crowd that sang along to all of her songs and moved energetically to the music.
Carly Rae Jepsen was so much fun live. She was adorable, had great crowd interactions and the songs sounded amazing live. She had the best pop album of 2015 and she was genuinely one of the funnest most enjoyable shows I've been to in years.
Carly Rae Jepsen was fantastic! She sounded great and put on a very high energy performance. Would recommend for those even only casually knowledgable of her music.

She plays her two hit songs only at the end of the concert. However, surprisingly most of her other songs were great!
If you get the chance to see this adorable girl live, TAKE IT! She's so much fun. I can't wait to see her again.
Call me maybe ? Well it's a poor first impression when you know what Carly Rae Jepsen can do ! Very amazing concert, good vibes and a singer very close to the public : even if The Venetian is a big theater, she achieved to make her concert like a little showcase.
This concert was ok, she seemed like a bubbly character with plenty of smiles. I don't think she was lip syncing but her voice and backing music, it was just like listening to her CD. It was disappointing after her set , she couldn't wait to get off stage and no encore song.

Carly Rae was incredible. Not only was her voice impeccable, she pretty much covered her whole new album. Her energy was great and the crowd felt it. An unbelievable night that I will never forget.
This concert was so much fun. I wish I could relive it over and over.

Carly is absolutely amazing! She puts on one of the best shows I've seen. She is so adorable and cares about the audience an her fans more than anything, which is rare in some artists. she's sweet and cute and the show reflects exactly that. Old fashioned an bubblegum pop make a good mix! confetti, balloons and an all around good time. even though there wasn't that big of a crowd at this show, I would watch her over and over again :)
Great show, pretty good seats. Loved the Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream at the concession stand.

I had a great time watching Carly at the Greek. My first time there. Easy parking. Smaller than Hollywood Bowl, more intimate. Hot Chelle Rae was amazing!
Amazing concert!! She was so good!! Always upbeat and felt like you were at a party with confetti everywhere! So much fun will see her again!!!
