Carla Morrison is on tour and bringing a new sound; however, the artist is no stranger to success and popularity. Morrison won Latin Grammy Awards and her first two full-length albums, Déjenme Llorar and Amor Supremo, were nominated for Grammys.
Morrison was born and raised in Tecate, Baja California, to Mexican parents, Porfiria Flores and Hilario Morrison. At age 17, Morrison moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to study music at Mesa Community College. Morrison released her first EP in 2009, titled Aprendiendo a Aprender, which was independently produced in a home studio. Her second EP, Mientras tú Dormías, was released in 2010 and produced by Natalia Lafourcade.
In March 2012, Morrison released her debut album Déjenme Llorar, which soared to success, reaching certified platinum status in Mexico and charting at No. 15 on Billboard's Top Latin Pop Albums chart.
A multi-talented artist, Morrison made her debut as an actress in 2015 as Laura in the romantic comedy film Ana Maria in Novela Land. Morrison has also produced holiday albums and reinvented her sound and lyrics on several occasions. Morrison seeks to bring authenticity and vulnerability to her audience, bringing them alongside her on her journey. Carla was wonderful and her opening acts. What was terrible was that the venue continued to let people in even when it was one hour before her performance. The doors opened at 6pm and at 9pm people were still filing in even though her opening acts were performing. Incredibly distracting having to move to let people into their seats. The show started at 8pm and that’s when the doors should had been shut.

She started the concert 1 hour & 30 minutes late, and basically sang all her new songs which made this concert a bit boring

We had GA tickets and we got in line at about 4 doors opened at 7 and show started at 8 and the performance was worth every second. REYNA the opening act was amazing too and appreciate their genuine comments and jokes. Carla is amazing and I have been a fan for years, she gave her all during the show and if you can believe it-her voice is even more beautiful in real life.

Was unable to go due to a personal emergency. No refund was issued which I understand but would've loved to be there and I'm sure she was great! Hopefully she will be in Sacramento soon!
