Cardi B In Concert
When Cardi B steps onstage, her presence is felt. It's in the army of dancers that flank her. It's in the chest-rattling bass that booms through the speakers. It's in her colorful nails, unfurling hair extensions, and sparkly couture. But more than anything, it's in her infectious personality, which emerges through fierce rhymes, lyrics that run heartfelt to hilarious, and filter-free banter that somehow paints her as both an icon of swagger, and a "regular degular shmegular girl from the Bronx," as she once put it. Starting with her runaway 2017 hit "Bodak Yellow" — the first rap song by a solo female artist to hit No. 1 in 20 years — Cardi B has been breaking records and collecting praise nonstop. She's done it as a guest on massive singles by Bruno Mars, G-Eazy, and Maroon 5, but more often on her own. Her 2018 debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy,' smashed a handful of glass ceilings in sales – making Cardi the first woman to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys, and spawning an international hit in the bilingual "I Like It." To call Cardi B a trendsetter or star doesn't do her justice. She's a force of nature.
Cardi B Background
Cardi B's background is just as important to her story as her successes. Her multicultural heritage, pronounced New Yawk accent, take-me-as-I-am attitude, and wealth of experience as a woman struggling to win against long odds are all essential elements of the personality that blares from her songs and shows. She was born in the Bronx to a Dominican dad and an Afro-Trinidadian mom. Money didn't flow, but music did. Young Cardi listened to innovative rap stylers like Missy Elliott alongside hardcore no-frills rhymers like Trina. But her own entry to music came after a few detours — she proudly owns her past as a stripper, and parlayed her fame as a viral Vine personality into a role on ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York.' But she wisely left reality TV to pursue music in 2016. After a couple of mildly buzzing mixtapes (the ‘Gangsta Bitch Music' series), she hit it big with "Bodak Yellow," a swaggering trap anthem that would be certified seven-times platinum by the end of 2018. That year skyrocketed Cardi onto tons of magazine covers, into collaborating with huge stars like Jennifer Lopez, appearing on ‘Saturday Night Live,' releasing her universally beloved first album, and breaking countless records both commercial and critical.

It won't let me give O starts so l'Il be nice and give 1. I waited about 4 hours for her to come on stage doors opened at 10pm concert didn't start till 1:30am all for her to literally sing only 5 songs. A lot of people were mad and leaving early because they were waiting too long for her to come on stage. The only highlight of the night was the fight that happened 3 rows ahead of me haha. Wouldn't go again tho, I was so sad because I LOVE mrs. Belcalis and this really made me so sad and disappointed. She said “got a bag and fixed me teeth hope you hoes know it ain’t cheap” well you know what else wasn’t cheap these damn tickets.
Other than being 3 hours late and performed only 30 minutes was very disappointing. I must say the DJ’s were phenomenal!!! They kept everyone happy and entertained. Offset was good. CardiB was great as well. I expected a little longer performance.
Cardi B must have forgot where she came from. Her DJ called us the ramen noodle section. Lol poverty. Even though balcony tickets were still 300 to 400 dollars each. She came on stage at 1:15 am. Left 2am. Not worth the money. Not worth the time. Not worth the energy. Tickets said 10pm. If i knew she was only going to perform for 45 minutes i would have never went. Lame.
It was supposed to start at 10..yet doors opened at 10 waited for 3 hrs for her to come out and offset . .didnt even performed an hr...worst concert and experience ever..very disappointing and alot of ppl were leaving mad and annoyed due to the long wait
The concert started at 10pm. Cardi didn’t show up until 1:30am. She performed for 15 mins and the concert ended. Disappointed in Cardi for doing her fans like this. The cheapest ticket to this event was $300.
I’ve never heard anybody lay down bars like Cardi - she was incredible at the Super Bowl Hall of Fame party last night! Her talent + her fun personality - she’s the best. Definitely want to see her again!
She gave out an performance like a true star, she knows how to work with the crowd and she meets the expectations.
Cardi is such an amazing performer, I cannot wait to see her live again
She interacted with the crowd, took her shoes off, threw her wig into the crowd, and her energy was high the whole night you can tell she loves to preform
Absolutely fabulous. Cardi is a Talented performer!!
The show was crazy good. Dont want to ruin it but she is worth seeing live. Even when the show ended after 2 hours she kept coming out and making more appearances in the crowd
Cardi B show at Wind Creek was amazing!! It wasn’t a long wait to get inside the venue and the show was great. Cardi had great energy and the concert was so much fun!
One of the best nights of my life. She was everything
The venue was small and intimate. It was def. A movie scene in there. Phones were not allowed to be used which I think was a positive aspect because we got To see Cardi B turnt all the way up!!! The tickets were more then affordable… and for a run through of her music def. Worth every penny!!!
Even though I wasn’t able to record. It was the most best experience I ever had. Cardi is one of the best!!!!
Amazing performance. From start to finish. Cardi preformed! The best part was there were no phones allowed so it made The experience that much better!
Amazimg show. Cardi's DJ performed for an hour and then Cardi performed for an hour. Her energy, PERFORMANCE and the crowds energy was THE BEST!!! SHE DID HER thanggg!!! Would recommend seeing her. Price for tickets was perfect. CARDI GANG!!!
Her energy on stage is unmatched I lived going to music midtown it was worth the money and wait ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love you Cardi
I saw Cardi last September and i didn’t expect her to come off stage and put out her hand for everyone to hold, i was in the pit and got to touch her hand twice and get a picture with her! I love her and can’t wait to see her again
