About

Cage the Elephant are a Grammy-winning rock band who formed in 2006. Originally hailing from Bowling Green, Kentucky, the group moved to London before sharing their self-titled debut in 2008. The band have released six studio albums that have all charted on the Billboard 200, including a career-best No. 2 debut for 2011’s Thank You, Happy Birthday. In total, Cage the Elephant have recorded 11 Top 20 singles on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart such as “Come a Little Closer,” and “Cigarette Daydreams.” Meanwhile, the group has logged two Hot 100 singles: 2008’s “Ain't No Rest for the Wicked," which has been RIAA-certified six-times platinum, and 2010’s “Shake Me Down.” Cage the Elephant won Best Rock Album at the Grammy Awards for 2015’s Tell Me I'm Pretty, then won the same category for their 2019 follow-up Social Cues. Since 2017, Cage the Elephant’s lineup has consisted of vocalist Matt Shultz, guitarist Brad Shultz, bassist Daniel Tichenor, drummer Jared Champion, guitarist Nick Bockrath and keyboardist Matthan Minster.

Cage the Elephant headed out on the Neon Pill Tour in June 2024. After kicking off at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah, the tour will cover much of North America through September 2024.

The 2024 North American Neon Pill Tour began on June 20 at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase three VIP package options for the Neon Pill Tour. VIP packages include perks such as:

    What an AMAZING show! They opened with Broken Boy and Matt Shultz was fire! I saw them at the Mann last year and Matt rocked it on his wheely scooter with an injured leg and that show was pretty great. THIS show was one of the best shows I've been to period. We had seats in a G-box at the Met and we were practically floating right above the stage, immersed in the best kind of energy. We did not stop singing, jumping and dancing all night. I'm always blown away by how many awesome songs Cage the Elephant has that are stand alone singles! The only song I was hoping for that they didn't perform at either Philly show was "Take it or Leave It". Hopefully next time. Amazing show, amazing night, sore feet the next day!! I love the Met and LOVE Cage the Elephant. Matt Shultz seems to be healthy and in a good place which also makes my heart happy.

    Cage the Elephant has left the cage behind; they ripped up the stage and exhilarated the crowds. We saw Cage the Elephant last year at the Mann Center in Philly; they were awesome then, but the Philly Met smoked that show. They were at the top of their performance game and crowd-rousing. A night to remember. This band transcends generations based on the crowd. How many bands can do that coming out of the starting gate? AWESOME, Transcending, Showmanship, Excitement, hope they come back with a new album in 2026.

    I have seen Cage 3 times and they are high energy and a great band to see live. Great set list! My only complaint would be, I wish the shows were a little longer. They have a great catalog of music and could play for two hours easily! Can’t wait for the next show!!!

    the concert was an amazing experience they put the BEST show on ever, cage is amazing to see in person. they know how to put a show on and interacted with the audience so much. I got floor tickets and there was some people tryna push their way through to the front making a scene but security handled it well and removed them but besides that I had an absolute blast I will definitely be buying tickets to see them again.

    This was my second time seeing Cage, and I've been to numerous different concerts. I have to say this performance took the cake for best ever. I got GA tickets in the pre-sale that were VERY reasonably priced! I was happy with the performance, the whole band had so much energy making it unforgettable. Must-see. I want to see them a third time for sure.
