Crazy energy and joy from Cab Ellis, who ignited the highly appreciative crowd with their fusion of rock, hip hop, and horns. Band members aren't afraid to circulate among the excited fans. Much tighter and crisper sounding than I anticipated after watching/hearing videos of several other performances. These guys are terrific players, and the horns (sax and trombone) add so much. But you can't take your eyes off the front man with his frantic (and sometimes spastic) movement. My only complaint might be that the lyrics were sometimes hard to understand, maybe because they come at the audience so furiously. Show lasted just under an hour, but the band had exhausted me by that point, especially with their encore number "East Coast Hold On."Would definitely see again. Would have bought a t-shirt if they carried my size.
