About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

  • Who cares about hit songs?!

    by Wednesday on 7/18/22Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 3 out of 5

Was so excited to see Caamp live and had all my hopes and dreams shattered when they didn't play any of their top songs. Out of their top five highest rated songs, they played two. All my bestie and I wanted to hear live was All the Debts I Owe, but the bros didn't deliver. They also didn't even play Vagabond or any popular songs of their newest album. Sigh. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll pay to see them live again. Next time I want to see a bunch of bros in their 20's get drunk and play mediocre music, I'll go to a college bar.

  • Literally the best concert I’ve ever been too!

    by Ethan_B on 7/12/22Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

We got front barricade and we had a blast! Got drumsticks and got to meet the main singer of Caamp, overall the best concert I’ve been too.

  • Great time at the Greek

    by Encinosteve on 7/12/22Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

We’re from out of town and Caamp was sold out at our local venue- I looked at where else they were playing on this tour and saw they were playing at the Greek theater, I had been here one other time over 10 years ago and had a great experience, so I decided to buy tickets. First time seeing Caamp and they surpassed my expectations, the venue was how I remembered it- great view from just about wherever you sit. We got there early and found a great spot in the lower level. Lines weren’t too bad for drinks, and the staff was quick and friendly. Overall we had a blast and it was a very memorable time. Wish we had a venue comparable to the Greek Theater.

  • Amazing live

This was a fun and entertaining concert. Both bands were great live and played and awesome show.

Caamp we’re amazing! The show was just a perfect summer concert at the Greek! Amazing songs and live show. Highly recommend checking out Caamp live!

  • Excellent night! Great venue, awesome band

by Nick on 7/9/22Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

First time to the Greek Theater. It didn’t disappoint! Honestly it was easy to park, easy to access, food was good, drinks were plentiful. Of course you pay more than you would like, but it’s convenient. Took the whole family, loved the outdoor venue. Everyone loved the concert!

  • Foot stomping good time!!

by Maggie on 7/9/22Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Such a good show! Great energy from the band and crowd. They played so many of their hits and gave an amazing performance. Can’t wait to see them again!

  • Wonderful!

by Charlotte on 7/9/22Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

It was great to see this wonderful band in person! They were perfect. Slight beef: I wish the Greek Theatre's sound system had been sharper. The sound was a little muffled.

  • Great show

    by Coachbaker9 on 7/9/22Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Caamp were outstanding. Played pretty much any song I was hoping to hear and they sounded amazing. Go see them! We also enjoyed Heartless Bastards who opened the show. The Greek is a beautiful venue and has great sound quality.

  • More bass

by Shannon on 2/18/22GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was good but one of my favorite things about this venue is how you can really feel the music. It’s general admission, you’re close to the stage, and you can really feel every beat of the music. Except you couldn’t. There was no bass. So many of the songs and the whole experience would have been improved with a better sound system.

  • GREAT show and venue! COVID protocols... not so much

by Tony B on 2/18/22GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

AMAZING show and venue! However, having to show printed vax card or negative covid test results not cool at all. The government has supplied covid tests which would imply they are approved, valid, reliable, etc. so they should suffice; so should a picture of a vax card as long as the name on the card matches your ID. eTickets are good but... it doesn't make any sense. Except for when you realize it's the money grab of partnering with someone on-site to provide testing for $45.00 is likely behind the "policy". Lastly, cards or test results were checked outside in the dark and the date and name on the printed test result wasn't even verified; even if it were it'd be just as easy to fake as a home test or image of a vax card.

  • Live Show was Meh

by Brian on 2/18/22GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 3 out of 5

Love the band and music. I was really excited to see them live but it was just an okay show. Also, GLC Live in GR is not a great venue so that didn’t help.

  • First time at 20 Monroe

by Jethro on 2/18/22GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

First time at this venue and it was also the first time I saw Caamp. Both the band and the venue were outstanding and we really enjoyed ourselves

  • Caamp puts on a show!

by Kylisco on 12/30/21The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Caamp is an amazing band! Must see live. They are fantastic musicians.

  • Disappointing

by Anne on 12/18/21State Theatre - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

The sound quality was horrible. Not sure if it was the band or the venue - but the venue is one of my favorites and we’ve seen multiple great shows there without any concern. It was pretty disappointing because we like Camp’s music but overall I would say just a so so show.

  • The lead singer looked either sick or hungover..

There to many breaks. In between songs ..no interaction with fans. Kinda just boring as ....
