Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.
Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.
Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.
Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

Caamp did not disappoint! The band was energetic and the audience seemed to eat it up! Madi Diaz was fantastic as well! My only complaint was the acoustics in the theatre. Fortunately, I knew most of Caamp's songs so I could understand their lyrics but it was very difficult to understand otherwise. Would love to see this corrected for future events.
We are big caamp fans. The venue was good and the staff was quick and thorough upon entering. Caamp seemed a little tired as the singer quoted he was hanging on by a thread due to it being his last stop on the tours. Totally get it. Lots of waiting in between songs. Not like the other Caamp concerts we have been to. REST UP CAAMP!
Caamp was amazing and the state theatre was a great venue! Efficient vaccination/negative test check-in and ticket scanning. Bathrooms were clean and drinks were reasonable. Will definitely be going back!
Great show! Great venue! Great people! Small Venue to see a show but has a great atmosphere. Everyone that worked there was Polite and courteous.
The show was great! The opening act was amazing. The venue was very hot. The band actually took their shirts off for the encore. In the day of electronic tickets, more information should be present on the ticket like when the doors open and what time the show starts at.
It must have been almost 90 at our box seats! Even the band was complaining that they were too hot. At the encore they come out without their shirts in protest. Seriously house of blues ??? blows some cool air in already. Great band…lousy venue
Show was awesome. Packed house. Love it! Covid is over and everyone is happy to celebrate!
I love Caamp's music and have seen them live before, so I was shocked and disappointed at this show. They didn't interact with the crowd at all, and it was a big bummer because I know what they're like normally and this felt way off. The anthem is a great venue, and the crowd was hype. I hope the band is all okay, and fingers crossed it was just an off night?
I missed this show because when we arrived in the area 30 minutes before doors there was literally no parking with in half mile radius. The Wharf garages were all full. Since I don’t know the neighborhoods (which are mostly zone parking anyway) I wasn’t comfortable parking farther away. After 45 minutes of circling in gridlock traffic around ride share drop offs and construction we gave up. It will have to be a very special event to make me come back to the Anthem again on a weekend night.
The Caamp show was amazing! Good sized venue and the band was awesome. I love these guys. We had tickets to see them in Baltimore in March 2020, rescheduled for that summer and ultimately canceled due to Covid. It was a long almost two-year wait, but we’ll worth it. I can’t wait to see them again.
BEST CONCERT EVERRRRR!! Amazing event and even better music
1st indoor show since Covid- Opening act was fabulous Madi has some pipes - She carried the room for sure !! CAAMP - been waiting a while to see them- fabulous as well!! Sold out show everyone vaxed Felt safe and had a great Friday night of live music!!
The process of getting vaccine card checked, getting into the venue, checking my coat and retrieving it was unbelievably smooth. I was really impressed. And not surprisingly, the band was fantastic.
We had our vaccination status checked before the doors opened - thanks, booth and Bindle! When doors did open, we had zero wait to get in to the venue! Quick dash to the merch stand, refreshment booth, and we made our way to the front of the floor where we made friends and danced all night. It was our first time seeing CAAMP live and they sounded awesome!! Can't wait to see them again! Special shoutout to The Anthem for hosting a smooth event filled with like-minded people.
Very roomy. Lots of bar/bathroom access. Very nice. Acoustics are great, however, they were almost too good. Had a hard time with lyrics at times. This issue is probably due more to Caamp sound crew not correctly adjusting. Wanted to point that out for future shows. Opening act mic was also too much. Sounded like they were amped for an outdoor concert.
Such a great show!! Flew from ATL to DC. Caamp were amazing, so talented. The Anthem is a such a cool venue on the Wharf. Will def be back for more shows.
My husband and I had a great time. Great venue and love the layout. We enjoyed the outside area by the firepits.
Felt very safe and it was set up very well! I enjoyed the good atmosphere
Great show! Excellent venue!!!! Great intro to live music for my nieces
