About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

I had never seen Trampled by Turtles or Caamp before, but have listened to them for a long time. I would go see them both anytime they came to town! I would love to see Trampled by Turtles in a smaller, more intimate setting. Both are amazing musicians for sure!!!

I love these guys. Awesome show and awesome bands before they came on as well. Their inner ears went out when they came to the center stage, but they still played great, knowing that they could hear the instruments or their voices. Absolute legends. šŸ¤šŸ’œšŸŖ•

I bought these tickets because my wife loves Caamp. I’m not a big fan. However, this show was fantastic. I can’t say enough of how good they sound and how much they connected with the audience. Just awesome. Glad we went

The venue was beautiful!! Their bathroom situation is UNMATCHED. Literally no line at the end of the show as everyone was mass exiting the venue. Clean and the workers were SO PLEASANT. Sound was amazing. CAAMP was unbelievable. I felt super safe and comfortable there. Looking to return.

I loved every second being here. Both Caamp and their opening Speaking Suns put on a remarkable show. Caamp is known for a different set list every night so my advice is enjoy whatever songs they play. Sometimes they will play their bigger hits, sometimes they don’t. Just enjoy the concert. Also, don’t take it personal if you find they don’t interact with the crowd as much, it’s just the way they are. I had plenty of room down in front row, I’m 5 foot 2 so front row was perfect for me. If you’re lucky, you may get a guitar pick! Overall, a really great night. The sound was good, the staff and crew were incredibly nice and were quick to help in anyway.

  • Caamp Rocked

by Kwaddle on 8/29/22Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Bands were great. Sound was fantastic. The 100 plus people in line for each food truck deterred us from even trying. Beer being served was old and tasted that way. Otherwise a fantastic time.

  • Best band out there

    by Il_go_crazy on 8/29/22Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I went to the show very early to get my record signed. Security was amazing and gave me water. Eventually they said thw band would come out and sign for me and to wait 45 minutes. It ended up torrentially downpouring. I had to seek cover and never got it signed ;( the bands eventually played and they put on one heck of a show I was front row. Security was k8nd to pass me Taylors stick from my favourite song!

  • Rocking in the Rain

by Abigail on 8/29/22Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

Caamp is the best. Bahamas is awesome. The venue was great. My only criticism was the fact that ticket holders were not contacted about the rain/weather delay -- we found out through a friend who was also attending the show after she checked the venue's social media story. I checked Facebook, and I checked the website, but the only place the delay was mentioned was in TP's (long) Instagram Story. We had a great time at the show, and everything worked out, but I wish we had gotten more info from the venue!

  • Great! needs more service to outdoor AC if possible

My group was very hot and didn’t get service to it.

  • A-ma-zing

CAAMP & Future Birds was an amazing show! All around good vibes & spectacular views of the garden, sunset, and main stage. The seating situation got a little hectic with people crowding areas that were already full. But other than that, 10/10!

  • Our group had a blast!

by Rob G on 7/29/22Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Our friends-and-family group thoroughly enjoyed the concert, despite the intense heat. Caamp was great, the warm-up band was also excellent. The venue is super. All on our blankets, age range 3-66, had a wonderful ā€œCaamp-outā€ at Outlaw Field!
