About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

  • Great venue, too much from the new album

by EBC on 6/8/25The Salt Shed Outdoors (Fairgrounds) - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed the Caamp show, but not as much as previous shows. Blind Pilot was great joining the band. There were several hits I wish they played.

  • Can’t hear well in the dark

by Break The Dawn on 6/6/25Stifel Theatre - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

The show started but we kept waiting for the stage to light up. Seemed like a slow burn that just never caught fire! The tunes were spot on and the energy was good but the spotlights came from BEHIND each member, leaving their audience facing side in the dark. I think they were going for a vibe but I could hear others around us talking and no one enjoyed watching a dark show! I love to watch musicians play their instruments and see them react to the music they make, that’s why I usually love live shows. Otherwise, I’d stay home and listen to my vinyl, on my living room floor, drinking a $2 drink, not a $16 drink, with a $75 ticket. I really hope Caamp reconsiders future tours and lights the stage, at least to the point that the audience can see a show, not just hear it.

  • Shadows

    by AMO-STL-123! on 6/6/25Stifel Theatre - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

Caamp did their entire show with the lights pointed from top & behind them. So they were in shadows the entire time. We were never able to see them. So odd and not really enjoyable.

  • Fun show!

by Adeline on 6/3/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw Caamp on 6/1 in Dallas. It was great. They always play a good show and even played my favorite song, No Sleep. If you haven't seen them live you need to. Cant wait for next time.

  • Amazing show!

by CP on 6/2/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

The Moody Amp venue was easy access, great seats, good restrooms (maybe could use a few more), great drinks! CAAMP played a great, long show. There were so many more songs I would've loved to hear. It left us wanting more. Loved the cover, the solos, the sit-down songs and the jamming out! It was a sweaty night, but so much fun!

  • Good times

by Pati on 6/2/25Rating: 4 out of 5

I went to see Caamp last night with some friends at The Bomb Factory in Dallas. It was a fun show. My only reason for 4 stars is because I wanted to see a little more energy out of them. Overall I would recommend and would go back again.

  • Great show!

Great performance by Caamp. Love their down to earth stage presence.

  • Slightly disappointed

by Big Fan on 6/1/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 3 out of 5

I absolutely love this band. For it being their first show of the tour, I thought they would have more energy. They skipped several of their major songs and barely did an encore. They sounded amazing on the songs they did sing, but the whole vibe was a bit lackluster

  • Incredible Music

by Caitlin on 6/1/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw Caamp for their opening night in Austin, Texas at Moody Amphitheater. The sound was incredible! Awesome setlist. Lead singer did make a few comments on occasion and would walk off leaving his band hanging for a bit. Hoping Taylor got the help he needed to make it through the 2025 tours! Hope nothing but the best for them as their music is one of a kind.

  • Lawn over sold

by Lawn gnome on 6/1/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was good. Music was great. I know the band and venue needs to make money but you sell so many lawn tickets that it becomes completely impossible to get in and owt of the lawn.

  • Highlight of my summer

    by Mickala*Sjulin on 11/18/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This summer I saw Caamp at both the “Under the Big Sky” Festival in White Fish, MT, then at Red Rocks! Both concerts were an absolute dream! Caamp brought that vibe that just pulls you in….and as the music started flowing and Taylor’s raspy voice hit the atmosphere , it was all transformed into something majestic. 🩷

  • Disappointing

by SDog on 9/8/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

I’ll start off by saying I have loved Caamp for years, and have seen them live 2 times before this and have had amazing experiences. Once was even in the pouring rain at Thompson’s Point, and they were still incredible. They engaged with the crowd, played a great set list, and seemed genuinely grateful to be there. This concert was a completely different experience. The concert started on a bad note when they told the crowd to stop chanting or they’d “trash the set list”. The proceeded to put on a mediocre show, playing a strange mix of songs, barely putting any life into it. The sound was awful-the base was so high, you could not hear the vocals. They just seemed so uninterested in being there. They played for only a hour an 20 minutes and the show ended with then abruptly walking off stage-no thank you to the sold out crowd for showing up, no thank you to their loyal fans, nothing at all. Everyone was so confused, we didn’t even realize the show was over. Overall very disappointed, wish I could get my money back for the tickets that were more expensive than in previous years.

  • Amazing

by Justin on 9/8/23Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was basically the first to arrive, 4 hours before doors. I got to meet Evan Westfall and get a selfie with him because he was walking up the mall in Charlottesville looking for Taylor who was already out somewhere up the street from me. The concert was amazing, my first Caamp concert. I was on the rail right up front. After they finished, Evan got the security guard to give me the pick he was playing with. It was a very special concert for me. I had also been waiting over a year for them to be close enough to me, to go see them live. They didn't disappoint.

  • Mailed it in

by Frankly on 9/8/23Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The Caamp songs were good, but there was little concert magic. They played like a band covering Caamp’s songs. Nice night out in a relaxed environment, but the band gave an average performance.

  • Kinda short

by Jimmy on 9/8/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

I saw these guys last year and had a great time. This year less so, the set was short, the songs they played were less well known and that venue (thompsons point) keeps the volume low, probably due to a noise ordinance or something. So overall a nice night out but for $60+ per ticket plus $40 to park they could have played longer and louder

  • Major letdown

by RA on 9/8/23Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 1 out of 5

I love Caamp’s music. I started listening to them in 2020 and had been waiting for them to come to Charlottesville. The music was okay, but I might as well have been listening to an album. There was zero interaction with the crowd. No hello, nothing between songs, nothing. You could hardly see the band, because lights were pointed towards the crowd. It felt like the band took the stage with disdain for the audience and nothing changed over the course of the first hour. I have never left a concert before and never thought I would, especially when a band I love is playing. I headed home early and never looked back. It does appear the band canceled rest of the 2023 tour due to health issues. I wish them the best in getting back to 100% and hope they find joy in performing down the road. Caamp fans pay hard earned money to see them play and deserve better. I hope to give the next one 5 stars.

  • Worst performance I’ve ever seen

by Izzy on 9/7/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 1 out of 5

Incredibly disappointing, all the anticipation and build up of having these tickets for a while only to have the shortest sloppiest performance put on.

  • Was the volume knob broken?

by Ian on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 2 out of 5

Love Caamp’s music, I’m fact it’s my go to. This concert sucked. I could tell they were enjoying themselves on stage, but the show was so quiet, the sound system in my RAV4 could have given me a better listening experience. Not sure if there’s a sound ordinance in Portland for Sunday night concerts, but what a bummer either way. I was very disappointed that night.

  • Only an hour long performance. Weird covers.

by JojoBeats on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 2 out of 5

First time seeing Caamp. Felt like it was a waste. They only played for one hour and the songs they did play were rushed and without feeling. This was my first bad concert since the 90s so I definitely have been taking great performances for granted. Wasn’t worth the money and effort to get there at all. Too bad
