About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

  • Great concert, terrible attendees

by Kev on 7/20/25Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

We loved the Caamp concert. It was great, the music, the venue, the beer. The Greek Theater is a nice venue. However, the people and seat made us not want to attend another. We weren't close to the venue, i'd say about halfway up the seats. We purposely get those seats to sit and relax. The people in front row of our section decided to stand the entire concert. They were in direct line of site so we didn't actually see the concert except for the TV screens. I recommend having a seating required section, a seating/standing optional section, and a standing section. This would optimize the ability for everyone to see. We could not move seats and the venue did not intervene. Multiple people in our seats/rows were disgruntled for the same reason.

  • Less than impressed 👎🏼

by Jam on 7/19/25Rating: 1 out of 5

Concert review of Camp - my husband loves Caamp's music but the concert was disappointing. It felt like like a glorified radio playlist. There was no interactions with the crowd. No talking about the songs or some background about how the songs developed. I was bored. We over paid. Wish they would give us tickets to another show to redeem our experience.

  • Felt Like Two Performances

by Chris on 7/19/25Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

The first half was low energy. No crowd interaction. Just Spotify on shuffle. Second half was faster. A couple guest performances. Taylor even walked through the crowd when he sang By and By. Wish the whole concert could have been more like this. It was my first concert of theirs, so not sure if this is normal from them or just an off night.

  • Just Ok

by Chris on 7/19/25Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Great music. Great sound. Two complaints: there was nothing in between songs, it felt like I was listening to them on Spotify. And the whole first half was there slower songs making it feel like musical Xanax.

  • Incredible

by SunnyJ on 7/1/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Quite possibly one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The music, the vibes, the band. It felt like pure magic to be there. I often reflect back to that night just to ride the waves of musical magic that were performed.

  • Awesome venue

by Cre on 6/24/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Anthem was clean, organized and the staff seemed genuinely interested in making sure everyone had a good time and stayed safe and hydrated. Sound and lights were great. Caamp was very good though I was mildly disappointed they weren’t able to fit all my favorites on their set list.

  • Not enough folk

by Folk on 6/24/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

They played a lot more rock songs than folk songs. No by and by or lavender girl. I understand favoring a new album and new music, but caamps sound is folky and granola which is what I came to see

  • I love CAAMP with all my heart!

by TLC on 6/24/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

They were amazing! Taylor’s voice is unmatched, smoky heaven! The lighting was crummy during parts. I want to see the band not shadows of the band, the floor, or the highlighted sound equipment, but the music, vocals, and energy were superb! I look forward to hearing and seeing them again (and again and again)! Nothing but love!

  • Absolutely Amazing

by Chase on 6/24/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Would recommend to anybody.

  • Not what I expected

by Virginia on 6/23/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

Fridays show sounds like the group was less interactive with the crowd. Felt like I was just listening to Caamp Radio on Spotify. I wish they would have played more of their recognizable songs on Fridays.

  • So much talent

by Emily on 6/23/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Had an amazing time seeing Caamp this past Friday night. The entire band is so talented and I appreciated that they played some of their older/less popular songs. Wish I got to hear By and By live, but I will settle with 26. Thank you, Caamp, for coming to DC and putting on an amazing show!!!! You all rocked it!!

  • Awesome show!!

by Dr Nick on 6/18/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Such an amazing show and a wonderful way to spend Father’s Day. Perfect set of songs!! The duet with Bebe Stockwell was beautiful!

  • Lackluster

by Pez on 6/17/25Rating: 2 out of 5

We were really looking forward to this show, but honestly left disappointed. There was no crowd engagement, awkward pauses, and the vocals were hard to hear throughout. The set didn’t have any flow or emotional arc—it felt like a shuffle playlist with no sense of connection or performance energy. For the price of the tickets, we expected something far more immersive and intentional. Disappointed.

  • So good!

by Kandice on 6/10/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw camp last week on the first of the month in Dallas. It was so good! They keep me singing and on the edge of my seat. Their music connects me to certain events in my life and its a joy to reflect on those moments. I cant wait to see them again

  • Short Set, Low Energy,

by Kevbo on 6/10/25The Salt Shed Outdoors (Fairgrounds) - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

I’m a big fan of Caamp, but this show was a huge disappointment. The prior night in Chicago they played a lot of their hits and played a standard show. Friday night was low energy, barely any hits, and a show under an hour and a half. It felt like they couldn’t wait to get out of there. Their encore was one song and it was a CCR cover. Such a bummer. For what tickets cost these days, fans deserve more. Totally let down by a band who seems to no longer care about their fans. Think twice before slending big bucks.

  • Meh

by Game Seven on 6/9/25The Salt Shed Outdoors (Fairgrounds) - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Love Caamp. Went with a group of 8. When the show ended around 9:30pm, we all looked at each other confused. They had a lot more in their catalogue to play. They played more the night before. It sucks because the show wasn't bad up to that point, but I left feeling like I overpaid for what was played. Play the new album at the very least. Show was a bit of a let down.

  • Great music, excellent venue, inattentive audience

by Music Fan on 6/8/25The Salt Shed Outdoors (Fairgrounds) - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The bands were EXCELLENT -- Caamp played a magnificent set. The venue had every amenity one could hope for. All the workers were super friendly and helpful. My only "complaint"is regarding the privileged and inattentive members of the audience. There was *nowhere* to go and avoid loud conversations in the crowd. Even when Taylor, the frontman of Caamp, was sharing about his experience over the last couple years, people seemed completely indifferent about the actual humans on the stage in front of us. They just kept talking. It's a bummer, because they could've stayed home and talked over the album without the inconvenience of a live band interrupting them. Concert etiquette should be a prerequisite.

  • Caamp is simply amazing

by Missy on 6/8/25The Salt Shed Outdoors (Fairgrounds) - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

They put on an amazing show. Never disappoint. However, people need to learn not to talk during a show. I could barely hear the band because literally everyone around us was having full blown conversations the ENTIRE show.

  • Interesting

by Sladestmay on 6/8/25The Salt Shed Outdoors (Fairgrounds) - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

First half sounded like I was listening to their album, second have was great. Everything in between was interesting . Lots of down time between songs they didn’t ever seem to be in sync. They are one of my favorite bands but didn’t think they were great live. Third time I’ve seen them and was expecting them to be much better! They seem to be having some internal struggles! Had a great time tho!

  • Great Experience

Caamp was awesome - venue top-notch! City backdrop was beautiful
