About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

  • caamp was outstanding but...

Great venue but thompson point is simply too small for the number of people admitted. Sold out concert crowds can be pretty obnoxious.

  • Shortest set ever at Thompson point

A very disappointing low energy show that ended very quickly..didn’t really seem to care and felt money driven. Won’t ever see them again

  • Almost…

Love this band and was so excited to see them again. The music is amazing (highly recommend) and the performance was a little lacking. It seemed like an off night - like they weren’t that excited to play. They also only played an hour and fifteen minutes. It took the audience a while to realize it was over because the end was so abrupt and short.

  • First CAAMP show

    by Caamp 9/3/2023 on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

This was our first time seeing CAAMP. We very pumped because of friends who had seen them in the past told us what great show they put on. We've seen many, many concerts over the years some really really excellent some not so much. This one I'm afraid falls into the latter category. The music it self was really good but the time frame was wayyy shorter than expected maybe an hour but really probably less which kinda sucks when you pay that much for tickets., and there was definitely something off with the lead singer Taylor. Right from the beginning when he Reprimanded the crowd for "chanting"threatening to tear up the set list then totally giving the crowd his back. NO TAYLOR NOT COOL! It even seemed like the rest of the band was taken aback by his odd actions (throwing the guitar across the stage at one point and the last song where he threw the drumsticks and I mean threw them hard and just walked off back stage) yeah...really torn on whether to give them another chance. Probably will but......we'll see

  • Tantrums and high hopes

by The Disappointed Otter on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 2 out of 5

I was so excited to go see one of my favorite artists at a beautiful venue! But the night started off with bad vibes. Some people in the crowd near the stage were chanting and Taylor said “We’ve got a great lineup tonight, but if you keep chanting I’ll throw it in the trash.” My friends and I were baffled that he said that. Like those people are stoked to see you dude… why do you have to say that. I couldn’t imagine any other artist saying that to their fans. It was also weird that he threw his guitar and drums sticks in a tantrum kind of manner. The set was also pretty short, like maybe an hour long. The songs they played were also kind of their unpopular songs. I think there were a couple covers in there too. Overall, Taylor acted like a child and the crowd was disappointed. Never meet your hero’s….

  • I wish I didn't go

by Spamula on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 1 out of 5

I had seen them at Red Rocks and they were absolutely amazing. This show was off, short, the venue although beautiful was not run well. I spent longer in the parking lot trying to get out of there then the length of the show. Parking was super expensive for Maine $40. It was alot of money and not worth it overall. I wish I had kept my wonderful memories of the Oct Red Rocks show and stayed home. It was alot of money for me.

  • Expected more

by RachelB on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was wonderful, food options a plenty. The show itself was hard to hear and the band didn’t really seem to be enjoying themselves.

  • 1 hr long concert, wrong lyrics, mystery songs and covers

by disappointed fan on 9/6/23Thompson's Point - PortlandRating: 1 out of 5

Super bummed with how terrible this concert was. Main singer was visibly drunk, with all the breaks and walk off stage's he took the concert was maybe 45 minutes all together. Band had a terrible attitude, didnt engage with crowd at all, only to yell at the audience for chanting. Not worth the money, these guys were a bunch of losers.

  • Ok, but not super engaging

by Mira on 8/29/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The show was overall ok, but there were no compelling visuals (they didn't move very much on stage or have any particularly interesting production) and they played a lot of songs that no one seemed to know so the crowd was not as engaged as I would expect. They didn't play "all the debts I owe"which was the song I came to see and I normally wouldn't be that bothered by it except that it's one of their most popular songs. I think leaving super popular songs off the setlist was a bit of a mistake. Overall I wasn't that impressed with the setlist they chose or the performance.

  • Amazing show

by JW on 8/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Loved seeing Caamp at Massey Hall, both nights were incredible!!

  • Just amazing

    by H. Horseradish on 8/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Massey Hall is an incredible venue and caamp was the perfect band to see there. They play so well and don’t parrot exactly what you get on the album. The band switched instruments at one point which was really fun and cool. The show was playful and beautiful and the sound was incredible. The lights and staging couldn’t have been more romantic and dynamic. Lines were so long for merch we gave up in favour of not missing any of the show but the merch was cool too and the opener was 10/10.

  • Awesome Concert

by ARaff on 8/1/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Caamp is making a name for themselves as a Headlining band. I saw them last year when they opened for the Lumineers and both bands were incredible. Caamp said they have some new music coming soon so I hope they are local next year.

by New Fan on 7/30/23Rating: 5 out of 5

you know you have seen a GREAT show when you leave and immediately check the tour for opportunities to see them again. This band is bound for bigger stages. We were surprised how the ROCKED despite having a lot of mellow songs. The fans were loud and on their feet and in general, a great crowd. WORTH IT!

  • Great Show

Great venue at the Brooklyn bowl in vegas. The warm up ‘Cous’ was amazing followed by Caamp. Blown away with them live. Hope they come to the UK one day.

  • Great show!

by kriv on 5/22/23The Factory - ChesterfieldRating: 5 out of 5

This was only my second time seeing CAAMP and I really enjoyed the show. I wished they would've introduced the songs and the meanings behind the songs for those of us who are new but it's not a huge deal.

by Mom’l be mad on 5/21/23The Factory - ChesterfieldRating: 3 out of 5

The sound was “off” - saw them at Riverport with the Lumineers. I think I do enough concerts to complain when the vocals are muddy. Smotherd by a bad pot setting? I don’t think the audience should have to cover but, they did.

  • Great show!

by CGold on 5/20/23The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Caamp is one of those bands that I never get tired of seeing perform. I really enjoy seeing them in a smaller, more intimate venue so the Louisville Palace was wonderful. Friendly staff and great cocktails. They could have done better with a 2nd merch table. I couldn’t bring myself to wait 45-60 minutes (or longer) for merchandise!
