Butler Ballet Tickets

My fiancé and I truly enjoyed the Butler Ballet Midwinter Dances performance. Each group that performed in the four sections brought such energy and emotion. We went into this performance not knowing what to expect since we'd only just attended The Nutcracker. We were beyond delighted and plan on attending more performances. The addition of the singers was an added benefit and an extremely spiritual experience. I felt as if we were all taken to bayou. Just can't say enough about the overall performance! Fantastic!

We saw this show on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings and both nights were excellent but the variety of the pieces, the energy of the dancers and the excitement in the air on Thursday was palpable. Absolutely loved all 4 pieces. Bravo Butler Ballet and Faculty for two incredible shows.

Butler Ballet’s performance of Giselle was truly spectacular! The dancers brought the story to life through their skill and emotion which would rival any professional company. The costumes and sets were exquisite and only added to the already polished performance. It was an absolute delight that left us in tears! Bravo Butler Ballet!

The talent of the Butler Ballet students and professors was showcased in the Mid-Winter Dance Performance. Beautiful choreography highlighted the students abilities. The performances ranged from social statements, to traditional ballet, to comedy! Loved the accompaniment of a jazz quartet and spoken art. First time I experienced comedy ballet and loved it!

The Mid-winter dances were wonderful! Go to student performances whenever you can someone on the stage may be very famous in the near future.

Serenade is a timeless classic, bravo to these students for dancing it beautifully & to the stager & faculty for rehearsing it! Loved the Ballet Russes exhibit in the lobby. Re: the other works, I would’ve really liked a program, even a link to an online program, so I knew whose work I was watching, and who the dancers were. As a director who often hires dance artists this would have been useful info.

I really enjoyed this performance, which included two jazz pieces performed to live music by a professional jazz band. There was a Valentine's Day theme modern piece, and finally a Balanchine ballet piece at the end. The students are all very well trained, strong, and serious about their work. It is definitely worth seeing. I imagine many of these dancers will go on to perform at professional dance companies after graduation.

Non-stop performance while using masks hard to imagine. Excellent seats, low cost and helpful seating hosts as well. Performers get an A from me.

This is the 4th year I have taken my granddaughter to The Nutcracker (last year virtually). As always it was a magical experience for both of us. The colors, dancing and the music were wonderful

Seeing the Butler Ballet performance of The Nutcracker with granddaughters has been a holiday favorite for years. We missed it in 2020 but was thrilled to see it in 2021. The performance was beautiful and professional as always.

A wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit. Students did an outstanding job with music and ballet.

This was one of the best performances of the Nutcracker that I have experienced. Not only were the dancers awesome but the stage and props were perfect! The theater was beautiful, and the concessions were plentiful. Above all, the music was absolutely exceptional!

The traditional Nutcracker is my favorite of the Christmas Season selections in the Indianapolis area, so the Butler College of Fine Arts production is my choice.

I love Butler's rendition of the Nutcracker. It is a magical experience that I would recommend to everyone!

I have never been to a ballet before and wanted to take my Grandson who is 11 years old and loves nutcrackers. We both were facinated at the grace and synchronicity of the performance. It was the most amazing thing we have ever seen. We will definitely be back next year.

I took my adult daughters and 3 yr old granddaughter to see The Nutcracker ballet, it was an amazing experience! The venue was beautiful! The orchestra was top notch and the dancers were perfection!

A beautiful professional performance will definitely lead to happy in the holiday spirit
