Butler Ballet Nutcracker Tickets

My 13 yr old granddaughter and I have been going to see The Nutcracker at Clowes Hall for 3 years. We are never disappointed. Faith likes to sit close because she also likes to watch the orchestra and especially the conductor. This year we were in the front row so she had a great view of the orchestra too.

We recently attended The Nutcracker Ballet with our two preteen granddaughters They were mesmerized with the performance and on the edges of their seats throughout the entire evening. The dancers were amazingly talented- the leaps were astounding! The musicians and choral singers were excellent. The choreography was simply superb! When their parents asked the girls how was their evening, the girls’ replies were “Amazing!” We will be making this an annual event

I loved it. Beautifully done, missed the Russian dancers. I drive down from Northern Indiana to see it. But if the prices go up I might as well go to Chicago. I just wish the tickets would be made available earlier, so I wouldn't have to buy from someone else. They raise the prices.

Extremely disappointing that traditional programs/playbills were not provided. Only when asked did an employee begrudgingly give the 2 of us one card and told us to use our smart phone to scan if we wanted to see information. Unfortunately, as if that wasn’t bad enough, the type was so minuscule it was worthless and impossible to read. The venue itself was extremely cold. I am typically the hottest person in any office or crowd. At the last minute, I threw on a festive holiday sweater, regretting it on the drive because I thought I would be hot. Quite the contrary! My hands were like ice cubes. Thank God I had worn that sweater, but even then I was still extremely cold in winter slacks! It was not that cool outside so they must’ve had the air-conditioning on full blast. I don’t know who rewrote the Nutcracker but, I’ve seen it before so I know what to expect. This was not it. I will be going to a local high school production of the same program this week for $15 and free parking instead of driving an hour and 20 minutes to Butler University where I spent over $200 for two tickets and $15 to park, and freeze the entire two hours at the venue.

My Grand Bellas look forward to and love the Butler Nutcracker ballet, every year ! The orchestra, maestro, costumes and very talented choreography of the classic ballet.

Production was very well done and professional. Orchestra, dancers, and set are all top notch. Clowes Hall is still a very nice venue. Nutcracker is part of our holiday tradition.

This is a wonderful show to attend to, always put together very well. Thank you all for the hard work for such a wonderful show!

Butler Ballet's The Nutcracker is an amazing performance filled with extraordinarily talented dancers and musicians. This performance is a perfect way for family and friends to experience the joy of the season while making life long memories.

Enjoyed the performance, I’ve been going for years. There are always a few changes. No Mother Hubbard this year. No men in the Russian dance?

Butler University along with the Indianapolis Ballet Company always put on a great performance of the Nutcracker. What should also be noted, you could even just go for the music, as the orchestra is incredible.
