    What a show

by Homegirl81 on 9/22/17Franklin Park Zoo - Boston

After changing the date due to bad weather people was not feeling it anymore. There was long pauses in between artists and one performer didn't show up. They never made an announcement about it. Smh the people who put on the show is so unprofessional (nothing new).

by madbells on 9/20/17Franklin Park Zoo - Boston

This show was a total failure!!!! The staff was confused and contradictory , the show started HOURS late ( of course!!), and the main act, BUSY SIGNAL, NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! We will never go to another show at the Franklin Park Zoo and anywhere near a show that has BUSY SIGNAL in it. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

    Worst show ever

by KandiT on 9/20/17Franklin Park Zoo - Boston

The opening local act stunk big time. He could not hit the notes he attempted. The DJ was horrible with way too many technical difficulties. Barrington Levy was awesome then everything shut down for about 30 min. So we left and never saw Busy Signal so I don't even know if he performed.

    Horrible

by HaamMittens7577 on 9/20/17Franklin Park Zoo - Boston

The event was supposed to start at 6:30 (until midnight) we waited for three and a half hours for anyone to get on stage...someone got on to stall and they were absolutely horrible...and then when the actual show started at 10 p.m. the opening act played for 15 minutes, the second act played for about 45 minutes and at 11:25 the generator ran out of gas, just as the headliner's band was about to warm up. At 11:40 still nothing so my husband and I finally left at 11:55... he never got to see the headliner, which is the reason we went.... absolutely horrible and disorganized. I would never recommend going to a show being promoted by lion entertainment. I think they should offer people their money back because they never got what they paid for!!

    Great concert

by Weasy11 on 9/11/17Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk - Brooklyn

I feel like Hot 97 dropped the ball with this one. Other years had surprise guests. This year had none. Also, the opening acts were not good. I understand it's "up and coming" and we need to give them a chance but die hard hot 97 fans and reggae fans do not spend money to see "up and coming" performers. This concert has been a tradition for awhile now and I hope it continues but next year hot 97 better step it up. The venue was clean, organized and staff did a great job.

On Da Reggae & Soca Tip

by Deenice74 on 9/4/17Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk - Brooklyn

The event was nice as usual. But the crowd was not as lively as the group at the Pier a few years ago

    It Was a Great Line-Up!

by TheSilk on 9/4/17Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk - Brooklyn

Enjoyed performances from Kranium, Konshens, Charly Black & Sean Paul. The Vibe Was Energetic However, It Seemed to Have Ended Prematurely...We Were Like What...?! It Was Almost Anti-Climatic & We Were Left Wanting More. Based on The Year Prior We Weren't Under The Impression That it Would Have Ended Before 11pm But Maybe The Change of Location Had Something to Do With It...Anyhow, It Was an Euphoria Night!

Change the name of this event

by Nearlegirl87 on 9/4/17Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk - Brooklyn

Overall this a was a nice little event to go to on a Friday evening, but please remember words mean things. This event was called on the reggae and soca tip and it was neither. Y'all had one soca artist! One of the biggest soca artists out right now (bunji) and he went on second! Like what?! Then there was NO reggae. There were plenty of dancehall acts though. If you are catering to a West Indian crowd, you must know the difference between the types of music and advertise appropriately. This is the start of New York carnival weekend and carnival is SOCA! I think the Venue wAs great though.
