Let's Go Racing! Keep 'em coming!

by Race Girl Liz on 5/4/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

We are general motorsports and NASCAR fans based in the South Bay, and could not be happier and more excited to have the Clash at the Coliseum for a 2nd year! I get it that a lot of non-race fans don't understand the excitement, and that's OK - I don't understand golf (yawn....). But the crowds are still showing up for the main event, and with each passing year, more and more fans will come to enjoy the excitement of those cars. It is a great exhibition for fans, especially if we lose Fontana as a local track to keep SoCal in the mix, and it's a great way for the drivers to get some practice back in the cars before Daytona. Hope the Clash at the Coliseum will be around for many more years.

2nd time attending.....hoping they come back in 2024

by HOOOOLS on 3/12/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Was a little worried when parking didn't open up right away, but was able to park next to the Coliseum. Fan Zone was fun, great selection of food offerings. Wasn't aware of the merchandise area until after the race when we had already exited the gates. Was unable to get back in to take the bridge over. Luckily we attended the race at Fontana and purchased merch there instead. A lot of vendors complained of where they were located at the Coliseum. Otherwise, hoping we can return in 2024.

    It was awesome!

by Beteboop46 on 2/15/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I had a ball! My husband & I were at The Clash last year & because I had so much fun at the first race I wanted to go again this year. My husband didn't especially enjoy himself last year; he doesn't like L.A & all the hectic traffic & the scruing of people. We live outside of a small town of around 9200 people, in Western Wa. so L.A. was to much for him & he didn't want to go, I sure did, so we made a deal, I got to go to The Clash & take my cousin Kelly with me, if I take him to the Sonoma race in June; DONE DEAL!! My cousin had never been to a race before but was happy to be able to get away for the weekend, & wonder of wonders, she really enjoyed herself. We sat 40 rows up right on the start/finish line right, on the isle. She did get a little tired & cold with about 30 laps left, when the wind really picked up; so we went inside & watched the end the race with a nice hot toddy! I was so proud of her; she's not a fan of any sport, but she sure enjoyed The Clash; as did I!

    Race was great, entertainment meh

by Eis on 2/13/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

The race was great. Also I thought the crowds were better managed this year too. getting into the venue was easy. The entertainment was a little dull also hard to see from the further seats.

It was some good racing in between but too many cars

by BirdBrain on 2/10/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

It help lead to too many cautions. Last year was more consectitive green flag laps but I think the cars were closer in performance. The problem was the between race entertainment was way too loud. Stupid loud and I could not have a comfortable conversation with people in my own party. No reason to be that loud. Just like last year. Too much and might not be back next year because of it. I have been to maybe 40 races in 30 years and nowhere else is it like that.

    Awesome!

by Josh R on 2/10/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

My son and I arrived around 1 pm. We caught all the Heat races. We were seated in Section 109A and enjoyed the side by side, crossover action in turn four.

    Amazing event, confusing seating

by BigSky on 2/10/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

The event was wonderful (bring hearings protection). My only frustration was with the stadium seating—poorly marked, so it was difficult to locate seats.

    Obstructed View of Track

by BobZ on 2/9/23Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Clash at the Coliseum was outstanding experience for my first NASCAR Race. One disappointment was a stairwell concrete stanchion on the left side of our seats at Section 219B, Row 5, Seats 12 and 13 that obscured the view of 1/3 of the track.
