One of the most exciting NASCAR races

by rschuur on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

This was a fantastic race, yes the speeds were slower than typical, but it proved exciting racing is not necessarily require speed. Racing was awesome and the new cars as well. The atmosphere.... Nascar knocked it out of the park. Non stop entertainment the entire day. Making the day FLY by in time. I was pleasantly surprised re the whole experience. The Coliseum is simply a GRAND HISTORICAL place. I look forward to another

    The Clash is a hit

by Buzz on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

The event location, the on track action was a B+ The crowd control needs a lot of attention for the next time NASCAR returns. Getting out of the stadium was a hot mess with obvious paths being blocked by security folks. Thirty minutes to get from our seats to the allowed exit point. Once out of the stadium the car was less than ten minutes and the freeway was another ten minutes away.

    Cheesy

by j. b. on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I went on Saturday on the GM day. They practiced at 9:30 in the AM but the gates didn't open until 1pm, what a waste of fan viewing, or not viewing actually. Poor information on-line with very little in-depth detail on anything. On Saturday, it was very underwhelming. I hope the in person fan experience was better on Sunday.

    Busch Light Clash

by Jonathan on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I was skeptical of this going into it. I live only 15 minutes from the Coliseum so I had to go but I wasn't certain it was going to be a success. However it was outstanding. The track was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the racing was outstanding. There were only 5 cautions during a 150 lap race and people had predicted there would be 20. The concerts by Pit Bull and Ice Cube were great, even though that isn't my favorite kind of music but it was a lot of fun. My ONLY issue was Saturday. There was a practice scheduled for 9:30am and I got down there early for that. Only to find out that the practice was NOT open to the public and that really bummed me out. Never heard of not being able to watch a practice at any other race track.

We had a blast. Went on Saturday for the qualifying. Was fun to see the cars, and there wasn’t a bad seat in the coliseum. Will be back next year.

    Busch Class2022

by Tiny1amc on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Had a blast at The Clash on Sunday 2-6. Saturdays experience not so good. No one seemed to know what was going on! No directions on how to get into the venue! Walked around the venue twice trying to get answers! Nascar would not allow fans to attend practice! Gates opened at 1pm with no activities going on until 5:30 pm

    Outstanding

by Chris on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I’ve been a long time NASCAR fan and have been all over the western states watching NASCAR races. I had my doubts about this facility, area and track construction but the event did not disappoint. I was amazed at the positive energy from the LA community and residence.

    LA Delivers Again!

by Mktx on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

Did this day really happen?! As a Los Angeles native, seeing NASCAR come to the city was incredible! Every major sport offers a season worth of events in the middle of Los Angeles, to see NASCAR finally find a way to deliver this moment was wild. Everything went above and beyond and truly felt like an LA experience. The racing itself was phenomenal and showcased NASCARs grassroots perfectly while engaging a newer and bigger audience. 10/10 NASCAR needs to return for years to come! (And maybe pay a little extra for better performers)

    Awesome

by Joey on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

It was amazing!!! Always room for improvement for the next one. All stat and advertising should be on the same page. Times differed everywhere. Fans should be able to watch qualifying. There should be more vendors. It was way to crowded in fan zone. Maybe have a meet and greet for a couple drivers. And there MUST BE a different exit strategy!!!! That was aweful!!! The event itself was amazing

    Most Unique NASCAR Experience

by Patrick G on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

I've been to several NASCAR events, this one definitely stands out. The energy and excitement in the track was amazing! My son and I loved it! This is a great way to show how intense this sport can be. The roar of the engines, the rumbling under the seats, the smell of the oil and rubber all were in full display here. The Coliseum is beautiful and I was so glad to be there. PLEASE do this again!!

    Amazing

by Madudder on 2/8/22Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles

This was great to see a short track race. For a first time event here it went pretty smooth. I would liked to have been able to purchase the gate parking with my event ticket. Never having been to LA I now know better hotels to choose.
