    Blown Away

by Broadwaybabette on 2/7/14Gramercy Theatre - New York City

What a entertaining evening!!! I went with a bunch of friends- jaded New Yorkers, been there done that types, and yet there was unequivocal agreement that this is one of the most entertaining shows we have seen in a long time. the musical styling, the costumes! The big band, all the elements came together. Quinn Lemley has an incredible range and is gorgeous and has a star quality, an appeal that is both sexy and wholesome. Kinda of a odd mixture but it totally works.

    Sublimely Devine Show!

by EastVillageArts on 2/7/14Gramercy Theater - New York

Was more than pleasantly surprised at how much fun I (and my husband) had. Ms. Limley and her cohorts exude sexy playfulness and charm in this tasty treat of a show. In true burlesque style she put out 110%, but kept us begging for more!

Fun, Feathers, Great Songs & Energy!

by willtyye on 2/7/14Gramercy Theater - New York City

What a fun evening! Quinn Lemley and her "girls" went above and beyond, delivering one great show tune after another, celebrating the art and history of burlesque and the women who brought it to life. I went on opening night and am going again this evening. The theatre is the perfect size for a show like this, giving everyone a great seat. Quinn and the girls dazzle in their beautiful, sparkly "naughty burlesque" costumes. The energy of the show keeps moving throughout, the songs are heartfelt and upbeat and it's all backed up by a nine-piece band. Great music and a wonderful night out. It is fun, entertaining and Quinn's energy and personality are irresistible.

Perfect Show for a fun girls night out

by juju2000 on 2/7/14Gramercy Theater - New York

We had so much fun. We laughed, shared a pink feathers boa between us, and laughed. The costume change was like a magic. How many layers of sequin dresses one could have on? The show was perfect for a group of girls/women to have a fablous night.

    Fabulous Fun!

by misshyp on 2/6/14Gramercy Theatre - New York

Quinn and her girls aim to entertain and hit the mark. From the shimmery feathery costumes to the sounds of the big band that accompanies them there is something to delight all the senses - and yes the burlesque theme cocktails are part of the fun! Quinn obviously loves these old standards and performs them from the heart. Go see - you'll have a great time - especially if she pulls you up on stage to learn to bump and grind and shimmy and shake!

    Great Night Out

by BroadwayJojo on 2/6/14Gramercy Theatre - New York City

Such a great show! My friends and I group of 8 people had the pleasure to catch Burlesque to Broadway. It was totally worth coming out of my winter hibernation. Quinn Lemely and her girls really know how to warm up a stage. All the elements were there, from first class singing and dancing and unexpected flashes of humor. The band was incredible and the costumes were delightful. Loved all the songs, especially I am a red hot Mama & Just Let yourself Go! The audience seemed really engaged, it was a great synergy between the Artist and the audience it was as if she was letting you in a great secret. It was intimate and engaging. I would definitely come back and see her if she comes back to New York. I had a smile on my face all day and I caught myself humming some of the tunes. Loved it all!

    Thoroughly Enjoyable

by NYCUHappy on 2/6/14Grammercy Theatre - New York

Opening Night of Burlesque to Broadway was Great Fun!! Quinn Lemley is a Beautiful & Dynamic performer. She mixes great music interwoven with classic vaudeville & endearing stories of growing up in Indiana. The costumes were fantastic, the staging was fun, and the 10 piece band along with the dancing girls completed my Burlesque experience. There is a fun audience participation moment and at the end of the show you get the eye popping moment you came for. Get yourself a Special Burlesque cocktail and enjoy. I think this would be a fun night for Bachelorette groups too.

Had super fun girls night out!

by juju2000 on 2/6/14Gramacy Theater - New York

I found out about the show on NY1 news and went to see Barlesque to Broadway fighting against melting snow and freezing rain with 3 girlfriends and all of us had a super fun. Perfect event for a girls night out. We laughed, screamed, and danced sharing a pink feather boa between us. We came to know each other better from who laughs on which corny joke first. We were especially impressed by the fact that the performers were real women of various body types (not photoshopped) and they all looked confident in their bodies. It made us feel that we could dance in a sequin dress and look as good as those womenn on stage. (Probably not, but at least it made us feel...) And the leading lady's costume changes were like a magic. Sequins after sequins. If you love sequins and feathers, you would love the show. Gilrs. Hit a happy hour somewhere close by and go to the show to have a blast. It's gonna be a fun girls night out.

Best Show I have been to in a long long time

by MusicallyMerrry on 2/6/14Gramercy Theatre - New York City

Last night I saw Burlesque to Broadway at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this show. Quinn Lemley is an amazing performer. She has an incredible voice and you can tell that she has put her heart into the show. I learned so much about the history of Burlesque and how it empowered women. I loved the old fashioned corny jokes and the sexual innuendo. She and her girls and her big band really delivered. She even got people up and dancing which in New York is a tough act to pull off, but everyone seemed to catch her infectious spirit! This is a show that even my husband enjoyed. I want to come back and take my sisters and my mom. Catch it now before she really does go to Broadyway!

I have always been a lover of the Burlesque stars and this was wonderful trip down memory lane. I brought my friends and had an absolutely blast. The costumes were gorgeous as were the *girls* and Quinn. Very tastefully done and some fun audience "treats" at the end.

Well what a fabulous show this is. Classy with sexy risqué allowing the elements of Burlesque to shine through yet a show that won’t give grandpa a heart attack! The story through song and costumes were magical and I wish the run was longer in Vancouver. Now I can’t wait for them to come back just to see that energy and all those feathers! Yousa!

"COLORFULLY BRINGING THE TEASE BACK TO STRIPTEASE"

by STARJULES on 4/29/13RIVER ROCK CASINO - RICHMOND

I have always loved burlesque and those who introduced it to me as a child (Gypsy Rose Lee, etc.)-thanks Ms. Lemley for being the next to carry the "teasing" torch using the costumes of feathers, sequins and tassels & making them "pop" through words, music and dance, making all of us want more, more, more! Ms. Lemley reminds the audience, "It's all about the tease"! Her show puts the tease back in striptease. Its alluring. The shows visuals make the heart happily palpitate (and maybe a few other organs as well-lol). While educating the audience with the history of this genre, Quinn Lemley in "Burlesque to Broadway keeps this form of entertainment current without losing any of its integrity. . I think Lemleys strength is her captivating ability to educate her audience about the subject while simultaneously and fully entertaining her guests: "Let her entertain you, Let her make you smile". As big as the majestic "State Theater" is Quinn embraces the audience in a way that makes it feel personal. What a gift! I'd see it again !!! TOTALLY ORIGINAL
