Bullet for My Valentine is a heavy metal band from Wales. They released their debut album in 2005, though they had originally formed as a band in 1998 under the name of Jeff Killed John and released a number of EPs before their first album. Years later a couple of early tracks were reworked and released under the Bullet for My Valentine name. In their early years, before official singles and album releases, they performed cover versions of popular heavy metal bands such as Metallica and Nirvana, whom they list among their influences along with Iron Maiden and Slayer. The band promoted their first album by taking a tour around the world and subsequently toured to promote each of their albums with lots of tour time in North America, Canada and the US. With a growing fan base they began to be invited to perform at festivals and as their popularity grew they moved up the billing at many prestigious gigs. By 2006 they were headlining at the Kerrang XXV gig at London's Brixton Academy and up to the present day Bullet for My Valentine have continued to tour and perform at music festivals all over the world. Over the years the band have collected an enviable cabinet of awards starting with their Best Newcomer award at the Welsh Music Awards in 2004. They won the Best British Band Award twice at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards, in 2006 and in 2010. They have been regular award recipients at the Kerrang! Awards including Best British Band three years in a row from 2008 to 2010.
Good music from beginning to end. The venue is always great. The whole experience, great.
Been a fan since I was 15. This was my first time seeing them. They did not disappoint, the contrary, they amazed me. š¤
The experience was amazing, I did meet and greet and the staff was great, very helpful and very nice. Just once when I wanted to go to the bathroom this guy who works there yelled at me and told me... the bathroom is out of limits lady. I didn't like that lol. The show was amazing I had a great time. The only thing that I don't like about House of blues is that it gets very crowded and you can't even go to the bathroom, and it's impossible to get back in to your spot.
Iāve been a fan of BFMV for the last 16 years, seen them twice already, this was my third and they always hit every tour! My inner 9 year old self was in joy after seeing them.
To big of a venue for such a small place or they sold to many tickets. It was sold out and it was pretty tight in the back and hot. Had a couple of obstructions in the back . Could have been a little louder but sounded great. The performers put on a excellent show.
Iāve been to about 10 shows this year and this easily ranked up towards the top! From beginning to end the show was filled with great energy!
I was able to get my guitar signed by the very artist and band members that inspired me to pick it up in the first place. After years of watching them on YouTube and listening to their songs on Pandora and Spotify, I finally was able to make one of their shows while they were stateside and I paid extra for the meet and greet experience and now it is a memory Iāll cherish for a lifetime. Iām still speechless to the whole experience and Iād do it again every chance I get. The set list was top tier, venue was packed, and my ears are still ringing! The lineup of Vended and Of Mice and Men had me hooked and singing along word for word and then the headline of Bullet For My Valentine took it over the top. I canāt speak highly enough of how amazing this was for me!
Everything was absolutely fantastic and Bullet For My Valentine was extremely amazing live!!! A night I will cherish for the rest of my life
Bullet put on an amazing show! The crowd was electric, and the venue was comfortable
1st time at the Buren and was pleasantly surprised. Bullet brought a really nice crowd and it was a great night for me and my son.
From song #1 played by Vended to the bitter end of Hearts Burst Into Fire, this concert was a banger. Brutal pits opening up everywhere but the top seats and a great sing-along crowd made everyone feel welcome.
i love bfmv and omam so much and iām so happy to see them live in concert. the entire experience was incredible, this was my first concert and im b so happy to have seen my favorite bands play live!! i hope to see them again in the future. i also had no problems with my tickets using ticketmaster, i recommend everyone to use ticketmaster because my friend has issues getting her tickets on stubhub, we were waiting for the 30 minutes on the phone to get help. use ticket master!
Itās was a good show other than all the people with their phones out. I barely seen half of the show.
First time seeing bullet for my valentine. Been listening to them since 2008. Usually concerts are not my thing. So was on the fence about going at all. But super glad I did. I never had such a great time at a concert. To the point of Me loosing my voice. Worth it. Bullet brought the energy and put a great show on. Would see them again in a heartbeat.
Yeah they were awesome and I love the van Buren, best venue in the state
I have been to over a dozen rock concerts at the Realto in Tucson but this had to be the best concert I ever been too!
Let me start by saying that The Wiltern is a great venue. It feels like every seat puts you right there in the midst of all the fun. The balcony seats (which is where I was sitting) really made you feel like you were right up on stage with the band. The venue as a whole was very accessible for all needs. I loved the architecture , the overall feel of the place was very welcoming. Now for the band itself. I have been listening to them for quite a while now and this was my first time seeing them live. Let me say they are very interactive with the fans, making us all feel welcome and entertained. The sound was amazing and they sound really good live. It was one of if not the most fun I have had at a concert. Just an unbelievable experience. I would give it a 10/10
Bullet was fantastic, they are amazing performers. They sound amazing live and you can tell they have experience and know what theyāre doing. As an audience member I felt so engaged the whole concert. Their openers were Vended and Of Mice & Men and they were so well picked out. They really got us going and warmed up for the lead act. The light design was also amazing, I couldnāt help but notice. Overall, amazing performance. 10/10!
This might be the best concert Ive ever attended - venue and performances were top notch and sound quality was outstanding.
Iāve been waiting to see Bullet for nearly 20 years now and it was everything I could have ever wanted. They sounded amazing, i was worried about having to sit during their show but the energy in the room was great. And the staff at the Wiltern were amazing. I couldnāt find my seat and the nice woman helped me. And the bartenders were hilarious 1000/10 night.
