Buffalo Sabres History
The Sabres joined the NHL in the 1970 expansion, and just two years later embarked on a streak that saw them reach the playoffs in 12 of the next 13 seasons. Leading the way were "The French Connection" line of Hall of Fame center Gilbert Perreault, left-wing Rick Martin, and right-wing René Robert. The Quebec-born trio was together in Buffalo from 1972 through 1979. Aided by Craig Ramsay, the Sabres and their French Connection advanced to the 1975 Stanley Cup Final in their fifth season, though they fell in six games to the Philadelphia Flyers.
In the following 10 seasons, all of which resulted in playoff berths, the Sabres captured two division titles. Fueled by defenseman (and former U.S. Olympic star) Mike Ramsey, the Sabres made nine playoff appearances between the 1981–1982 and 1991–1992 seasons. Later, during goaltender Dominik Hasek's nine seasons, the Sabres continued to be a consistent playoff team. In 1999, they dispatched the Ottawa Senators, Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs in the playoffs to again reach the Stanley Cup Finals, where they fell to the Dallas Stars in six games.
In 2006 and 2007 the Sabres made it as far as the conference finals before succumbing to the Carolina Hurricanes and Ottawa Senators, respectively. To date, the Sabres have been in the playoffs 29 times, winning six divisional championships and three conference titles.

I love the Sabres and the games. The atmosphere and energy of the fans is amazing! My only complaint is the cost of food, beer, and snacks. For the price of tickets, there is no reason to have the costs so high.
Fun time, loved the themed day for kids, my son's first hockey game, he really enjoyed it. Was a great day for my son, father and me.
Fun night but we are once again out of the playoffs
I was a bit disappointed with the seating. My friends are 6’ and 6’2” and their knees were touching the seat in front of us. The seats were also very narrow leaving no room to move. Wish I knew this when I booked the seats. Aisle 112 row 25 seats 9-12
Great game and seat price. Enjoyed event alot. Will use service again
Had a great time at the Keybank Arena to see Boston and Buffalo. Much more reasonably priced than Toronto tickets. Just we aware that you must not bring a bag bigger then 4x6.
Can’t say enough good things about the venue and the crowd. Our seats were up high, be we could see everything, even better than some closer seats. The crowd was mellow and good natured and the staff were helpful and very competent. This was my first Sabers match but it wound be the last.
The staff at the Sabres game was outstanding. Couldn't get wifi to work but help was there. Sat in 200 section. Great seats. Sabres fans not very upbeat though. Sound system great. Cami and the Fringe great. Ice cream great. Fun time.
We drove from NH to Buffalo to watch the Bruins play the Sabers. It was a 24 hour trek and worth every second of drive time. The city was great, the venue was great, the game was great.
It was a good game to attend. As a fan of both teams, it's always a matchup I try to attend. The 200 level seats are the best at the arena because you can at least sit there without feeling like you are trapped.
Leafs played softer than a dollar store pillow Concessions stands in 300 Level poor. Way too many ice scraping’s during commercials . Peace Bridge US Customs never ready for Leaf Nation invasion
Great arena, great fans, when everyone is healthy they are very good. Team. Let’s go Sabres👍
The venue is great and the Buffalo fans are awesome, friendly people.
The Buffalo Sabres and the KeyBank centre have a lot to learn about how to get their patrons in and out of the arena. It is a joke that they funnel everybody into one little area. Why can’t they have more gates for people to access it at various points?
Venue easy to get to. Game was awesome. Seats were comfy. Staff were great! Best hockey venue!
Great Atmosphere, Even at the very top the view is great. Easy accesses, had a great time.
Everything was fantastic! The seat, the atmosphere, the food, the game!
Great night at the game. Great atmosphere. The team is just about there after what seems like a never ending rebuild
The game was fantastic. Although everyone would have wanted a win, it was still great. Although, I was kind of upset to find out that you can't end up on the jumbotron for a big and exciting moment. I got engaged at the game and was kinda hoping to end up on the jumbotron, only to find that doesn't happen anymore. I completely understand that things change over time but it definitely would've been cool for that to happen.
