Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club®

It was an exhilarating performance. I didn't want it to end. The orchestra was stimulating, and I like how the audience(of all ages) responded. We were singing along and dancing in our seats. The evening was filled with rhythm. The music was excellent.

  • Excellent Venue and Performance

by Bud on 9/28/25Blue Ocean Music Hall - SalisburyRating: 5 out of 5

We had never been to this venue before and found it to be an excellent spot. Acoustics were great. Facility was clean. Drinks are overpriced at places like this as usual. Band was super good. Location is easy to get in and out of. Good restaurants, close by for pre-concert meals.

  • Que sabroso!

Great energy, great venue! My only dissapointment was that they did not perform more of the classic Buena Vista songs.

Great energy! Everyone was obviously having a blast up there on stage. I've NEVER heard a fiddle/violin played with such panache! He belted it out there, as did the rest of the orchestra. What a fabulous night!

  • Soul fulfilling!

by Omisegun on 9/19/25Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

My son told me about this event a couple months ago, hinting that it was right around his birthday, so I jumped on it and bought tickets. Anything coming out of Cuba I will support. For one, I have deep cultural ties to it and for two, the artists and experience is always top-tier. The instruments, the vocals, the energy, all of it absolutely enchanting! We didn’t want it to end. I highly encourage supporting this experience whether you go alone or with people, you will be soul fulfilled as we were.

  • Cuban Rhythms, Timeless Magic

by esantana on 9/16/25Bayou Music Center - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing the Buena Vista Orchestra live was an unforgettable experience. From the first song, the music swept me straight into the heart of Havana. The rhythms were so full of life that it was impossible to sit still--I found myself clapping, swaying, and smiling the whole night. The musicians played with such joy and passion, each instrument blending into a sound that felt both classic and fresh. The singers' voices carried so much soul, telling stories that reached beyond the stage. What struck me most was the connection between the band and the audience. It didn't feel like a performance--it felt like a celebration we were all part of. By the end, the energy in the room was electric, and the standing ovation was pure gratitude for a night of music that touched the heart.
