About

Bryan Ferry in Concert

When it comes to debonair British crooners, Bryan Ferry has the market pretty well cornered, now in his fifth decade as one of the country's most celebrated and stylish pop stars. As beloved for his work with art rock band Roxy Music as he is for his solo material, the ever-dapper Ferry is a consummate performer, known for his silky voice, ladykiller looks, and come-hither stage presence. With a North American tour and Coachella appearance scheduled for 2014, Ferry has fans of all ages eagerly waiting to be seduced by his wily charms.

Bryan Ferry on Tour

Ferry formed Roxy Music in 1970 with several friends and acquaintances, among them a young Brian Eno, the now-legendary producer of David Bowie fame.  Between 1972 and 1982 the band released eight albums, topping the UK Albums Chart three times and racking up a slew of hit singles including "Jealous Guy" and "Love Is the Drug." In addition to continuing to front the band, Ferry has maintained an impressive solo career, releasing 14 solo albums over the last four decades. A true showman, Ferry continues to tour, lending his treasured voice to Roxy Music classics, hits from his solo catalog, and covers of artists ranging from Bob Dylan to The Beach Boys.

Sound Quality Could Have Been Better

by Bryan Ferry Fan on 9/6/19Moore Theatre - Seattle

Really looking forward to this concert and I enjoyed it, but the sound quality needed some improvement. They didn't seem to do any sound checks ahead of time. The venue was also extremely warm which made it uncomfortable. Will think twice before seeing a show again at the Moore.

    Almost perfect

    by J. on 9/6/19Moore Theatre - Seattle

Bryan was great. He could do no wrong. The venue isnt my favorite. It is an older, historical theatre so that means very narrow seats, no elevator to the balcony. Also that night the A/c or ventilation system wasnt working so it became very hot. I almost left a few times it got so uncomfortable with the sweating. They handed out bottled water at the beginning but it really didnt help much. If that hadnt happened it would be 5 stars.

Man, Bryan Ferry can still sing and dance! He’s very youthful for his age. Husband was awesome.

    Great show

by Drpm on 9/3/19Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

The venue was awesome, and the performers were fantastic! Of particular note, Chris Spedding was spot on, and a joy to watch on lead guitar, and Jorja Chalmers, playing an unforgettable Sax on Avalon, Dance Away, and other favorite hits of Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry. Such a great show!

Waited over 30 years to see Bryan Ferry in concert...

by A Fan on 9/3/19Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

Loved the venue, very elegant and exotic; the Telegraph Room was amazing. Staff was friendly, fun, and helpful. Femme Schmidt was lovely, I wish her all success in her career. Mr. Ferry did not disappoint. It was great to see him perform with his band and witness his love of music and his fans. My daughter was with me and she commented on how much he must love what he does because it came across in every song during his performance. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

Bryan Ferry Brings The Heat...and Steam!

by Jester on 9/3/19Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

FANTASTIC show!!! Never a lull. The Fox was a humid 74 degrees at show start (per BF's request I hear) and only escalated throughout the show. Usually this might be uncomfortable but BF had us deep in a thick jungle of sound all night with driving percussion and guitar and vocal solos that pierced the banks of steam. It was perfect. Brilliant performers and excellent sound. The atmosphere BF creates with his music and light show is an immersive experience. Highly recommend.

    Great show but too short!!

    by M. K. on 9/3/19Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

Great opening act and Bryan and band sounded great but they basically flew through a 2 hour set as if they were in a hurry to get someplace, or get off the stage....lol Good Opening Act, would buy her cds

    Ageless Wonder

by Tuna on 9/3/19Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

This show went beyond my expectations. Having seen Bryan Ferry a number of times over the years, I didn’t think I could be surprised. I was blown away by his strong vocals (and, I read in a review that he was fighting a cold), and by an energetic and tight band that brought new life to his wonderful songs! And, kudos to the people who where behind the boards, the sound was impeccable! Best I’ve heard in quite awhile! Brilliant show from a brilliant artist!

    Solid Performance

by O'Toole on 9/1/19Jacobs Music Center's Copley Symphony Hall - San Diego

Bryan was in excellent form as well as his 9 piece band at the Copley Symphony Hall. His long time bandmates where solid but I especially liked the drummer, who's style reminded me of Keith Carlock, Steely Dan's drummer. Also a pleasant surprise who the 2nd guitarist, Tom, who played with passion and clarity. Will this be the last time we see Bryan ? I emphatically hope not because to witness such an incredible show in the future would be something not to miss.

    Excellent!

by MGM on 8/31/19Jacobs Music Center's Copley Symphony Hall - San Diego

Mr Ferry performed and met my expectations. Moved to dance, hoot and holler and whistle my approval. Wished he had done an encore, but.....the show was abundant with excellent songs and he did provide the best performance. At 73 yrs old, he demonstrated exceptional stamina and put it all out there for us to enjoy and appreciate. Great venue with ample seat room and excellent vantage points from all angles.

    He's still got it!

by Natty on 8/30/19Jacobs Music Center's Copley Symphony Hall - San Diego

Nice staging and lighting. He belted up most of my favorite tunes, which was surprising. Infectious smile and coolness. Will keep seeing him til he hangs it up.

    Underwhelmed

by J. on 8/30/19Jacobs Music Center's Copley Symphony Hall - San Diego

Beautiful venue and we had decent seats on ground level. But I think Bryan's microphone was set too low. Me and my girlfriend could not hear any of Bryan's vocals. If we had not known some of the songs we would have never understood the lyrics. We left a bit disappointed.
