About

BRUNO MARS IN CONCERT

Classic showmanship in the vein of James Brown and Michael Jackson is alive and well, and Bruno Mars is here to prove it. Mars takes the stage with The Hooligans, a tightly choreographed nine-piece soul band that serves as the perfect representation of his commitment to the live experience – a commitment that led to his selection as the halftime performer at Super Bowl XLVIII. A classic song-and-dance man and multi-platinum selling pop star, Mars references everyone from Prince to The Police in both his image and sound, but the result is more than mere imitation; as a songwriter and producer, he has successfully combined the sounds of his pop idols with reggae and hip hop to create a new generation of genre-crossing hits. In anticipation of his Super Bowl performance, fans can get tickets to catch Bruno Mars in concert on 2013’s Moonshine Jungle Tour.

BRUNO MARS BACKGROUND

Mars was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he gained his first exposure to music playing rock and Motown covers in his family’s band, The Love Notes. By age five, the Elvis Presley impersonations he performed with the band had gained him a reputation on the island and landed him a cameo in the 1992 film Honeymoon in Vegas. After high school, Mars moved to Los Angeles to pursue music, finding initial success as a member of The Smeezingtons, the writing and production team behind Flo Rida’s 2009 hit “Right Round.” His first success as a solo artist came in 2010 with “Nothing On You,” a collaboration with rapper B.o.B. that peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the duo several Grammy nominations. Mars’ debut album, 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans, landed at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and contained two worldwide No. 1  hits with “Grenade” and feel-good ballad “Just The Way You Are,” which nabbed him his first Grammy (Best Male Pop Vocal Performance). Sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox (2012) was an even bigger success, peaking at No. 1  on the Billboard 200 and spawning the ubiquitous hits “Locked Out of Heaven” and “When I Was Your Man.”

  • Buy the ticket!!! It’s worth it

    by L. C. on 5/29/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Bruno and his band left everything on the floor. Loved-loved-loved it. I am so amazed of his appeal to such a broad audience from little kids to seniors in wheelchairs. Bruno has such command of the whole audience. He is so engaging and real. He made light of accidentally dropping his mike and dealing with a non-functioning guitar. It almost seemed that the mishaps were rehearsed . He paid a short tribute to Tina Turner who past away this week. Respect! I especially loved the yonder pouches. They removed a major beef I have with live performances. People filming shows are always such a big distraction for me. The only constructive comment I have is that the backdrop, explosions and fireworks were not all that creative. The performance could have been enhanced with better visuals - recently saw Adele and Santana who nailed the visual experience. But Bruno and his “Players” were a full package. A+++

  • Amazing!

  • Amazing Experience

    by J. B. on 5/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Went to see Bruno Mars at the Dolby theatre after I proposed to my fiancé. It was the perfect way to conclude the night. He literally gave it his all. Had fun from the beginning to the end. He’s natural and the real deal. The band was electrifying. The entire building was rock. My seat was in the 200s but I would have had an amazing time all the way in the back. That’s how good the concert was.

  • Picnic Table Lounge

by Disappointed Fam RWB on 5/20/23Rating: 1 out of 5

I am a true die heart Bruno Mars Fan. I got two VIP tickets for the Preakness Show. Very excited only to find out that I am seating on some picnic table facing portable toilets. What a rip off. No one was of any assistance and was unsure as to where the area was located. Sorely disappointed! Nothing against Bruno.

  • Saw him twice

    by D. H. on 3/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I still get goosebumps when I think seeing his performance. If I was rich I see him each day 😂

  • The best!!!

    by D. A. on 3/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The show is amazing! His voice, his moves are above and beyond. Planning to go and see him again. Be aware if you enter the theater the security puts your phone in a pouch and you cannot use it while inside and they told us this when the phone was already locked. Can you imagine my teen?! LOL. So consider when you enter the venue.

2nd Bruno concert and would do it a 100x if I can! Pure entertainment from start to finish. Was worth driving to Vegas from CA just for the concert. Please do another one in Los Angeles!

  • Amazing From Start to Finish

    by C. J. on 2/6/23Rating: 5 out of 5

My first concert, and what a way to celebrate it. Not only was it in Friday night in Vegas but Bruno gave an amazing performance. He is a true performer and musician. The Hooligans are also so talented. I could not stop singing and enjoyed all of the songs. Definitely recommend seeing Bruno if you ever are in Vegas. Thank you Bruno for making my first concert memorable.

  • AMAZING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT

by Marisa on 2/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Bruno mars is one of the best performers. He puts his heart and his soul into his show. He was so energetic and fun. I didn't sit down once and I had no voice by the end because i was singing my heart out. That man is soo talented and he makes his shows feel like one big family. I wanna go back so bad. He made everything so fun i was so sad that we had to leave. 10000/10 recommend

  • Bruno Mars in Vegas

    by B&C on 2/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was spectacular!!!! High energy, NO cell phones allowed What? It was nice to see a show without people holding their phones in your view, and enjoying the moment the way it should be!! It was very memorable and would see it over and over and over

  • The show being good was an understatement

    by C. O. on 2/4/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Like i said in the experience the show be good or great is a understatement . He gave the people what they want a good time even without our phones , made us laugh and dance and sing along like we weren’t even his fan . Like we was friends on a facetime call . Everything was good and amazing!! did lose my voice lol . But overall i’d go see him again . They did make us out our phones in pouches that we carried around all night when we walked in the doors through security . The whole night i didn’t even think about my phone besides while i was waiting for him to preform . It was my first concert ever and i’m glad he was my first !! this is a concert you definitely want to go to

  • Bruno is the best singer ever!

    by K. L. on 1/29/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Love and enjoy the show so much! Though the price was expensive, the performance was wonderful! Love the one and only Bruno Mars. If Natalie and All I ask were on the list, the show would be perfect. Please hold more concert and write your new album Bruno! I cannot wait for it!

  • The only show worth the ticket price

    by Kay77lay on 1/2/23Rating: 5 out of 5

With inflation and the cost of everything going up. This concert is a sure bet. Bruno Mars delivers all the bang for your buck. It's an amazing experience.

  • MGM

  • Wow. Best Concert EVER?!

by CC on 10/22/22Rating: 5 out of 5

silk sonic. vegas. incredible. I’ve been to probably 100 concerts… this blew all of them out of the water. Incredible experience.

  • Very disappointing

by Shaz on 10/10/22Rating: 1 out of 5

Normally I check the set list but this time I didn’t since I like almost all Bruno’s song. The only caveat was that he didn’t sing any of his song… was performing with Anderson pac ( god knows where this guy came from) and yes they dance and sing beautifully but no one familiar song
