Bruce Hornsby Tickets

We were so excited to see Bruce for the first time and have our son and his wife join us- music is a huge part of our family and our love for all kinds of genres has definitely rubbed off on our kids. Sadly we were so disappointed in the concert, expecting to hear the version of Bruce’s classics that we know and loved. This concert was not marketed as a new venture for him with a totally different sound. This was not our cup of tea and such a bummer to all of us. Many of the songs we have loved for years were played in totally different rhythm and just so disappointing. The venue continues to be an amazing place to attend a concert, but it was so sad to not hear what we expected.

This tour/show is really not for the typical Bruce Hornsby fan. Maybe you saw and loved him with the Dead? Or loved his Old Valley Road era? You will get nothing like that. Playing with yMusic - an eclectic NY based 6piece orchestra- each of his classic songs takes on a new life in which you need to struggle to find pieces of the original. Melodies are not even the same. It was horrible. The new songs with BH and yMusic suck. Its like listening to childrens songs and a combo of NPR. Rediculous lyrics and arrangements.

I walked away from the Des Moines performance feeling major disappointment. I was aware that he was going to be performing as much or more of his new material as he would his older songs. His support ensemble played very well, it just wasn't my cup of tea. The part of the performance that I didn't care for was when he played his old songs he didn't put any energy into them. It appeared as though he was doing the old material because he was obligated to include it. There were a couple times he put some energy and magic into the old material, and you could feel the crowd reacting, and then he would shut it down. As far as his new material, I'm not a fan. And that's fine, he can go wherever his urges take him. It just would have been nice if he had put some effort into the material that made him who he is.

The venue was our favorite & Bruce commented he loved it & their piano. Promised to return! Played many requests from audience & ones written before hand Improvised & introduced us to new & obscure composers which he worked into songs. He blew us away! As we exited we were given free 25th anniversary tour CD set! I’m loving it!! Thanks for a magical night✨

He is very talented but don't expect to hear the stuff that made him great

A man and his piano. WOW he's a great musician. Got to hear variations of his popular songs as well as classical renditions that he wrote. A one man show I could go to again.

Excellent show. Great venue. Talented Pianist. The only thing missing was some of his older music which everyone has enjoyed over the years. Still excellent show.

Bruce was talking and joking with the credit he played and played. I highly recommend his show.

Extremely disappointing. Hardly any recognizable songs from his past. I appreciate improvisation but his was to the extreme. I have to live with the songs I know in the past and his style in that era. It will be very difficult for me to consider seeing him again.

Went with a lot of excitement. Got there an hour early, and enjoyed the first few minutes, but instead of hearing the songs the way they were recorded, it felt like Bruce was bored and wanted to show off his amazing piano skills. At times, it felt like a piano concertos. Wished he would have played his songs the way they were recorded. We left early, disappointed. :(

While he plays the piano quite well and still has his voice, the show was terribly disappointing. His song selection was poor and the handful of familiar songs were almost unrecognizable. I’m a big fan but the show was lousy.

Sometimes the artist we remember from earlier years is not we what we get at the show. I’m happy to report that this was the case on Wednesday night in Fort Lauderdale. Bruce exceeded our expectations and pushed us to widen our appreciation for his talents. He interjected jazz and classical elements into much of his earlier well known music and introduced the audience to something refreshingly new as well. His music continues to evolve as it should. I’m already looking forward to his next tour. Thank you Bruce for a very enjoyable show.

Great show by Bruce Hornsby. Last time I saw him we were both young men so now we’ve mellowed with age. Great story teller .

I am so sick and tired of artists changing hits that got you to buy the tickets in the first place. Maybe I missed something, but had I known this was going to be a piano only jazz performance I would have passed. He changed all the hit songs so they were not recognizable and basically was playing a piano recital for himself.. Never again.. Stop messing with the songs.

Exceptionnel evening! Bruce is still a virtuoso at the piano. Intimiste evening, all of his success, revamped and with a touch of improvisation. It is a show you need to see!

We saw Bruce at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on 11/19/2023. His piano playing is simply awesome! He also told interesting stories and jokes between the song. I highly recommend seeing him in person!

If you are a Bruce Hornsby fan you will want to see his Spirit Trail Tour. The show is Bruce and his Piano. He plays new and old songs. He is interactive with the audience. Such a incredibly talented piano player!

My 1st time at this venue. I was disappointed that the venue website did not mention that this was a solo performance. I was expecting Bruce with his band. He was very entertaining though.

Show advertising for Seminole Casino showed a 6 man band. Actual show was a Night with Bruce Hornsby. People were leaving after 10 mins. We lasted 20 mins. Very boring.

I’m a big fan of Bruce Hornsby. The setting and acoustics were good. I was seated in the back but there are no bad seats. Was disturbed with so many attendees moving around. Loved every moment of every song. He’s mesmerizing. Definitely music for the soul.
