Brooklyn Nets History
Founded in 1967 as a member of the American Basketball Association, the Brooklyn Nets franchise began as the New Jersey Americans before relocating to Long Island for its second season and becoming the Nets. After merging into the NBA for the 1976–77 season, the Nets moved to New Jersey and remained there for 35 seasons before relocating to Brooklyn in 2012.
The Nets closed their ABA era as the league's marquee franchise, reaching the finals in 1972 and then winning championships in 1974 and 1976. The legendary Julius Erving won the league's final three MVP awards. Powered by forward Buck Williams, the Nets made five straight NBA playoff appearances from 1981–82 through the 1985–86 seasons.
In 1991–92, the Nets, propelled by top scorer Dražen Petrović and young catalysts Derrick Coleman and Kenny Anderson, returned to the playoffs, with both Coleman and Petrović earning All-NBA honors in 1993. The arrival of point guard Jason Kidd in 2001 sparked the team's greatest NBA era. Joined by Richard Jefferson, Kenyon Martin and Kerry Kittles, Kidd led the Nets to a franchise-record 52 wins in 2001–02 and back-to-back NBA Finals appearances in 2002 and 2003. With high-flying Vince Carter arriving during the 2004–05 season, the Nets made six straight playoff appearances.
The 2020–21 season was a stellar one for the Nets, as they advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, losing in the seventh game to eventual NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks. Kevin Durant set an NBA playoff Game 7 record when he scored 48 points, but the Nets came up a bit short.

All was great! I am from Germany and I Had never Problems.
The game was fine, nothing to say about that. The queue to get it, a very different story. The game started and there were still thousands of people queuing outside to get in, and we arrived well in advance! Quite unbelievable when you know they do that event every few days
Have to improve lines to get in.Too slow, and complicated.
I will never forget, I hope to repeat, incredible show but the food could be improved
I hadn't seen an NBA game in over 15 years. It was as advertised. Great athleticism, amazing individual performances. I would rather watch a good NCAA basketball game. I am an avid NFL and NHL fan and I see a handful of MLB games a year. The NBA is something I rarely watch. If you are going to a game, the Brooklyn arena was great. Easy to get too and great visibility. It was as advertised and didn't disappoint.
It was better then I expected everyone should experience an nba game the stadium was awesome!!!
The Barclays provides a safe, clean, family friendly and professional environment. While the athletes and performers put on top-notch entertainment. Furthermore, the food options are extremely delicious. I had Buffalo Boss boneless chicken with French Fries, Junior’s Cheesecake and a City Chip cookie. Thanks for providing such a wonderful experience from ticket purchase to exit doors.
The venue is nice and the game was good but that is it. The actual game experience lacked enthusiasm and you can tell by the fan response. The only entertainment was some dancing. Many other venues offer more fan interaction during breaks. My son and I got bored with the game during breaks so it just felt blah.
one of the star players on the heat did not play. I wish you guys, announce who will not be playing, 8 to 16hrs before tip off. best,
Really enjoying. Its our firts time and we rally appreciated it
The center is great and the overall experience is a great show. Seats are comfortable in any place. (The match was so and so, but I guess it's because of the roster)
Perfect organization from start to finish. There is nothing better
Really nice experience. Fast access to the arena Very nice people
Barclays Center is great. Nets won. Great experience.
Overall, the experience was good with quick entrance and exit of the center. The food venue is nice. The main problem for me was that the sound in the arena was too loud, sometimes near 95 dB which can be harmful for the health. I used earplugs and it was way better. Otherwise, everything went great.
We watched a great game. Entering the building and after went very smooth. But since I bought the ticket in Europe, it was really not easy to get the ticket on the ticketmaster app. So finally I put everything on Wallet, which was way easier...
We had good seats and a nice view. The entertainment in between the game was cool. Our drinks were expensive but it was expected for buying drinks at a venue. Not terrible pricing for a double shot though. My boyfriend and I had a really good time.
I didn’t even sit in the seats i paid for. But overall the game was good.
amazing, excellent view, well organizated, a beatifull place
