Classic Broadway is worth your while!

by CLCD on 7/13/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

Good production of this classic show. Funny and entertaining, although somewhat slow moving in the middle - beginning and end are definately the highlights! Majority of the actors and actresses were engaging and believable, and for the price of admission this was a steal!

    "Chorus Line" was incredible!

by RandD on 7/12/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

I went this past Satuday night with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It was an amazing performance. All the actors did so well, hit their lines and cues right on, and left us wanting more. I was stunned that my husband actually enjoyed it, too. He is not big on plays, especially musicals, and I was dreading his reaction to this play. He really enjoyed it, though. The seats in the balconies, though, are a little rough. I am not rating the performance based on our seats, but if you do go, try to purchase the more expensive tickets in the orchestra area. There is absolutely no leg room in the balconies - everyone is practically sitting on top of one another and you cannot even cross your legs. And I am only 5'1"!

    A Chorus Line

Good show but long in the middle. I think it would have been better in a smaller venue.

    Really??

by Bobbyjames on 7/12/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

The singing was great as well as the dancing . It seemed that about 80% of the disscusion centered around sexual themes totally inappropiate for children.

    Chorus Line

by DOUBLE on 7/12/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

Since this was my 4th time to see the show, I am probably jaded. My 15 year old dancer grandaughter LOVED IT! I just didn't think it was as good as the first two I saw. The actress/dancer playing Cassie was an AMAZING dancer. This has nothing to do with the show; but, I and my grandaughter were inundated with alcoholic breaths around us. When did the Music Hall start allowing drinks to be brought to the seat?

    a chorus line

by britishgirl on 7/12/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

Great energy, the main singer and dancer were superb. My husband and I couldn't think how they all just kept going and hardly seemed breathless. Didn't like not having an intermission, it's hot out there and we had drunk a lot of water before coming to the show!

    A Chorus Line - Incredible

by texplan on 7/12/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

We just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary on June 25th. Our first date way back in 1982 was one where we saw "A Chorus Line" for the first time. Since then we have seen it on Broadway as well as in other locations. This particular production at Fair Park went well beyond our expectations. "At the Ballet" was pitch perfect and the harmony could not have been better. I love the character of Diana Morales and as Rebecca Riker sung "Nothing" my heart broke for her, what an incredible talent. Then she sings "What I Did for Love" and once again I am in tears. Mindy did a great job in "Dance: 10; Looks: 3” ... her character had a quality different from those I have seen in the past, and we both liked it! Robyn Hurder's dance routine was beautiful. I was exhausted watching her and yet she danced and sung magnificently. The only area where I didn't get the same impact I have had in the past was in the storyline involving Paul. In past performances it was gut wrenching to see his dreams come to an end; it stood out! For some reason it just didn't last night. Overall I was wonderfully moved last night and I am so thankful we can see productions like this in the DFW metroplex area. Thank you, great job!!

    Chorus Line was pretty good

by Maribeth on 7/12/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

I went with a friend and we were pretty high up in the second balcony, so we couldn't see the faces very well, but we enjoyed the dancing and music. It was not as good as the movie with Michael Douglas, but the costumes were great and the closing number was outstanding. I would recommend that anyone go see this event.

    The Chorus Line was spectacular

by loverofthearts on 7/11/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

My daughter and I both agreed , this production was exceptional. All aspects of the show was so beautifully done. I would recommend The Chorus Line as the one to be sure to see. We loved each dancer, every song and the final dance production is a show stopper. This is a top rate, first quality musical.

    Chorus Line was something else

by southerntboy on 7/11/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

Normally, I am not who goes to see plays, but this was something my niece wanted to see. I expected to see a bunch of scene changes, which didn't happen. However overall, I thought this was a movie that was NOT a wasted evening. The actors and actresses were very good.

    Chorus Line is the ONE!!

by ldshotmama on 7/11/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

Chorus Line served to be the one to see this summer with my grandaughter. The dancing was wonderful. A few of the singers need to bump up the volume. Not sure how... the intensity should also be bumped up. I know the story... didn't feel the characters in this performace.

Chorus Line was a Must See

by Fishie on 7/10/09Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

I can understand why Chorus Line ran for 15 years on Broadway. It was great show with a meaningful story line that kept the audience hooked from the opening scene. If you've never seen this show, put it on your Broadway Bucket List.......

We saw A Chorus Line on opening night and it was fantastic! My husband had never seen it so this was a dream come true for him. I have seen A Chorus Line several times, and this was definitely a great performance! Don't miss this opportunity! We drove all the way from south Texas to see it!
