50 Years of Dark Side

Brit Floyd returns to the stage in 2023 to perform a brand-new production celebrating 50 years of the ground-breaking and iconic musical masterpiece The Dark Side of the Moon. The show will feature classic tracks from the album such as Time, Money, Us and Them and The Great Gig in the Sky.

The 2 and a half hours plus set list will also include other highlights from Pink Floyd's magnificent catalogue of albums, including tracks from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Medal and much more.

Taking to the stage to perform note for note renditions of all these classic Pink Floyd tracks will be the band of musicians that audiences have become familiar with worldwide over the years, featuring long time guitarist/vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, who has played over 2500 Pink Floyd music related concerts throughout his career.

The band will also feature Ian Cattell, Edo Scordo, Eva Avila and all the other expert musicians that have joined the ranks of Brit Floyd over the course of the last decade.

Having performed over 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, Brit Floyd have circled the world, sold out tours across Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East, and performed concerts at some of the world's greatest venues, including London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and 'The Showplace of the Nation', NYC's Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

The Brit Floyd show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded as the world's greatest rock tribute show. Faithfully recreating the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Pink Floyd tour, complete with a stunning light show, iconic circular screen, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.

single songs - Not Dark Side of Moon Album

by jgch on 6/1/14Mountain Winery, - outside - Saratoga CA, part of San Jose

I have seen Pink Floyd 4 times. 1973 in Detroit at a hockey arena Metal and Dark side of the moon whole albums no video 1975 - once in Denver and twice in Detroit Dark side of the moon album, with round video screen Somehow I had the idea from watching the Red Rock video, that they were going to do Dark Side of the moon album, which they didn't. It was just individual songs in no particular order. The musicians were good, but I was disappointed. Too high expectations. Also the video was not that good compare to the actual PF.

    Awesome show!

by AHaua on 5/26/14Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I've been seeing these guys ever since they were members of Australian Pink Floyd, and the true talent of that band have since formed Brit Floyd. If you're a true Pink Floyd fan, you owe it to yourself to see BF; they are incredible live, sound and production both!! I'll go see them every time they come around! I just saw them in San Diego and am looking forward to their show at the Greek in L.A.

    Brit Floyd was awesome

by Clay1987 on 5/21/14Bayou Music Center - Houston

Tight, clean, and professional instrumental and vocal performances. Excellent guitar. A great reproduction of Pink Floyd. A fascinating spectrum of Pink Floyd from the 60s to the 90s. In addition to Time, striking highlights include Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Wish You Were Here (wow), Great Gig in The Sky (dead-on female vocals), Pigs - Three Different Ones (incredible guitar, standing ovation well-deserved), Comfortably Numb (favorite guitar solo), and Run Like Hell (a nice encore to end the concert).

    Blew our minds!!!

by mountainlovers on 8/4/13Red Rocks - Morrison

This was our first Brit Floyd concert and our first show at Red Rocks, so needless to say we got one hell of a deal!!!! This show was filmed for PBS which was awesome and historic! The sound blew my mind away. It was pitch perfect and the instruments were beautifully played. Kudos to the sound techs. The lights were everything we hoped they would be and more...especially at red rocks. The animations were amazing. Could have been a little bigger, but no worries. This show was phenomenal. GO SEE THEM!! You won't be disappointed!!

    Somewhat Disappointed in San Diego

by cctvtech on 5/17/13Balboa Theater - San Diego

This is the first time I've seen Brit Floyd, though I did see basically the same group in their guise as Aussie Floyd more than once. They were supposed to play San Diego last year but cancelled at the last minute. That date would have made for an excellent comparison between Brit and Aussie Floyds, since I saw AF in Mesa, AZ a week later. Oh well.... Anyway, I was somewhat disappointed with the concert on May 8 at Balboa Theater in SD. First, I have to agree with thegammas - the bass was way too heavy - more like a rap concert. Although it was a bit disconcerting during the concert, I didn't really think about it much until we decided to leave during the encore. From outside the theater, it was much more apparent. The entire building was vibrating. No wonder my ears were ringing! Second, I don't know if Damien was just "off" that day but his vocals were a bit "sharp". This was really noticeable at times. Third, although Balboa Theater is typically a good venue for many acts, the stage was too small for BF. There were no lasers - something we've all come to expect from any "Floyd" act (was the venue afraid they would damage the decor?) and there was barely enough room on the stage for the performers and the round screen. The other lighting was well done but I really missed the lasers. One huge positive - they played for three hours with only a 15-minute break in the middle. Compare to AF's typical 1-1/2 to 2 hour concerts and I can say that all in all, I definitely got my money's worth. In fact on the way home, my friend and I agreed we were "Floyded Out" for once (don't think for long, though). I would likely attend if they play in SD again. I just hope they choose a different venue.

by MarcosLauderdale on 4/24/13Broward Center for Performing Arts - Fprt Lauderdale

A show not to miss. Like many others, I'd have to agree, one of the finest concerts I've ever been to. I'm hooked, will be back again on future tours for sure.

    BRIT FLOYD.....SUPERB

by NOMISGERG on 4/23/13ASHEVILLE CIVIC CENTER - ASHEVILLE

I gave this show a 5 because I couldn't give it a 4.5.....We were 4 rows from the stage, dead center and the bass sounded as if it was coming from the trunk of a pimped out 62 Impala.... too much boom and too overpowering...The sax player did not have enough volume during his solo's.....I actually complained to the sax player during the break and the second half of the show sounded better, but maybe it was because I had lost the lower ranges of my hearing by then...However, this band was great....everything about the show was first class and very well performed....If there is a better tribute band I'd love to hear them..as for now this one is # 1 on my list......This show was not well attended and the band could have chose to "take the night off" but they didn't and my son and I had a great time ! ! !

    Brit Floyd at Temple Univ

by thegammas on 4/12/13Liacouras Center - Temple Univ - Philadelophia

I am always wary of tribute bands, but these guys (and gals) blew me away . I grew up with Pink Floyd, saw them in concert more than once, and so feel qualified to say they are fantastic! They strike an excellent balance between very faithful recreation of the songs, over-dubbing of sounds from the original recordings (such as dogs barking from Animals), and their own influences on the arrangements. They didn't over play the songs yet they played with great intensity. I highly recommend this show to anyone whom enjoys Pink Floyd. My only critique is for the sound engineers. As you read this next part don’t let it sway you from seeing this band. From my spot on the floor, eighth row center, the sound left MUCH to be desired. The bass was MUCH too loud, overpowering the subtitles of the other instruments, and towards the end of the show had become a distraction. The engineers and the bassist all seemed clueless about it. Many people in my section commented about it. The backup singers were hard to hear which is a shame because they are awesome. I expected much more from the engineers, and fortunately the musicians overcame the sound deficiencies.

    Total disappointment

by Kaban on 4/11/13Beacon - NYC

I will get right to the point: Last night my wife and I went to Beacon Theater to see Brit Floyd. Sound was bad especially microphones. Absolutely unacceptable job done by sound engineers. The mood of artists was like they were doing us a favor by coming out to play. I will not go to Brit Floyd concert ever again. My previous experiences with Pink Floyd music (besides Gilmour and Waters) was: Australian Pink Floyd – 2 concerts and loved both of them

    Amazing Concert!!!!

by Cdubya178 on 4/10/13Sovereign Performing Arts Center - Reading

I wasn't sure what to expect from Brit Floyd, but let me tell you, I was blown away by them!! It was hands down the best concert I have ever been to. I loved the light show, and the video they had playing in the back ground. And not to mention their voices were incredible. If you closed your eyes you would've thought you were at a Pink Floyd concert for sure. My boyfriend wasn't 100% sure if he wanted to go, and now he is searching for other dates to go again! This was so worth it, and I am more than happy I went!

Surprisingly the best show I've seen this year!

by guitarrockpoet on 4/9/13Cobb Energy Center - Atlanta

And I've seen a lot of shows. I am old enough to have seen Pink Floyd in 1976. This show was perfectly perfect. The light show was fantastically duplicated, the singing was perfect, the drums and guitars were all excellent! I would highly recommend this show!!

Having seen Brit Floyd in larger venues, this was a unique chance to see them in a more cozy theater. The volume was not as loud, but that was fine. However, there were a few surprising and uncharacteristic glitches with some technical matters at the onset, which was smoothed over nicely. Otherwise, the set list was diverse, and the only notable exception was Time. I was sitting near others who have not seen them before, and they literally gasped upon hearing the beginning of the Great Gig in the Sky, and Dogs. They are pros, and obviously work hard at re-creating Pink Floyd in a most authentic manner. I would highly recommend this group to all, if you are even a casual Pink Floyd fan, for there is no closer emulation of this once in a lifetime creativity and sound.

Dead ringer for the real thing!

by Brandon111111 on 4/2/13Cobb Energy Centre - Atlanta

I saw this show in Atlanta on April 2, 2013 and it fulfilled and surpassed my expectations. Everything was absolutely spot on; these musicians are extremely talented in their respective roles. The vocals sounded just like Gilmore and Waters. The visuals that were put on were also absolutely awesome and went really well with the music. I will definitely be seeing Brit Floyd next year!

One of he best shows at the best amphitheater

    by Werkout52 on 4/2/13Red Rocks - Denver

I attended the Brit Floyd show at Red Rocks last September and was blown away by the show. After watching you tube I was expecting a good show but you have to be there, especially at Red Rocks to appreciate it. After seeing the real Floyd I can say I enjoyed this show as much as any concert I have seen in 45 years of concerts including the Beatles I hope this becomes a yearly ritual at Red Rocks It is a must see show!!!

    Simply Amazing

by Mark1586 on 3/27/13The Music Hall - Detroit

I saw Brit Floyd several weeks ago at The Music Hall In Detroit and they were incredible. The sound was perfect as well as their song selection. They played a little bit of everything and the concert was almost three hours long. But the most outstanding thing was their musicianship, everyone in the band was incredible, it is impossible to pick out one favorite in the group because they were all amazing. If I had to pick a highlight of the evening I'll pick two, the lead guitar playing on Shine on You Crazy Diamond and the solo singing performance by the female singer on The Great Gig In The Sky both were perfect. Go see Brit Floyd if they come near you and you will experience an evening of incredible music.
