50 Years of Dark Side

Brit Floyd returns to the stage in 2023 to perform a brand-new production celebrating 50 years of the ground-breaking and iconic musical masterpiece The Dark Side of the Moon. The show will feature classic tracks from the album such as Time, Money, Us and Them and The Great Gig in the Sky.

The 2 and a half hours plus set list will also include other highlights from Pink Floyd's magnificent catalogue of albums, including tracks from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Medal and much more.

Taking to the stage to perform note for note renditions of all these classic Pink Floyd tracks will be the band of musicians that audiences have become familiar with worldwide over the years, featuring long time guitarist/vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, who has played over 2500 Pink Floyd music related concerts throughout his career.

The band will also feature Ian Cattell, Edo Scordo, Eva Avila and all the other expert musicians that have joined the ranks of Brit Floyd over the course of the last decade.

Having performed over 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, Brit Floyd have circled the world, sold out tours across Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East, and performed concerts at some of the world's greatest venues, including London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and 'The Showplace of the Nation', NYC's Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

The Brit Floyd show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded as the world's greatest rock tribute show. Faithfully recreating the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Pink Floyd tour, complete with a stunning light show, iconic circular screen, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.

    Vinyl Flashback

by 33RPM on 3/6/16The Benedum Theatre - Pittsburgh

If you grew up listening to PINK FLOYD in a neighbors smoke filled basement, aka The 70's Show, sitting in the audience at last nights performance in Pittsburgh was the "FLASHBACK" they told you would come from experimenting with that STUFF! Older and wiser, not even a drink before the show, FLASHBACK was the first word that entered my mind. This is by far one of the finest performances by a tribute band that you will ever EXPERIENCE. From the opening song to the final cord, a FIRST CLASS PERFORMANCE. I worked in a Pittsburgh record SUPER STORE in the late 70's through the late 80's and saw just about every concert that was held at the CIVIC ARENA and STANLEY THEATER including several PINK FLOYD tours. BRIT FLOYD's CONTIMUUM is the ultimate experience. If you were too young, or like much of the audience - not even a twinkle in their daddy's eye, to have seen any of the early tours, the experience you will have is as close as you will ever get to the real thing. Sound, lights, lasers, and visuals are FIST CLASS! Mom and dad, spend some of the inheritance and take the yourself, the kids or better yet the grand-kids and show them what music was before MTV, CD's, iPods and YouTube!

    Wow! Simply put, Wow!

by Kronos1550 on 3/6/16Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

So there were some technical issues at the beginning which delayed the opening number. It didn't matter. This band was absolutely amazing. The musicianship was brilliant. The video and lighting was captivating. The vocals were incredible. I understand why a tribute band like this has its own following. It is because I am not sure that there is another "tribute" band like Brit Floyd. This show is stunning. Breathing new life into my love for that Pink Floyd sound. It is a must see for fans and those not yet initiated. Wow!

    Britt Floyd was awesome

by Jodylu on 3/6/16Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

What can I say? The band rocked it! Seating was great. A few hiccups with sound at first, but it was quickly fixed and the band started the song over. We would definitely recommend it and will be going again!

    A Total Floyd Experience!

by Wallysgal66 on 3/6/16Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

I have been coming to the Brit Floyd show since 2013. They are thee best of the best cover bands. Not to many people can sing "Great Gig in the Sky" right on key. The girls have every movement and note down to the key. Damian, Ian, Rob, Arran, & Thomas have the sound down right to the last note! This year I was at first disappointed when I did not see Bobby walk out on stage but Edo surprised us with equally talented sounds! I took my date to see this show for his first time, this year. He's not much of a Floyd Fan but was so impressed that he can not wait for next year. Thank you for kicking off your tour in our little town of Johnstown Brit Floyd. We love you and hope to see you return "year after year."

    Brit Floyd, great show.

by Doublej68 on 3/6/16Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

Despite a few first night glitches it was an amazing show. If you close your eyes you'd swear it was 1980 something and were seeing Pink Floyd. Amazing video and light show to accompany the music. Spot on show and if you love Pink Floyd go see Brit Floyd cause it's as close as you're gonna get.

    Space & Time Tour

by CalGold on 8/16/15Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Tonight my family attended the Brit Floyd concert at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. This was my second time to see Brit Floyd so I knew what to expect of the show & knew my family would enjoy this family friendly audio/visual spectacle. But what I did not expect was my reaction to seeing The Orpheum Theatre for my first time. The Orpheum was a wonderful gem & helped make the show that much better. Why? Because of its character & wonderful preservation. The Orpheum originally opened in 1926 & it still had all of its ornate architecture intact. The detailed wood carved ceiling was so awesome. Our seats were the best in the house. They were in the Mezzanine, which was located upstairs, just in front of the balcony. Since it was elevated above the stage we had a perfect unobstructed view of the stage. The prices associated with the Orpheum were impressive. First off, parking was way cheaper than arena parking. And then the concessions were inexpensive, too. We all loaded up on snacks & some of us even went back for seconds. The concert was awesome. Brit Floyd played for 3 hours, with one 20 minute intermission. I enjoyed seeing them for my second time more than my first time because of it being at The Orpheum & because I had my family there instead of just me. The lasers used throughout the show were awesome. I loved their light show, too. And the videos really helped tell the stories of the songs.

Sounds Even BETTER Than Original Band!

by ChakkuriWhite on 7/19/15Ruth Eckerd Hall - Clearwater

My husband and I attended the Brit Floyd Show at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater last night. After a winderful pre-show dinner at the venue, we were treated to one of the best concerts we have ever attended. This band not only covered all the essential Floyd hits note for note, but sounded even better than the original IMHO. Some of the songs covered included big hits such as "Another Brick in the Wall"', "Money", "Wish You Were Here", and "Comfortably Numb" among others. I was pleased to see they even included a couple older songs from the 60s such as "Set the Controls". There were no opening acts. The show was in two parts plus a twenty minute intermission with the second portion being around ninety minutes in length. A constant video in the background coupled with occasional laser lights and a giant pig (?) head made this show a fun visual experiemce as well. I would highly recommend this show to ANY Pink Floyd afficionado or anyone even remotely familiar with their music.

    Excellent Floyd Show

by ThinkJudd on 6/17/15Civic Center - San Diego

If we have to come to terms with the fact that the Floyd are never going to reunite...and I think we do...then we have to content ourselves with the occasional Gilmour tour, Waters doing the Wall...and tribute bands. If you have never seen the real Floyd go see these guys...they are terrific. If you have seen the real Floyd..let's face it you probably don't remember that much..so go see these guys anyway. This is a fabulous tribute band...in fact tribute band doesn't really cover it. IMHO these guys and the Australian Pink Floyd show can give the real guys a run for their money any day of the week. Their sound is as close to perfect as makes no real difference (albeit it sometimes takes two guitarists to pull of what Gilmour does on his own). The skill and artistry is off the chart as is the stage presentation. Impressively they use enormous amounts of original video as featured in various real Floyd shows. The footage looks horribly dated (as did the much of the crowd BTW) but it was super authentic,a bit nostalgic and fascinating....they had the Concord taking off in "Money"! The availability of computer controlled LED rigs means that in many cases these guys were able to outshine the crazy diamonds' original technical presentation. The show is epic in length. It starts dead on time (so get there on time people!) and runs three hours with a 20 minute pee break. To give you an idea of how in your face talented they are they ran "Great Gig in the Sky" as the second song, with the soloist absolutely crushing the part. You don't get many shows which can pull off a standing "O" in the first ten minutes. The show allegedly covers 50 years of Floyd...and there's my only complaint. To get to the 50 years they played one track from their 2014 cash grab abomination "The Endless River". It's a horrible album cobbled together from the cutting room floor of the "Division Bell". That track and "See Emily Play" (Yuck) from "Piper" got them the 50 years but it hurt the show just a little. Side note for super geeks. In the video and photos which accompanied 'The Endless River' TRck there are lots of vintage pics of the band but not a single picture or video moment of waters to be seen. Never mind, those polished turds can be overlooked when the rest of the show is considered and enjoyed. I loved that they did "Sheep" and "One of These days" and their renditions of "Run like Hell" and "Comfortably Numb" were spot on. It was ballsy to encore with the entire fourth side of "The Wall"...they pulled it off but by that point I bet many of the crowd could have done without the trial and its over blown Waters BS and called it a night. You can not spend fifty entertainment dollars better. You should go and take the kids or grand kids. Show them how great it used to be. Bravo Brit Floyd!

    Well worth the ticket

by Logan2534 on 4/3/15La Crosse Center - La Crosse

The Good: Sounded as good if not better than the current Pink Floyd lineup for a fraction of the cost and closer to home. 150 minutes of classic Floyd. "Great Gig" had a big ovation. Would have loved to hear them follow it up with "Money/Us & Them". The Bad: nothing really. Please Brit Floyd, come back to La Crosse. Although ticket sales were low, all of our local universities were on spring break, so thousands of kids were not in town. Sit down crowd throughout. The atmosphere would have been much more fun if all general admission.

    The ultimate Pink Floyd experience!

by TheMotleyLeppard on 4/1/15Palace Of Fine Arts - San Francisco

No matter how much all us Pink Floyd fans want it, there is never going to be a reunion. Rick Wright is dead and Roger Waters really wants nothing to do with the band, having constantly and sternly reminded fans that he left far before the breakup. Now that we've got that out of the way, let me tell you one thing there IS: Brit Floyd. When I went to see these guys, I didn't know what to expect. I can safely say they blew away all my expectations. Not only do they sound really good, they played a variety of material, not just the hits. They also have psychedelic light shows while they play and at the show I saw, there was a screen behind them playing a sort of music video along with the songs. They have played full albums in concert before, though they did not do that here, the closest they did was they played most of "Dark Side Of The Moon", though not all at once. Aside from that, their set consisted of tracks from "The Wall", "Animals", "Wish You Were Here", "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason", "The Division Bell" and maybe a couple songs from some other album, I can't remember... If you are a Floyd fan and you never got to see the real band live, than I can assure you, this is worth your Time and Money, because as I have already said, there is almost zero chance for a reunion. Brit Floyd: It's the closest you'll get to the real thing!

You MUST See The Brit Floyd Show

by Craig831 on 3/29/15Brit Floyd at Detroit Opera House - Detroit

Went to see Brit Floyd at the Detroit Opera House 3/28/2015. Haven't been to a better concert and I've been to a few. I originally got hooked on Britt Floyd after seeing the Live in Liverpool video available on You Tube, so amazing I bought the DVD (even more incredible sound quality). The Detroit show was sold out and the acoustics in the venue couldn't have been better. The light show is astounding. Just terrific. The performers are incredibly talented and the set list was diverse. The second set ended with Comfortably Numb and brought the house down. Britt Floyd returned for an encore that began with Run Like Hell. I paid $50 each for good seats and I would do it again in a heartbeat. For the experience, it's a great value. We will definitely be looking to go again next year should they return. You must see this show.

Don't pay attention to the naysayers

by nbrooks503 on 2/12/15Bayou Music Theatre - Houston

As the title says. Brit Floyd is the closest that anyone will ever get to experiencing Pink Floyd. I know - I was at Earls Court for the Pulse tour and at Rice Stadium during the thunderstorm. All of these musicians are superb and are able to duplicate note for note the playing styles of the Floyd It is of note that Damien Darlington actually played for Gilmour at his 50th birthday party

    Save your money!

by GoobOzzy on 12/10/14Beacon Theatre - New York

I saw Brit Floyd at the Beacon Theatre in NY and while the lighting and screen video looked like they spent a lot of time and money on, they are just another tribute band. Someone posted that if you close your eyes you would think it's Pink Floyd, not the case. And if you're going to advertise playing full album sides, why play an edited version of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and completely omit "Lost For Words"? Kind of disappointing for such pricey tickets. I have yet to hear Gilmour's tone from anyone other than Gilmour.

Brit Floyd is THE Pink Floyd Tribute Band

by CalGold on 9/10/14Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

I was too young to have seen a Pink Floyd tour, with the last one being 20 years ago. And I never really got into them until discovering them later in life. Brit Floyd was truly amazing. When I closed my eyes, I couldn't tell that it wasn't Roger Waters singing. The best part was the visual presentation. The psychedelic colors, videos, & lasers truly enhanced the music. It was just like being at a real Pink Floyd concert. The setlist featured 23 songs, spanning all 14 Pink Floyd albums. They played for almost 3 hours. And having this show at The Greek Theatre, an outdoor venue, made it that much more special.

Proved My Old Man & I Wrong!!

    by wildfan4eva on 6/22/14State Theater - Minneapolis

I've seen Australian Pink Floyd once last year, and although Brit Floyd's "laser light show" isn't quite as good, musically I give them the edge. Both groups are FANTASTIC and do Pink Floyd justice no doubt! I mean, for another group to replicate a type of music genre like Pink Floyd is extremely difficult, but to replicate it at the level Brit Floyd #even Aussie Floyd# is beyond incredible. I brought my old man to both the Aussie Floyd last year, and now the Brit Floyd show last week. According to him, someone that has seen Pink Floyd in their prime back in the day, he undoubtedly said while closing his eyes there was no question in his mind it could've been the real deal. AGAIN, THEY'RE THAT GOOD! BF played ALL of my favorite hits, and even some of their stuff that only die-hard enthusiasts would know/love which made the entire show worth every penny, plain and simple! At first, my old man and I thought to ourselves, paying over $60 to see a tribute band would probably be "iffy" at best, but my God did both groups prove us wrong! Don't miss these guys, seriously! Don't miss Aussie Floyd either for crying out loud! Enjoy!

by xxJayxx on 6/4/14William Saroyan Theatre - Fresno

I went thinking well Pink Floyd music and lasers could be interesting. These guys (and gals) where EXCELLENT .... I was blown away !!! They played really old Pink Floyd stuff along with all the hits and the audience ate it up ! They are excellent musicians and the vocals where perfect sounded just like Pink Floyd ! The backup singers where very good and the whole show was a feast for not only the ears but the eyes too. I will see them when they return next year. Be sure to see this show it is worth the price of the ticket.
