About

British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached  No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

  • Amazing Show

by SempiternalBMTH on 3/27/17The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

All artists put on a good show. BMTH really brought It! Every second was amazing. Love shows at the Tabernacle. Not a bad seat in the house. We were front row a little to the left throughout most of the night until my daughter started to get squished as the BMTH show went on, then we moved to the back which still had a good view of the stage. All around good time.

  • On Top of their Game!!!

Came out with S-P-I-R-I-T and took control of this crowd, from start to finish!

  • AMAZING SHOW!

by DisneyJennifer on 3/27/17The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

BMTH blew me away, they played for almost 2 hours. The crowd was singing along to all the songs and their opening acts were amazing as well. Would definitely see them again!

    by DChavez56 on 3/19/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was perfect! Tons of seating and plenty of room on the floor! The acts were all fantastic! Beartooth and Bring Me The Horizon were flawless as always!

  • No security

by Arteicra on 3/19/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

It would have been an amazing, but it wasnt. The ushers didn't do anything, people stole our seats, we had no room, it was complete chaos.

  • I'll always remember seeing BMTH <3

by Faitharoni on 3/18/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, amazing bands, good vibes in the crowd. It was amazing we had the freedom to crowd surf, mosh and get wild but also the safety not to get injured. It's going to be a hard night to top

  • Incredible

Totally awesome. So happy I got to be at this show.

  • Awesome bands, horrible venue

    by 1234567s on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

BMTH was awesome, and seeing them live was unforgettable, but the faulty amps and the microphones that kept going out mid-lyric sucked. At first I thought that all three bands just had crappy equipment (which seemed REALLY odd for BMTH), but now, after hearing about similar experiences with different bands at the Masonic Temple, I suspect it's the venue. I would, and hopefully will, see this band again, and recommend them to all my friends, but not at this venue. Not only on the coldest day of the year were they late opening the doors (my toes went numb, and I was seriously worried about frostbite), but their equipment was a shit-show. I expected more for the money I paid. Hopefully, when they come back, they'll go to freedom hill or the fillmore. Also, even though we paid for certain seats, they treated it as first-come-first-serve, and there was a lot of seat poaching. Their bathrooms were also really bad. None of the doors locked, so people just barged in, not knowing, and they looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the 70's. Enter at your own risk, or try desperately to hold it.....

  • Best night of my life

by yayitslauren on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

As a concert enthusiast I can tell an okay concert from a good concert and a FANTASTIC concert from a good concert. Bring Me The Horizon did just that. They put on a fantastic show. Music sounded great, vocals were impeccable, lights and energy was contagious. It was simply, the best night of my life. When a band your obsessed with is finally 10 feet in front of you it's an unexplainable feeling. I crowd surfered for the first time in my life during Drown, the last song played and it was a magical experience. Like heavy metal music or not, you would enjoy BMTH.

  • I only went for Matt Kean.

by bmthrosana on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show. Amazing opening acts. Matt Kean? Most Amazing.

  • Amazing!

by Viavia on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Waited in line for 2 1/2 hours so we could be close to the stage, we got right up front, one of the most amazing moments of my life!!!

  • BMTH @ The Masonic Temple - Detroit

by BMTHFanMI on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

Band was amazing! Venue was horrific! Horrible sound/P.A. system that cut in & out, could not hear lead vocalist Oliver Sykes at all; no spotlight or lighting on front of band (so dark you couldn't see there faces...). Such an incredible band, but left the show feeling let down... I waited for years to see BMTH! A BIG thumbs down to The Masonic Temple!

  • Bottom Line

    by ZiZi78 on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing live, would definitely see them again. The sound in the Temple, Oliver's voice, the acoustics. All in all an evening of Fun Fun Fun!

Oli didn't scream or sing much. Left a lot to the crowd, and had also a backing vocal track. What is this a pop show?! Stage setup was cool. Didn't play much from their older catalog of songs. Mostly the latest (sellout album) and semp. I think played one song from there is a heaven/hell

  • Best concert I've ever attended.

    by Shon48 on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

If you are going back and forth on whether you should attend a concert with BMTH there, no need to go farther from this review. From lighting to the big screen behind the band when they play, it will be an unforgettable experience. I'm usually a pretty chill guy but even then I was head banging to throw backs and singing my heart out to the new songs. Just go.

  • Bad audio

by Tubawookiee on 3/17/17Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

Beartooth and underoath were fantastic. BMTH had too much bass, couldn't hear the lead singer. Venue was gorgeous, but poorly managed. Aisles were packed
