About
British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

ABR Stole the Show, BMTH Sucked
by HaydenSC on 10/30/10The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 4 out of 5Bring Me The Horizon was a disappointment, they had a longer set at the Warped Tour. The singer was a joke, no emotion, came out and sang, then when BMTH was finishing the instrumental to the last song, he walked off stage... August Burns Red was fantastic, better than listening to the album as far as playing quality. August Burns Red should have been the headliner.
