About

British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached  No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

  • GREATEST EXPERIENCE EVER

by Jeremy on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve always been a fan of bmth since middle school, I’m currently 20.. that’s not Important. Their concert was insane- and just when we thought they left. They played one more song for us and it was epic. Definitely worth seeing again

  • long wait

by Squirrel on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 2 out of 5

Had 3 opening bands. It was a long wait. Band was OK but it started at 6.30 Bring me the horizon who was the band I came to see did not show up on stage until 9.30. he was done and over by 10.30 pm. I really like the stadium and will have no problem coming back to the stadium. I do not think Id come back to see Bring me the horizon.

  • Finally

by Jessica Eloise on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Ive been waiting to see BMTH and its a night that ill remember forever (and thats a feat considering i have the memory of a dead gnat). Absolutely one of the top performances ive ever seen

  • A truly crafted experience.

by Ben Olin on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

BMTH is no longer a “concert,” which highlights the music and performance. It’s now an “experience,” with multimedia vignettes and implementation that makes everything you hear, that much more impactful. As a former touring pro, I’ve witnessed thousands of sets, none like this.

  • Amazing!

by Sjacobs78 on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great show! The set up was something i've never seen before but was awesome! Between the band, the sound, and the visual experience - we would definitely go again!

  • Great Performance, Terrible Parking

by JP on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Freedom Hill has free parking, but the organization to get in the lot is non-existent. We were waiting in a mile-long line of cars that took 2 hours to get through, which led to us missing the first two acts. If you're going to a big name show at Freedom Hill, arrive super early! We've been to smaller shows where parking was not such a mess

  • It was absolutely amazing

by Lindsey on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

  • The best concert ever

by Manny Suarez on 10/18/22Rating: 5 out of 5

I seen them when they came to Chicago last Friday. First off, they picked up some good openers to get the crowd going. Second, the intro and creativity they have going on with the lights and theme video playing in the back is crazy good. Last, these guys show so much emotion. I can’t remember ever seeing one guy on stage just standing still. They love what they do. They show just as much as emotion for their new song as they do when they play older songs. Oli interacted with fans close up and that’s something not a lot of bands do. Glad he shows some appreciation to the fans

  • Amazing Experience

    by G.na on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert I’ve been to, hands down. The opening acts were solid, and Bring Me the Horizon were phenomenal. They played a variety and new and old songs. The stage design and graphics were top-notch. And the band cared about the crowd’s safety—especially when they noticed someone got hurt. Great experience overall

  • Amazing show!

by Jenn on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was awesome. Plenty of room and lines were not too long. Food and drink is always over priced so I'm beyond that. To my surprise, which has never been done in any of my recent shows, the security was giving out water to the general admission floor crowd. As you know it gets HOT when you're up front, where we were, and no amount of death could see me away from getting close. They provided room for me to die another day with that awesome gesture. There was also an accident with a crowd surfer and BMTH was super quick to respond, stop and notify the venue. This ain't no Travis Scott show. We watch out for our people. All the bands were amazing and watching BMTH was a bucket list checked off. I can perish at some other show now.

  • Incredible show!!

    by Syd B. on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

BMTH put on such an awesome show!!! I just wish it was longer, it felt so short compared to the openers. The visuals and the energy were great, though, I loved hearing a bunch of my favorite songs played live :)

  • UNFORGETTABLE CORE MEMORY

by nellyfabila on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Bring Me The Horizon brought us a show unlike any other! They had it all. Incredible sound and audio. Amazing visuals and set design. And of course, an unbelievable performance by all the band members. Oliver truly gave it his all. I need to see them again because I had the best time of my life. Best concert I’ve ever been to!

  • Great show/venue

by RockinWI on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The venue had a great set up to enter from multiple locations. Having the sky bridge access was WONDERFUL. Very easy to find seats. Drinks reasonably priced for the event and staff was very polite and helpful when asked a question. It was nice to have access to multiple restrooms which reduce wait time. Bring me the Horizon was amazing as always. Everyone did a great job when their was injured concert goers in the crowd as well.

  • POST HUMAN TOUR!!!

by roman on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Best BMTH show ever!!! They absolutely killed it!!

  • Best show ever!

by Dre on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show! Not too oversold and was able to see the bands from the floor without an issue! Had a great time.

  • Amazing Performance But Too Short

    by Matt W on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I have been a fan of BMTH since 2010. I finally had the chance to see them and feed my childhood dreams. Needless to say i bought tickets asap and waited patiently for them. The day came and the supporting bands were OK. Not great.....then at 9.15 they came on stage.....until 10.35. What?! I went to slipknot a few months ago and they were on nearly an hour and 30 mins longer. The disappointment in the fact they barely did an album length on stage is immense. They were amazing on stage. No fault on the performance. But for a froup been around since 2007, do better!

  • Must See Metal

by Potweasel on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great live show, with cool effects, songs from all over their catalog, and band clearly pays attention to the crowd and its energy, even stopping the show to help someone who was injured. Openers also all killed it, special shout out to knocked loose for getting the mosh pits loose for Bring me the Horizon

  • Amazing energy performance

by Bea Mg on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Bring me the horizon blow my mind, high energy, perfect sound, and audience loving every minute of it. They opening Acts rocked the stage and roamed the crowd. I will definitely see them again.

  • Wintrust sucks

    by J on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

BMTH put on an amazing show as always but wintrust arena was not great. Audio wasnt dialed in. Awkward set up for general admission and if you go there take public transportation or stay the night. Took longer leaving then the first 2 opening acts combined.

  • GREAT SHOW!

by Nani on 10/17/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Bring me the Horizon was my very first music concert I have attended. I have to say sharing a magnificent concert with my hubby was the most memorable moment I have experienced in my life. Bring me the Horizon also took care of their fans. During October 14th in Chicago Wintrust Arena, a female fan seemed to fainted. Without hesitation lead vocals Oliver called in medic for the fan. Knowing that they put on a magnificent show while taking care of their fans made the concert a welcoming and safe environment. Definitely worth saying Bring me the Horizon was my very first music concert and will be having high expectations for other shows to come.
