About

British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon had its biggest US chart success to date in 2013 with the album Sempiternal, which reached  No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The quintet -- guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Mat Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish -- followed up the album with concerts around the world, including a stint on the Vans Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt though the US with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, giving fans plenty of chances to pick up tickets to see the rising group. Sempiternal -- produced by Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones) -- marked a further evolution of Bring Me the Horizon, which began as a deathcore band but now has a more nuanced, varied, and melodic sound. On stage, the group has a reputation for delivering energetic performances, and has developed into a very tight unit by playing hundreds of concerts over the last decade.

  • Best concert i’ve ever seen

by Thadd on 10/18/22Armory - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I was amazed at how big this venue turned out to be. Bring me the horizon was amazing and so were all of the openers who were kind enough to get us all hyped up for the main event. the security was very kind and helpful and so were all of the bartenders. if bring me the horizon ever comes back to The Armory, i will be going back no question. thank you to everyone involved with this concert, it was a truly amazing experience. Rock on y’all🤘

  • Did not know the band but was great!

by Hillary on 10/18/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I bought tickets for this tour to see the second opening act, Grandson. I did not know any of the other bands playing but was surprised by how great of a show Bring Me The Horizon was! The sound and visuals were awesome. I am glad I stayed to check them out and will now be listening and will maybe see them perform again. Really fun show

  • EMO Heaven

by Macknae on 10/18/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The Chicago concert was insane. It was held at a choice Venue that brought all the right elements to experience the world of EMO. Oliver Sykes and bands amazing performance brought the house down and “brought me the horizon!”

  • Amazing concert! Venue is awesome and band was even better!

by Chrystal A on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Have been waiting for Bring Me the Horizon to come to America so we could see them! It was my first time watching the band play LIVE and they rocked it out! So hard poor Oli started to lose his voice. Love you guys and can't wait to see you on the next tour!

  • Amazing

by JRoc on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

BMTH was amazing! As was some of the openers, GRANDSON and Knocked Loose! Siiikbrain wasn’t a great choice though, she’s horrible live. But all in all I loved it and all the staff members are always great to interact with!

  • AMAZING SHOW!

by Jamie on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I've seen Bring me the Horizon do this exact same set and it was amazing both times. There will never not be a time that I want to see BMTH. Loved the venue as well. We will return.

  • Bring me the horizon

by Grass on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 3 out of 5

The venue is definitely interesting, a bit quiet but it’s set up nice. I love This band but I’m not the biggest fan of their new stuff and that’s about all they played.

  • Good Performance Short Show

by Ed Hardy on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 3 out of 5

I’m guessing that bring me is trying to conserve Ollie’s voice so that he can make the whole tour. They’ve got such a limited set list already and they flex up or down how many songs they’ll play from venue to venue. They perform a lot of the new stuff but leave out many classics from older albums.

  • Amazing Show! BMTH were incredible

by RedheadGoth on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Sound and energy were out of this world. They sound just like they do in studio because they’re all so freaking talented - and Oli Sykes …. Need I say more? He was perfection. His throat hurt from having had Covid and his singing and screaming were still perfection. Loved the venue too. Friendly staff, great layout, not huge so you could see the band great from all angles. Can’t wait to come back for another show

  • Bring Me def brought it!

This show was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. All the openers were FANTASTIC. The acoustics were amazing. Bring me the Horizon sounded just like they would on an album, if not, maybe even better. They put on a hell of a show. I couldn’t be happier.

This was my first time seeing Bring Me the Horizon. I’ve been listening to them for around 8 years, and I was extremely excited. I was nervous that I had hyped the concert up too much and it wasn’t going to live up to the expectations I had. In the end, the concert surpassed my expectations by a long shot. The performance was absolutely incredible, and I will absolutely be seeing them again if I have the chance!

  • Oli was cold

by Riley S. on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

When I say obsessed with bring me the horizon i mean OBSESSED! I've been into them for 7 years now, got into them when I was a young emo and finally have adult money when they're touring in the US to go see them. It was a phenomenal concert, they played new songs and old songs (they could play any song and I would be jumping to my hearts content) which was great for old fans and new fans. Their whole post human live experience graphics and theme is fantastic, creepy, and eye opening. I love love love it. This concert was outside in October so it was only about 45 out, chilly for a concert where you're outside for a few hours! I believe Oli's voice was cold, he didn't really sing/scream the whole song of any of his songs and let the fans fill in a-lot, which is magical and disappointing at the same time. The songs sound so fantastic live, they're mixed perfectly so that they sound just like recordings... and Oli's voice is just amazing, even if he was cold and it wasn't so good on his vocal chords he sounded absolutely fantastic. Love that concert. I would love to live in that memory forever and I definitely have the post-concert blues. If you're considering it, go see them live! Their tickets are a good price for the following they have!

  • Amazing

by showdan on 10/18/22Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely love seeing BMTH live! They always put on an amazing show and can't wait until they come back around this area again.

  • Outstanding show!

by Michael on 10/18/22Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Knocked Loose was fantastic as they payed down some heavy beats that got the crowd pumped. Such an exciting band to see and I can’t wait to listen as they grow and evolve. Then BMTH came on and blew everyone’s mind. The theme with Eve and the light show added to the amazing music. This was my first time seeing them and I was truly blown away by how good the show was. Truly an amazing night.
