Campbell is cheer-royalty at Truman High School and her senior year should prove the most cheertastic – she's been named captain of the squad! But, an unexpected redistricting has forced her to spend her final year of high school at the neighbouring hard-knock Jackson High School. Despite having the deck stacked against her, Campbell befriends the dance crew girls and, along with their headstrong and hardworking leader, Danielle, manages to form a powerhouse squad for the ultimate competition – the National Championships.

Show was great! The singing and dancing / cheerleading was all really really good!
This is a great high energy funny show that I would highly recommend!!! My daughter and I enjoyed the whole show!!!
Do yourself a favor and go see this flawless, fun and impressive show! The acting, the stunting, choreography, music and voices are top-notch in every way! The cast is spot on charming and the whole production is creative, clever and delivered to the highest of standards! Bring the kids and you'll all walk out with a feel-good spring in your step. Don't miss it!
Front row seats in akron, the shows was amazing! The music was fabulous, the plot was great, the lines were funny and it was an all around huge entertainment! I love love loved it!
I didn't think I would like it when I realized it was a cheerleading story. I actually enjoyed it very much. It was a great performance and story.
The show was amazing! I was smiling from ear to ear could not wait to see what came next. One thing that was kind of a downer was it was too many slow songs. When i think of Bring It On I think of upbeat because of the girls flying in the air. Cheerleaders are happy and they have more spirit than anybody and this is coming from a cheerleader. But overall if i had the chance I would go see it again!
The comedy was funny and up to date. My 17 yr. old daughter & I loved it!
Humorous, fun, very talented group. The cheer stunts were great and the singing fantastic.
This was a terrible musical! There were way too many slow songs. At one point my girls almost fell asleep. There were not enough cheer routines. The sets were terrible. Very mediocre. BAD! I wouldnt recommend it to anyone!
Was slow getting started but picked up in the second half.
Accoustics at River Center are not worth the drive and the weather and traffic were impossible. We know one of the local stars so we wanted to make the venture to support her in her home region.
Bring it on is a very exciting show. The stunts and tumbling were amazing and fun to watch. The acting and singing were very good as well. The entire cast did an awesome job. I would recommend this show to just about everyone except young children. The show is 2+ hours and the little ones near me had trouble staying engaged as the show went on. Some of the material may not be for younger kids either.
This was a great high energy show. The story line was not the greatest, but the music and performances were great. Had a blast with my adult daughter!!
I took my 9 year old niece to Bring It On as a Christmas gift. I had no idea what the play was about, or that there was a movie! I will say I enjoyed, and at least 5 times during the show my niece leaned over and said "Thanks for taking me here Auntie, this is so good!
I am usually a skeptic as it comes to movies turned into musicals, but I can honestly say, that this was a well done production with an overall theme from the original movie, which sets up a for a great show. The fact that the show highlights new singers in each number and uses multiple kinds of music styles was very impressive. The acrobatics and dance moves also really got you fired up. Personally, I was never a cheerleader, but just like any other sport, you prepare, work your butt off, and hopefully you win your competition. In this case, the message came through loud and clear that if you have a goal in mind, you can be successful, even if it means coming in second, but having a great time with friends no matter what you look like on the outside.
Went to see this play with my daughter. Enjoyed it a lot. They made changes from the movie so it made it more interesting than if it followed it exactly.
Took my 16 yr. old and her friend and they loved it! They were into it from beginning to end, eyes wide open, mouth even open at times. It was exciting, funny, inspirational and overall just plain FUN!
The play was fabulous, the cast was phenomenal, and the aerial stunts were breathtaking!
I enjoyed the show, some of the songs/scenes were a little drawn out or unnecessary. I would have preferred more dancing/stunting.
