This is a fun show to see. These guys do one of the best Pink Floyd shows I've ever seen. Lots of heart and soul. Really enjoy seeing them. Will go again.
Excellent tribute band. Only Pink Floyd is better!!
The Bricks in the Wall show was awesome! The music was true to Pink Floyd which is important to us hard-core PF fans. The laser lights and video were, as always, entertaining. The girls are incredibly talented and deserved the standing o that they received. I loved that the band played one of my old favorites, Fat Old Sun. Kudos to the drummer, keyboardist, saxophonist, and Waters/Gilmour vocals! The lead guitarist is always spot on! As long as this band keeps playing, I will be in the audience. Rock ON!!
The concert was awesome! Thought we were at a Pink Floyd concert. Long concert, well worth the money. My only small is complaint is the lasers needed to be stepped up more through out the whole concert. But like I said, great show!!!
It was good...they played well. The laser show was surprisingly good for a cover band.
...in a tribute band. Great selection of songs, and all were well executed
Great show! Great lights! Great lasers! A very fun show!
Bricks in the Wall, as always, put on a phenomenal show! We've seen the Australian Pink Floyd, and of course they're great, but they tend to put their own spin on the music. We actually prefer Bricks in the Wall because they stay so true to the music of Pink Floyd. We've been attending their shows for years and it seems that they just get better and better. The girls do a beautiful and mournful Great Gig in the Sky. The Gilmore/Waters vocals are spot on. The saxophone, video, and laser lights give the show a quality unique to Pink Floyd. The only negative thing I can say is that they don't perform often enough!
The Floyd have NOTHING on these guys!!! Absolutely AMAZING show!!! I have seen The Floyd LIVE before and these guys are them reincarnated!! During the concert I closed my eyes and felt as if The Floyd was playing there in front of me. The final "nail in the coffin" was when not one but ALL THREE LADIES sang the female solo part on the one song from the Dark Side of the Moon. MAN CAN THESE LADIES BELT IT OUT!!! And the whole band actually looked like they were having a blast, were having fun, were enjoying themselves and actually liked each other and being around each other!!!! Being in business for 17 years, this says a lot about the members!!! 2 HOURS & 45 MINUTES of non-stop FLOYD!!! This was my first time to see them and anytime they are here in Dallas and my schedule allows I WILL GO TO SEE THEM!!! They are a credit to themselves as artist and a credit to The Floyd as a cover band of The Floyd!!!! Really a FANTASTIC SHOW and the HOB venue was a nice surprise also!!! Keep rocking as we ALL are just "BRICKS IN THE WALL!!"
Hope the show was good -- Missed it due to a car wreck on the way to the show--- Should have purchased the insurance -- so thats one thing I can recommend --
Last Friday night I was all set to go see Dennis Deyoung when I got the notice that he had postponed his show due to illness. No big deal I just headed to the House of Blues to catch the incredible Bricks in The Wall, my favorite tribute band of all time. This was my 5th time to see them. I am not sure what to say that I have not said before. They are always magnificent. It’s not just the special effects, like the video and the lasers, it’s the sound!! They recreate the Floyd sound note for note. It was 2 hour and 40 minute gig covering all eras of the Floyd catalogue including a song from Endless River. I am a hardcore Floyd fan so to have this band play a Dallas a few times of year is a treat! Tickets were 25 bucks, a steal for this show. I watched the first few songs from the floor then moved to my seat n balcony. While my seat was on the top row I noticed one of the private boxes was empty, so I opened the door and walked in and watched the rest of the concert in the privacy of my own box. The only bad thing about a Bricks in the Wall show is when it’s over. I could watch this band play 4 or 5 hours. I can’t wait to see them a 6th time!! Bricks in the Wall Set List Breathe Astronomy domine Time Fat old sun Hey you Sine on you crazy diamond Pigs on a wing 1 Dogs Money What do you want from me Louder than words Great gig in the sky Another brick part 1 Happiest days Another brick part 2 Mother Goodbye blue sky Empty spaces What shall we do now Young lust Have a cigar Wish you were here Us and them Any colour you like Brain damage Eclipse Run like hell Comfortably numb
Went to the Bricks In the Wall show on 1/16/2015 at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX and thoroughly enjoyed it! The band is great and plays a great representation of Floyd songs! Would definitely go again in the future!
My husband is a huge Pink Floyd fan... that being said he was underwhelmed by the show. It was o.k. but he was just not impressed nor was I. If you really need a Pink Floyd fix and since they are not a group any more, this one is o.k., but too bad you can't hear the real group any more because this one is sorely lacking. I was NOT impressed by the band member smoking a cigarette on stage since it is a closed in area, I am allergic and it is banned in those spaces. Very rude. The songs drug on forever too ... they were very long and every song just sounded like a continuation of the next so it basically sounded like one song all night long.
I am a Pink Floyd nut and was a little skeptical about whether I would enjoy seeing the show. I am very glad I went because they rocked the house. Played all the big hits and even had several I hadn't heard before. It is a good show and will see them next time they come around.
This was, by far, the most amazing concert I have ever attended. A truly unforgettable experience I will NEVER forget!!
I catch Bricks in the Wall every chance I can. These musicians are very talented and are faithful to the whole body of work. No flying pig, but a great light show as well. If you haven't heard "Run Like Hell", don't leave.
This is an Awesome Band for a tribute to Pink Floyd music. They we on the money with all their hits. The laser show was added feature with the concert. It was a great 2 1/2 hour concert. Will see them again! These guys and gals played straight through for 2 1/2 hours without a break. Never lost the audience Great backup vocals ladies. Each band member had their particular solo during the show and nailed it with the songs played. The Hard Rock in Biloxi, Ms. needs to pick up on this event. They would sound even better with their setup. The allowance of cigarettes smoking was the only bad issue. House of Blues New Orleans doesn't normally allow cigarettes within the concerts area. They did for this concert for some reason. Its just too small an area without exhaust to allow.
It was a good show, the band played a variety of songs, from Dark side to the wall.
Awesome show -- played over 2 hours -- At certain points in the set I was lost in the moment. They know their stuff and play really well together - Ladies have fantastic voices - Took my 12 yr. old since this is as close as your going to get to the real. - They did not play Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict.....which would have been a trip......no pun intended
