  • Bricks in the Wall is phenomenal!

by Liva1 on 9/10/14House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

We've heard this band play many times and they just get better and better with each performance. They are incredibly skilled musicians who stay true to Pink Floyd's music. We are enchanted from beginning to end, not only with the music, but with the artful video clips and the beautifully orchestrated lighting.

  • Bricks are solid

These guys never disappoint. I've seen them four times. They do some really deep cuts (Dogs, Astronomy Domine), which is an incredible treat for real PF fans like me. But they also do plenty of the songs even radio listeners will know, plus almost all of Dark Side. These guys know how to play. And the backup singers are great. I'll definitely continue to see Bricks play. BTW, they come on stage and play for quite a while, so don't be "fashionably" late. You'll miss some great stuff.

This is the third time to catch "Bricks In The Wall" and like a fine wine, they keep getting better and better. They play a stellar tribute to my all-time favorite band "Pink Floyd".

  • Bricks in the Wall...fabulous

by PAHV on 7/29/14House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

A terrific tribute band that not only musically represented Pink Floyd, but provided the lasers, film, and other effects to give a full "Pink Floyd" experience. The venue was also nice, since it was small and intimate and made the experience more enjoyable!

I've seen these guys like 5 times. I'm never completely disappointed, but the last couple of shows have been disappointing just a little. The show back in February was a downstairs only show, meaning you're on your feet the whole time jockeying for views over the 8' tall dude in front of you. That wasn't the big deal, what bothered me was the bassist either had a blown speaker or it was over-modulated to the point of annoyance. Other than that I was happy. This time, the volume on the rhythm guitar for the first 2/3rds of the show was insufficient. So whenever he did a solo I found myself struggling to hear his notes. What's the board-man doing, shouldn't he be controlling the balance of the instruments? I was happy they finally opened the balcony up for seating so I can not worry about blowing out a knee. I'm not 18 anymore so I appreciate a little comfort on occasion. I also liked the fact that they toned down the politics that you see in some of the other shows and showed returning service members reuniting with families, a heartwarming surprise. We already know that Bush lied, people died, and Maggie Thatcher was evil....blah blah blah! Overall, it is really good! Not Brit Floyd good but good enough for me to go enjoy the show every time they come. I might even get a t-shirt one of these days. :)

The band was great but I was expecting more laser lights but overall I enjoyed the show.

  • Bricks (B.I.W.) fan forever!

by rocknonimous on 7/29/14House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Outstanding, every performance, we have seen them twice this year for obvious reasons they love what they do and are appreciated. We will probably go again when they return to House of Blues. If you get the opportunity to go do so you won't forget it!

  • Always a pleasure...

I went to see Bricks in the Wall for the third time and my friends and I, Pink Floyd's fan, had a great time... For sure, this is not Gilmour/Water, but for $13, they offer a very decent show both visually and acoustically...

  • Bricks in the Wall was awesome....again!

Our second time seeing them & they were awesome! Great seats, great music...what could be better? Will come back & see them again for sure.

Needless to say, the music was awesome! Performance was great. I would definitely go back to see it again.

  • Not as big of a Pink Floyd fan as I thought I was

by Maggieatheart on 7/29/14House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

I thought I was a Pink Floyd fan, but I found out I really only know a few of the songs they played. The band sounded great and played for over two hours, but it just wasn't my thing. The others with me enjoyed it. Beware and be prepared for a pat down, purse emptying, metal wand, looking in your cigarette pack search to get into the House of Blues...No one in the line was happy about that. It seemed a bit excessive and two guys sitting by me lit up as soon as the concert started.

  • Music good, venue average

by Grandpa18 on 7/29/14House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 3 out of 5

While The Sight and Sound of Pink Floyd played excellent music, the venue left a lot to be desired. Being a Pink Floyd fan, the music did the group justice and for the price I would highly recommend. The venue was mostly standing room only and quite small. We were packed in like sardines. Parking in the area was also expensive.

  • Bad news

by Anonymous on 4/1/14House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 1 out of 5

The sound was so distorted and the singing was so bad, even the most classic Pink Floyd songs were hard to recognize. Easily one of the worst cover bands I've ever seen.

  • Great Showmanship

by Gian on 4/1/14House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Bricks in the Wall offers an excellent look at what a Pink Floyd concert must have been like. They pull out all the tricks to get the sound, lights, video and sound effects to match the real thing. The only issue I had with the most recent show is that the Bass guitar was too loud often drowning out a lot of the other sound coming from the stage. I've been at the House of Blues Dallas before and their sound does often leave something to be desired, but I really think it was just the Bass tonight that was distracting from an otherwise outstanding effort.

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by Maidenman on 12/28/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Saw this great Floyd tribute for the 4th time last Saturday night. They always put on a great show. I can’t really say more than I have said in previous reviews about them. It’s an incredible show and production every time. Video, lasers, recreating the Floyd sound with such precision, it blows me away every time. They play the hits, classics, rare ones and give you something from all eras of Floyd. I would say the vocals are about 75-80% spot on of the real voices, which is good, but the music is 100%, and with all the different effects Floyd has I don’t see how they do it so well. They played 90 minutes, then played DSOTM in start to finish then came back for a 3 song encore. Brilliant show!! A solid 2 ½ hours of music with no intermission. This show has more lasers than I had ever seen them use before. I always love seeing them at the House of Blues. This time is I sat on the 2nd row in the balcony. The best 25.00 value for a gig you can find! If this band is in your area or when they play again in Dallas, they are a must for all Pink Floyd fans! • Bricks in the Wall - Great Performance!

by 1234567890654 on 12/24/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

From the lighting to the sound, the best cover band I've experienced to date. I cannot imagine trying to create the Pink Floyd experience- but they did an outstanding job!

  • Bricks in the Wall was "Spot On"

by BITWRocks on 12/24/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

A truly incredible show. I have been a Pink Floyd fanatic for decades and this cover band has mastered every detail. The sound and vocals were amazing. Looking forward to seeing the show again in the near future. Would love to see you visit the Shreveport/Bossier area. Rock on!

  • Great!

by Macknight on 3/5/13House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Five-piece band with 3 backup singers. Awesome musicians... So much more than a cover band. The crowd got really into the show, too. They had a video screen for the visually bored in the audience. The lasers were underwhelming but that didn't matter.
