Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 40 Billboard #1 singles as a keyboardist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for three consecutive months.
Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Flash forward to present day, Culbertson has been going back and listening more and more to music that inspired him as a young musician such as David Sanborn, The Brecker Bros, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny & others in the jazz fusion world.
Whether you're listening to music from "Day Trip" on record or live in concert, you're hearing an eclectic, entertaining and engaging set from an artist at the peak of his power.
He is a very talented musician, I loved and enjoyed every minute, I wish it was a little longer and he adds more of his older music!

One of the best performances I've seen. Brian Culbertson is. a true entertainer.
Brian Culbertson was š„š„really enjoyed him & the whole band was awesome. Very entertaining and so much energy. My first time seeing Brian!!! I will definitely be back to see him.
I've seen him several times, but this was the BEST PERFORMMANCE HE HAS DONE.
B.C. has a ton of great songs but he sings the same ole songs everytime he comes to concert. I've seen him about 10 times but this is the last hurray for me. I'll just download his music. I'll just support him from afar.
I've seen this concert twice in two different citys and it's been an awesome performance ever...I will always travel to see him, it's worth the money and time
We had a ball, danced, clapped, screamed. Just a fantastic time, and left with a smile on my face.
If you have not experienced "BC"in the "D"at least once in your life you have not lived!!!
Excellent concert but our seats were moved because of a camera and so instead of main floor seats in the center we were off to the side š³also I know those seats were cheaper than the ones we originally purchased.
Brian always puts on a spectacular show! And the fact that he chose Detroit to film his concert made the experience even better! I will always see him when he comes to town
BC is awesome, what else can be said. His shows are simply the best.
I LOVE Brian Culbertson. I have followed his music for the past 25 years. His gifted skills to play the piano like he does is absolutely FLAWLESS. He leaves me breathless. I have never seen anyone play those keys like that - so fast - plays backwards - and does not even look at his fingers...AWESOME. I will continue to follow him and his music and his passion for his fans and the kind gestures of appreciation he sends to them. GOD has truly blessed him with a tremendous talent to play music that soothes your soul and lets you sit back and just wander in your mind. Keep it going, Brian. As you always say - STAY WIT IT. You have a fan that truly loves and admires you. You're a LEGEND!
I have attend a number of Brianās concerts. He gives the audience a great show. This was one of best performance I have attended. The lighting and effects added to the overall performance. Looking forward to his next trip to Detroit
