Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 40 Billboard #1 singles as a keyboardist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for three consecutive months.
Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Flash forward to present day, Culbertson has been going back and listening more and more to music that inspired him as a young musician such as David Sanborn, The Brecker Bros, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, Pat Metheny & others in the jazz fusion world.

The show was absolutely fantastic. Seeing Brian Culbertson is like reuniting with an old friend. He performed old hits as well as new songs, from the day trip album. His band is a highly talented group of musicians, who shined in perfect sync with Brian. As always, he was engaging and charismatic. A great show, that I would highly recommend seeing.

Brian Culbertson always gives an amazing show, and this time he was better than ever. He and his all star band were phenomenal! His incredible smooth jazz and funk infused music had everyone in the audience partying! The Day Trip tour and album are not to be missed.
Brian was excellent energetic and very entertaining had a great band nice mix of older and younger musicians. Great horn section. Impressed with the silver outfits and instruments. Brian’s black matte trombone was authentic. He can both blow the trombone and play the piano eloquently. Great show and performance.
Brian Culbertson performance was amazing. I saw him back in 2017 at the Sony theater in New York, his performance and energy was contagious then as it still was at this concert, everyone was popping their heads, standing and clapping at their seats. Totally amazing.
WOW! Brian is A-MAZING, but his band is just as top notch as he is !! The show was so so good, thoroughly enjoyed it, and it comes HIGHLY recommended ! Go see it!!!
In the beautiful Count Basie Theatre Brian Culbertson put on a fantastic show. With a killer band and additional horns, the older theatre shook to its foundation. If you've never been to a Brian Culbertson show, now is the time to get tickets. Featuring a new album release and several older pieces the show was excellent. Unfortunately, he did not play my wife's favorite song "Sky's wide open", but I could tell she loved the show by the smile she had throughout. Can't wait for his return to the New York area, hopefully the Paramount in Huntington, NY.
Brian has assembled a group of excellent musician to join him on this tour. He is not only a great keyboard player, but is soo much fun to watch. If he has a show in your area, I strongly advise buying tickets.

What a great show he is one hell of a performer. His band is terrific. I wish you didn’t end as quick as it did even though it was two hours I would’ve liked to stay another two hours. That’s how good it was. Looking forward to the next time.
I really loved the VIP experience. Had the best seats in the house. Front and center row. The concert was excellent.

Oh boy - do they have a horn section! I was waiting for Brian playing his funky version of SandCastles but that’s alright. I’ve seen him at various venues and he always performs.

Brian set fire to his fingers while playing his keyboard. He was also humorous! I love how he showcases his supporting musicians. They were also talented artists. “Wow”! Go, guys. You all rock!
It was a high energy performance. I was really impressed with the sound system. Often times in large venues, the bass is muddy in the mix. Not here, the bass was nice and clear!
My wife and I had an amazing time! While I’m not a fan of casinos due to their busy atmosphere, the concert we attended was phenomenal. Brian Culbertson certainly knows how to put on a show that captivates his audience. One of the highlights for me was when he shared the stage with a keyboardist named Nick, who was a guest performer. It’s not something you see very often. We are also planning a "USA Eastern Tour"vacation next summer, where we’ll visit various states. We agreed that if "Brian Culbertson"is performing in any of the states we plan to visit, we will definitely find a way to attend his concert again.
I have seen Brian Culbertson many times before and all of his shows were fabulous! This show though, was by far the most energetic, engaging, enthusiastic, jazzy, funky, breath taking performance that I have ever witnessed from Brian. The horns really took this performance to another level! Truly mind blowing!!
Brian and the Band! Can't get enough! Will definitely be back for more!!!
